Chapter 28 She Really Didn't Want To
Lillian lay on the bed, scrolling through her phone, thinking about Kevin's room being cleaned. She decided to look up some info on Kevin.
Tons of news articles popped up.
#Genius Race Car Driver#
#Life of the First F1 Race Car Driver#
#The World's Most Promising Race Car Driver#
#Kevin, 23, who scored a milestone point in his debut F1 season, is preparing to return to his home country#
A smile crept onto Lillian's face as she read, her eyes filled with pride, joy, envy, and longing.
She quickly flipped her phone over and pretended to be asleep when she heard noise from the bathroom.
Jackson walked over, drying his hair, and noticed the light from her phone. He picked it up to turn it off but paused when he saw the webpage.
He glanced at Lillian, who was lying there with her eyes closed, his expression unreadable.
Lillian, with her eyes shut, heard him and tensed up, knowing Jackson must realize she was pretending to sleep.
Feeling annoyed, she wanted to open her eyes but was surprised when Jackson didn't call her out. He put down the phone and seemed to head towards the balcony.
Lillian opened her eyes slightly and saw Jackson's blurry figure leaning against the railing, his robe fluttering in the strong wind, his fingertips slightly crimson.
Outside, lightning flashed and thunder roared. Jackson was actually smoking. When did his smoking habit get so bad?
Without much thought, Lillian closed her eyes again. She hadn't slept well the past couple of days and was exhausted from a full day of classes. She quickly drifted off to sleep. The bed behind her suddenly dipped, but she didn't pay much attention to it.
After all, they had been married for two years. Even if Jackson came back and they were intimate, he would still go to the adjacent room to sleep. Tonight, with Lyra watching, they had to share a bed, but she knew they would sleep separately.
Just as Lillian was about to drift off again, Jackson's strong arm suddenly wrapped around her waist from behind, gently pulling her closer.
Lillian snuggled into the warmth of his embrace. Through the thin fabric, she could feel the heat of his body, the firm and tense muscles of his chest and abdomen.
"Jackson has even taken off his robe!" she thought.
Jackson's slightly rough breath was close to her ear. "Are you asleep?"
Another clap of thunder sounded, the wind howled outside, but the temperature inside the room quickly rose.
Lillian instantly woke up, her heart pounding as loudly as the thunder outside. Feeling confused, she noticed Jackson's lower body pressing against hers more noticeably.
She could feel the intense heat against her waist and hips, her mind in a whirl.
"Jackson, what are you..." She stiffened, her voice trembling.
Jackson's soft lips lingered on the sensitive area behind her ear, his voice husky. "What are you anxious about?"
Lillian tilted her head to avoid his scorching breath. "What do you mean?"
Her evasive movements were somewhat cute, like a willful little cat refusing to cooperate, Jackson thought.
His lips parted slightly as he kissed the sensitive skin behind her ear, his voice incredibly hoarse. "Don't you know what Grandma means?"
In the year after their marriage, Jackson had never touched her. Lillian used to try all sorts of seductive methods, despite her embarrassment. But no matter how revealingly she dressed in front of him, he turned a blind eye. Even when she fell into his arms, the towel slipping off and leaving her naked on top of him, he remained composed. He would only ask if she needed a glass of cold water to cool down.
If it weren't for the sporadic times they had sex, which lasted a long time, she might have suspected Jackson of having some form of sexual dysfunction.
Jackson rolled over and pressed down on Lillian, his strong, masculine scent enveloping her completely.
Panicking, Lillian raised her hand. "No! I don't want this!"
"No? Weren't you accusing me of not satisfying you and threatening divorce? From today on, we'll make up for it. Four times a night enough for you?" Jackson forcefully tore open her neckline.
Lightning flashed across the sky outside the window, illuminating Lillian's small, pale face. Her watery eyes looked pitiful and frightened.
‘She really doesn’t want this,’ Jackson thought.
