Chapter 125 Outsiders Shouldn't Intervene
When Jackson received the message from Lillian, he had already returned to the Peace Mansion.
On the desk, there was a more detailed file on Sean, documenting the girls he had mistreated over the years.
Inside, Jackson could find accounts of both willing and unwilling participants. The contents were rich enough to fill a tome. Astonishingly, Sean was involved in a fatal incident just two years ago.
Jackson's eyes were sullen, unable to imagine what would have happened that night if it weren't for Lillian's smartness.
The silent killing intent lingered until the phone on the table rang. Glancing at the screen, the killing intent gradually disappeared.
Jackson threw the file into the trash can and gave a stern order. "Let him live."
That was living a life worse than death.
"Yes." Harry stood in front of the desk with a solemn figure. He acknowledged and then turned to carry out the order.
Only then did Jackson pick up his phone and open the message.
Seeing that Lillian not only unblocked him but also invited him to meet at a cafe tomorrow, the coldness in Jackson's eyes completely disappeared.
As he was lost in thought, Tina knocked on the door.
"Mr. Jackson," Tina said.
Jackson placed his phone upside down on the table. "Take him to the activity room."
As Jackson approached, Kevin was already waiting. "Jackson, do you want me to exercise with you?"
Kevin pointed at the sports equipment, feeling a bit puzzled.
Jackson remained silent. He walked over, took out a pair of boxing gloves from the shelf, and tossed them to Kevin. He also put on a pair himself.
Kevin was slightly stunned, then smiled. He took off his jacket, put on the gloves, and struck a pose, chin up. "Jackson, you sit in the office all day, but I am a professional athlete. You are not my match now."
Before he could finish his sentence, Jackson was already in front of him.
Kevin staggered back several steps, feeling a pain in his chest.
Before he could catch his breath, Jackson kicked him, causing Kevin to fall to the ground, slide two meters, and hit the wall.
"You talk too much," Jackson said coldly, glaring at Kevin, clenching his fist.
Kevin's eyes sharpened. He jumped up from the ground, clenched his fists, and met the challenge.
However, the fact proved that even with his daily professional physical training, Kevin was still no match for Jackson in boxing.
After being knocked down by Jackson for the eighteenth time, Kevin lay on the ground panting, not getting up to fight back. He took off the boxing gloves and asked, "Do you know about that matter?"
It was a question, but his tone was affirmative.
The reason Jackson specifically called him to be beaten up must be that he knew about the matter, which he and Lillian had kept from him.
Jackson stood there, looking down at Kevin, and said in a low voice, "Not too stupid."
Kevin sat up, rubbing his sore spots. "Ah, Jackson, you hit hard enough. It's because Lillian didn't want me to tell you."
"You didn't say it just because she told you not to, did you?" Jackson sneered.
Kevin felt wronged.
When he fought with Lillian as a child, regardless of right or wrong, Jackson always beat him up.
He didn't expect that after so many years, it was still the same.
No, Lillian married Jackson, and Jackson became even more ruthless.
Kevin didn't know what he had said to provoke Jackson again, but Jackson's gaze towards him became even colder.
"Lillian is my wife! She was involved in such a matter, and you keep it from me along with her, what are you trying to do?"
Kevin felt a bit guilty and scratched his nose. "Jackson, don't be angry. Lillian didn't want you to know because she cares too much about you. She's worried that you might do something irrational as same as you did before."
Jackson sneered. "Should I thank you both for caring so much about me?"
Kevin felt that the conversation couldn't be continued. If it continued, he might end up dead here.
He changed the subject. "As for Sean, he's been having a hard time these days. I had someone give him some medicine, and after the trouble, he's left with half a life. Let's leave it at that. Lillian doesn't want you to know, so just pretend you don't know."
Before he could finish his sentence, Jackson had already stepped out, leaving behind a cold remark.
"The affairs between I and Lillian are none of outsiders' business!"
