Chapter 202 Please Take the Five Million
Jenny had a car accident a year ago, and Barry happened to pass by, rescued her from the car, and gave her first aid.
He even followed the ambulance all the way to the hospital. So, Jenny fell in love with him.
When Jenny carried the cake she had made herself to find Barry today, she happened to see him coming out of the hospital, so she followed him.
Jenny was shocked to see Lillian and Barry on a date again, and it was just the two of them this time.
Watching Barry care for and protect Lillian so much, Jenny felt jealous and wanted to hit her.
"What are you talking about?" Barry frowned, looking extremely displeased.
Jenny's eyes turned red, and she directed her anger towards Lillian.
She said, "Lillian, how can you be so shameless? You seduce men everywhere and bring shame to the Frane Family. You..."
Before Jenny could finish her sentence, Lillian picked up the cup of coffee and splashed it at Jenny directly.
Half of Jenny's face was covered in coffee stains, ruining her delicate makeup.
Lillian stared coldly at her. "Jenny, you look really ugly when you're jealous."
Jenny retorted, "Jealous of you? You're not worthy! Barry doesn't even know what kind of person you, so he is deceived by you. When you were just 18, you dared to drug Jackson and sleep with him, causing you to be unable to get out of bed for three days."
As Jenny thought about Wendy's words four years ago that Barry liked Lillian and even had his mother, Amy, propose to Lillian for him at the Frane Family, she was angrier, irrational, and shouting sharply.
Although there weren't many people in the cafe, they all looked over.
Lillian's face turned pale, and she slapped Jenny.
Jenny stared at Lillian, looking even more frantic. "Am I wrong? You even had stitches and was hospitalized. You're just a shameful woman who's being played! Jackson was so disgusted by you that he went abroad for a year and didn't come back!"
As Jenny spoke, she was about to slap Lillian again.
Lillian grabbed her hand forcefully and slapped Jenny with her other hand.
"Jenny, you’re so foul-mouthed. I’ll teach you a lesson," Lillian said.
As Lillian spoke, she raised her hand to smack again.
At that moment, a familiar large hand reached over and grabbed Lillian's raised wrist.
Jackson's cold voice asked, "Lillian, what are you doing?"
Lillian looked up and saw Jackson.
Jackson had just come in. His grip on Lillian's wrist was heavy, and his furrowed brow showed a hint of sharpness.
"Jackson! Lillian cheated openly. I just asked her a few questions, and she hit me! Look at how she's bullied me!" Jenny complained loudly.
Seeing Jackson blocking Lillian, Jenny suddenly felt like she had seen a savior, tears of grievance streaming down her face. She pushed Lillian away and hid behind him, crying and accusing.
Jackson glanced at Jenny, and compared to her pitiful state, Lillian did indeed seem more like the bully.
He then cast a glance at Barry behind Lillian, his eyes turning sullen.
He thought Lillian was meeting him today, but he didn't expect her to bring Barry along.
What was she trying to do?
Did she want to introduce her next boyfriend to him formally?
"Explain to me." Jackson's gaze returned to Lillian, and his voice was stern.
By saying that, however, he seemed more like defending Jenny, standing on the opposite side, accusing and angry at Lillian.
Thinking about the harsh words Jenny had just said, Lillian felt frustrated and disappointed, her lips trembling.
She pushed away Jackson's hand forcefully, took a step back, took out her wallet from her bag, and handed over a bank card, saying coldly, "I have nothing to explain. This is the five million dollars owed to the Frane Family. Please check it."
