Chapter 12 Don't Be Shy, Just Like Before
Duke University Hospital was one of Miracalia's largest sanatoriums, and the Frane Group had always been committed to extending its influence across various industries, naturally not overlooking the popular medical and elderly care field.
The Frane family held nearly 40% of the shares in Duke University Hospital, making them the nominal controllers. The advanced equipment, luxurious decoration, and above-average salary treatment for employees in the hospital all benefit from the continuous investment from the Frane family.
In order to repay the favor of the investors, the hospital spared no effort to place electronic screens in visible places within the park, constantly playing the history of the hospital and the latest developments of the Frane Group.
Having just finished watching Max's recent situation, Lillian weakly leaned against the white tiled wall in the hospital corridor. Across from her, a large screen was playing a report about the Frane family.
Entertainment reporters cornered Wendy at the airport, asking about her emotional state. The shaky camera still managed to capture the man next to Wendy, who turned out to be Jackson.
Facing the reporters' questions, Wendy, with a charming expression, replied, "Well, there's a man I deeply love. Four years ago, we separated due to a misunderstanding, but I believe that as long as we still love each other,, no matter where he is or what his status is now, we can eventually be together."
With that, Wendy smiled and looked towards Jackson beside her, and the reporter boldly moved the microphone towards him.
"Mr. Frane, are you the man Miss Sivan speaks of with such deep affection?" a reporter asked.
Jackson gestured for the bodyguard to step forward, shielding Wendy as they left together.
Lillian withdrew her gaze and gave a self-mocking smile.
Jackson's late return today and his indifferent attitude were enough to explain it all. It turned out he went to welcome his old lover!
A great sense of sorrow arose in Lillian's heart, and the idea of divorce became stronger. But if she left the Frane family, who could she rely on? Just earlier this month, Lillian had received a bank card from Jackson with ten million dollars! It was this that allowed her to sustain Max's last breath hanging by a thread.
Lillian, weary and exhausted, slowly walked to the hospital lobby. The sight before her cemented her resolve to divorce Jackson.
In the late night, Jackson and Wendy were chatting in the hospital lobby, with no one else around. Wendy's forehead slowly leaned towards Jackson. She gradually tested his reaction, seducing him bit by bit.
Hiding behind a billboard, Lillian could see everything clearly.
"Jackson, I've had a long day today, and I hope someone's shoulder can lend me some support,"
Wendy cooed gently. Seeing Jackson remain silent, she lightly rested her head on his shoulder.
Then Wendy took Jackson's hand and led his large hand to caress her smooth back. From the shoulders to the back, all the way down to Wendy's well-rounded buttocks.
Jackson was a bit awkward, his expression more unnatural, while Wendy became more unrestrained. She whispered in Jackson's ear, "Don't be shy, just like before."
Unable to bear it any longer, Lillian stepped out from behind the billboard.
"Jackson!" Lillian roared with the last bit of strength.
Jackson quickly withdrew his hand from Wendy's buttocks, a hint of panic flashing in his eyes, which then turned into anger.
