Chapter 302 Biased Towards Lillian

The scorching intensity carried a hint of punishment. Lillian's heart trembled slightly, her legs went weak, and she unconsciously sat on Jackson's lap, accepting his intensifying kiss.

After a while, Jackson panted, let her go, and said helplessly, "You're hurting me."

Lillian fell silent.

She looked down and realized that she had unconsciously reached out to grab Jackson's shirt around his waist, seemingly touching his wound.

She immediately let go of the hospital gown she had been clutching tightly, glaring at Jackson with a mix of anger and embarrassment and saying, "You deserve it! You didn't explain anything, and then you suddenly kissed me!"

Jackson chuckled, lifted Lillian's chin, and asked, "Staying by my side is a misery?"

Lillian pressed her rosy lips and snorted, "It is because you keep everything from me!"

Her voice was soft with grievance, a bit of coquettishness, and a hint of arrogance. It was like a hook, making Jackson's heart itch.

Jackson pinched her chin and said, "Didn't I just tell you? Wendy and I were never together. As for the child in her belly, you'll know in a while."

Since he was unwilling to say more, she had no choice.

She pouted, but Jackson lowered his head and kissed her again.

At that moment, the door to the ward was suddenly pushed open.

"Jackson, I heard about Lillian..."

At the door, Lyra was in front, followed by Daisy and two servants. They all stopped in their tracks, eyes wide with shock.

This scene felt familiar.

Facing the same situation twice in one day, in the same place, was something Lillian never expected.

Lillian's face instantly blushed.

However, Lyra's reaction was clearly different from Terry and Curtis, who had just closed the door and avoided the situation.

Before Lillian could react, Lyra stormed in, waving her cane angrily.

Lyra's face was full of anger as she cursed, "You were too much! How could you force Lillian? Did you drag her back from the airport? Do you plan to force her to have your child, imprison her, and use the child to tie her down? Get off her! How did the Franes raise someone like you?"

Lyra raised her cane and struck Jackson on the back, then grabbed his collar, trying to pull him away.

Jackson, feeling helpless and worried that her old age might cause her to hurt her back, cooperated, got up from Lillian, and said helplessly, "Grandma, I didn't."

Lillian, blushing, sat up awkwardly.

She thought that if she looked beyond the surface, Lyra's guesses seemed to be right.

Maybe she was just too weak, which was why she was tricked back by Jackson.

"Mom! Jackson is injured. How can you hit him?" Daisy hurried forward, pulling Lyra, who still wanted to hit Jackson.

Just now, she had clearly angered Jackson at the door of the ward, and he had shut her out.

She knew that barging into the ward would not get her a good response from Jackson, so she informed Lyra about the situation.

Jackson was injured because of Lillian, and Daisy thought Lyra would scold Lillian a bit.

It would be best if Lillian was sent abroad quickly so that the divorce would not face any more obstacles.

However, Daisy didn't expect Lyra to be completely biased towards Lillian.
