Chapter 364 Argument
Lillian was enveloped by his familiar scent. However, the sweet flutter she once felt had all turned into anger and humiliation.
She thought, 'Why do I have to avoid him? I am upright and honest. It is he who is being secretive! I avoided him not because I was afraid and cowered. It was because I was too embarrassed at that time, my face covered in tears. I didn't want to face Jackson and the Prices in such a state and be laughed at by them. I want to maintain my last shred of dignity. How can Jackson continue to humiliate me so indifferently?'
Lillian's eyes welled up with tears, and she raised her hand and slapped Jackson's face without hesitation.
However, Jackson reacted swiftly, gripping her wrist forcefully, prying her fingers apart, and tightly interlocking their fingers.
Then, he lifted her arms and pinned them against the wall in a submissive position.
His kiss became more punishing and intense. With her fierce resistance, their bodies rubbed against each other, and she even could feel his physical reaction!
Lillian thought, 'Jackson is a bastard!'
She bit him hard, and the taste of blood instantly filled her mouth.
Jackson grunted, pulling away from her lips, his face cold and stern as he gripped Lillian's jaw.
He licked the blood from the corner of his mouth, the sting making him gloomy. He sneered and said, "Lilian, are you trying to bite me to death?"
Lillian panted heavily, glaring at him like a cat whose tail had been stepped on. She shouted, "Don't call me Lilian!"
Lillian used to love it when Jackson called her that because when she first arrived at the Frane family, she felt lost, and that name gave her a sense of belonging.
Actually, in the Frane family, besides Jackson, no one else called her that.
That name felt exclusive to him, and every time he said it, it made Lillian feel cherished.
But now, hearing it only pierced her heart.
"What's wrong? You used to love the nickname." Jackson frowned, his thumb gently caressing the redness at the corner of Lillian's eye.
Lillian stared at him and asked coldly, "Is the Lilian you're referring to Star's nickname?"
Jackson froze, and the gentle touch at the corner of Lillian's eye suddenly became forceful.
The delicate skin at the corner of Lillian's eye felt a slight pain.
They were pressed close together, his body unable to hide his reaction to her words.
Lillian's heart sank abruptly.
Even though she was mentally prepared, facing it directly felt like a boulder crushing her chest, making it hard to breathe.
"What nonsense are you talking about? Stop overthinking!" Jackson finally said in a deep voice. His tone of reprimand was like a sign of guilt to Lillian.
Lillian's gaze was icy, and a mocking smile was on her face.
Jackson frowned and asked coldly, "Who told you these things?"
Lillian felt a wave of helplessness, closing her eyes and saying, "You've been looking for Star for so many years. Now that she's back, why are you still entangled with me? Let's get a divorce. If you're worried about Jeffrey's illness, there's no need. I treat Jeffrey like my brother. If Taylor's cord blood can really save Jeffrey, I would be more willing than anyone."
Lillian thought that by making things clear, Jackson would finally let go.
She tried to pull her hand away to leave, not wanting to face him for another moment.
However, Jackson held her hand tightly, not letting her go.
Before Lillian could struggle to say something more stubborn, he bent down again and bit her lips.
Lillian struggled. The sounds of their bodies colliding and their lips entwining echoed from the corner.
Someone passed by, their footsteps pausing.
