Chapter 811

Star collapsed to the ground in exhaustion and wiped the tears from her face, saying, "Dad, if you lock me up for two days, I won't be in good shape for the banquet and will miss such a great opportunity."

Dominic raised his hand only after hearing her say this.

The two bodyguards who were holding Star immediately let go and stepped back. Star choked up and said, "Thank you, Dad."

Dominic patted her face, "Don't disappoint me this time."

The Peace Mansion.

When Jackson returned, Lillian was still asleep on the large bed.

On the double bed, Lillian was curled up in a small ball, always looking insecure, with only her thick long hair spread wildly across the pillow.

Jackson stood at the door and watched her silently for a moment, feeling a bit dazed.

He was afraid of waking Lillian, and even more afraid of waking himself, realizing that everything in front of him was just a fantasy.

"What are you looking at?"

Lillian, who was pretending to sleep, couldn't keep up the act any longer. She opened her eyes and suddenly asked.

Jackson snapped back to reality, meeting her sleepy and lazy gaze. He smiled slightly and said, "Looking at you, I can't get enough. You're beautiful."

The sudden, straightforward compliment made Lillian's already rosy face blush even more.

She gave him a playful glare. "Then take your time looking."

After saying that, she turned over and faced away from him.

Jackson chuckled and walked in.

He went to the sofa area, bent down to pour Lillian a glass of water, and then sat down by the bed.

Jackson pinched Lillian's blushing cheek and said, "Drink some water and sleep a bit more?"

Lillian was already awake. She propped herself up, took the glass of water, and glanced at the time.

She had slept for more than two hours and was a bit groggy.

She said, "I remember I was applying medicine on the sofa."

"Yes, I served you so well that you fell asleep."

Jackson replied with a teasing smile in his eyes.

Lillian felt a bit embarrassed again. She didn't expect to fall asleep while Jackson was applying medicine to her waist.

Had she become so unguarded around Jackson?

Or was it because this was the Peace Mansion, their former home, where she still felt a sense of belonging and security?

Lillian thought as she lowered her head to drink water, using it to hide her slightly turbulent emotions.

Her messy hair fell in front of her face as she lowered her head, covering half of her small face.

Jackson instinctively reached out to help her tidy it up, and Lillian didn't avoid it, letting him do it.

But at this moment, she caught a faint scent of perfume on Jackson's clothes.

Lillian paused slightly, took a couple more sips of water, and casually asked, "Did you go out?"

"Went to the Porter Manor."

Lillian was stunned, "The Porter Manor?"

She looked at him and quickly understood, so the unfamiliar woman's perfume on him was from there.

While she felt relieved, Lillian also felt a bit annoyed.

After everything that had happened, she was still so tense, unable to calmly deal with these things.

Just a slight clue on Jackson would make her suspicious.

This also showed that their trust in each other was still not enough.

"What are you thinking about?"

Lillian's sudden distraction puzzled Jackson. He lifted her chin and asked.

Seeing a bit of water on her lips, he gently wiped it off with his thumb.

A tingling sensation spread, and Lillian came back to her senses, shaking her head.

She thought that if they were to continue, she should learn to trust Jackson more.

She shouldn't be suspicious because of past incidents with Wendy and Star.

She shook her head, "Nothing. You went to the Porter Manor because of those videos and rumors. Was it Bianca?"

Jackson took the glass from Lillian's hand and drank the water himself.

He seemed very thirsty, finishing half the glass in a few gulps.

The curve of his neck made his Adam's apple more prominent.

As he drank, his throat moved up and down, looking inexplicably sexy.

Especially when Lillian noticed that his lips were touching the same spot where her lip print was on the glass, her breathing became a bit erratic.

She suspected Jackson was subtly teasing her.

"It wouldn't be surprising if Bianca did it. We had a grudge over Shirley's incident before, but those videos and photos would be hard to complete without Star's cooperation, right?"

Lillian could guess who was behind this.

But since Jackson said he would handle it, Lillian didn't have anyone investigate further.

She wanted to see if Jackson would find out it was Bianca and then let Star off the hook.

Lillian's expression was half-smiling, looking at him with a hint of doubt in her eyes.

Jackson's previous attitude towards Star had made Lillian reluctant to trust him easily.

Jackson sighed inwardly and patted Lillian's head.

"My future wife is so smart, figuring everything out at home. Yes, Star instigated Bianca to do it. Bianca has already admitted it."

Lillian met Jackson's gaze and snorted.

"So, how do you plan to handle it?"

"Oscar will marry Bianca off to another city. At least for a while, she won't be back in Miracalia causing trouble. Are you satisfied with this outcome?"

Lillian was satisfied.

Bianca was not a troublemaker, and Lillian wasn't afraid of her.

But Lillian was worried that Bianca would trouble Shirley again. Shirley, with her personality, wouldn't tell Lillian even if she was bullied by Bianca.

Just like before, if things hadn't escalated, she wouldn't have known Shirley was in trouble.

Now that Bianca was sent away, Lillian didn't have to worry about her bothering Shirley anymore.

"Satisfied. What else?"

She was more concerned about Star.

But Jackson seemed to know this and deliberately didn't mention it. He suddenly raised his hand, stretching his long arm to the headboard, trapping Lillian between his arms and chest.

With a smile in his deep eyes, he said, "Since you're satisfied, encourage your future husband first."

After saying that, Jackson slightly raised his handsome face, hinting for a kiss, his eyes fixed on Lillian's red lips.
