Chapter 67 Stimulating Play Led to Injury
Lillian bit her lip tightly, tasting the sourness and bitterness in her mouth.
Jackson frowned, pinching her chin and forcing her to let go.
Lillian refused to let go, instead she hugged his neck and bit him.
She wished she could draw blood like last time, and make him hurt, but all she heard was Jackson's cold voice in her ear.
"I came out with you for a while and got hurt by the play. If someone asks later, I won't cover for you."
Lillian froze, hesitating a bit about biting him, but she was unwilling to give up.
Just as she hesitated, two figures passed by the corridor, quickly retreating, their lowered voices reaching her ears.
"Wow, they are playing quite excitingly."
"That guy has long legs and the girl has fair skin. The sexual tension is high!"
"Let's go downstairs."
The voices faded away with footsteps, Lillian's pale face blushing, and she pushed Jackson hard.
"I can go back with you, but you need to call the hospital first."
Jackson carried her down and placed her on the ground.
"I'll ask Terry to make the arrangements with the hospital later."
He held Lillian's hand to leave, but she retracted her hand forcefully.
"You should call Terry now and give him your instructions."
It was obvious she didn't trust him, and Jackson's face darkened.
He endured for a moment, but couldn't hold back, pressing hard on the back of her neck.
Lillian felt unsteady on her feet, taking two small steps on tiptoe and bumping into Jackson's arms.
His chest was firm, and Lillian bumped into him in a daze, not coming back to her senses. Jackson bent down, biting her neck.
His body temperature was higher than hers, the warm touch made Lillian stiffen, closing her eyes tightly.
She was ready to face his retaliation, to endure the pain.
But there was no pain, he was kissing her passionately, the scorching sensation bringing a tingling feeling.
Sensing her stiffness, Jackson's big hand on the back of her neck turned into a gentle caress, his kisses turned into gentle nibbles.
His breath was heavy, brushing past her ear.
Lillian was powerless to resist, leaning against him, tugging at his collar.
Her obedience pleased Jackson. His thin lips curved slightly and his big hand supported her lower back as he took out his phone to call Terry.
"Handle things with Max."
He hung up, then let go of Lillian.
"Are you okay?"
Lillian nodded, and Jackson held her hand.
Lillian forcefully pulled her hand away, shaking him off and walking away. "Go hold Wendy's hand. You don't care about my well-being anyway. Why bother pretending in front of others."
But Jackson suddenly pulled her back, frowning.
"What do you mean I don't care about your well-being?"
"In the pool, didn't you save Wendy and leave me alone?"
Lillian sneered. Jackson pursed his lips. "I taught you how to swim, so I know your swimming skills very well. You were able to kick Wendy away in the water. Why would you need me to save you?
Lillian was stunned. He saw her kicking Wendy away that night.
He didn't ignore her, he just didn't realize she needed help at the time.
Although this made Lillian feel a bit better, the rift between them had already formed.
"Even so, you still chose to save Wendy! You spent the night with her. Did you care about my well-being?" Lillian choked up.
Never mind. She didn't want to say more.
The memories of that night were painful to recall.
She felt like she was struggling in the water in her dreams these past few days.
She shook off Jackson and tried to leave, but Jackson taunted. "You dare to bring it up again! Wendy wanted to call the police, the surveillance at the Sivan family captured you two pulling each other by the poolside. She can't swim. If I didn't stay to handle it, are you ready to be taken to court?"
Lillian was stunned again, so Wendy wanted to call the police that night.
Where did Wendy get the nerve?
She didn't push Wendy at all, why would Wendy threaten to call the police?
Lillian clenched her fists, wanting to scold Jackson for not believing her. How could he end up being deceived by Wendy?
Two more people entered the restroom. Jackson held Lillian's hand and without a word pulled her back into the private room.
When they entered, the atmosphere was lively, everyone was toasting Kevin.
Jackson led Lillian to the sofa area, wanting her to sit next to him.
Lillian turned her wrist, shaking off Jackson's big hand. "I'll sit with Kevin."
She walked toward Kevin and pondered, 'Does he want to embrace me and Wendy from both sides? I won't give him the chance!'
