Chapter 416 Different Morning Exercise

In a hospital storage room, an old, shabby-looking man sat on a chair, eyeing the distinguished Jackson.

"You look rich and powerful. If my info is helpful, will you really pay me a lot?" the man asked.

Jackson, already impatient, signaled to Harry behind him.

Harry tossed a big black duffel bag at the man's feet, revealing it was full of cash. "If your info checks out, it's all yours," he said, then zipped the bag back up and picked it up.

The man got anxious. "Everything I said is true. The girl's right thumb was cut off, wrapped in cloth. She had other injuries, a high fever, and was unconscious, left in the mountains. I found something on her wrist."

"What was it?" Jackson asked sharply.

"A bracelet made of red string. I thought I could sell it, but it was just a peach pit. I kept it because the carving was interesting. When I heard they were looking for the girl, I hid it," the man replied.

Jackson got excited. Star used to wear a red string bracelet.

"Take it out!" Jackson demanded.

The man fumbled in his pocket and pulled out an old red string with a peach pit-shaped object.

Jackson was slightly shocked as he stared at the bracelet.

Someone rushed over, grabbed the bracelet, and exclaimed, "It's Star's! Jackson, this is the bracelet Star's grandfather made for her and Henry."

Dominic clutched the bracelet, swaying.

Jackson supported him, eyes on the red string, excitement evident.

The bracelet was carved from wood into a peach pit shape, with patterns engraved on it. Henry's bracelet was burned during his cremation.

Jackson held Dominic's hand. "It seems Star wasn't taken to Averlake. I'll send people to search again. We'll find her this time."

Henry agreed. "Go quickly. Maybe Susan can still see the real Star!"

Early in the morning, Lillian moved slightly, and Jackson, holding her, sensed it and tightened his arms.

Lillian opened her eyes, smiling. "Let go of me. I have to go back to the dance troupe today. Aren't you going to do your morning exercise?"

Lillian had rested for several days and mentioned returning to the dance troupe yesterday. The family doctor confirmed she was fine, so Jackson agreed.

Hearing this, Jackson opened his eyes but didn't let go. Instead, he kissed her and lifted her nightgown, his warm hand caressing her soft skin.

Pressing against her, he whispered in a husky voice, "Today, we'll try a different kind of morning exercise."

Lillian's ears flushed, perhaps more sensitive due to pregnancy. As Jackson lifted her nightgown higher, her body responded, trembling lightly under his touch.
