Chapter 679
Even though Bianca wasn't hurt too bad, her face was a total mess when she looked up. Her once perfect makeup was now smeared with cream, making her look like a walking art project.
Lucy, meanwhile, shook her off and stormed over to the pregnant Sarah, fuming.
Sarah had been chilling next to Star. When Lucy barged in, Bianca shot Sarah a warning look, and she quickly ducked behind Star.
As Lucy got closer, Star stood up instinctively and said, "Lucy, what are you doing?"
"You little witch, how dare you to stop me?" Lucy, burning with rage, didn't recognize Star, who had been bedridden for three months with broken ribs. She assumed Star was just another gold digger with Sarah.
Grabbing Star's hair with one hand, Lucy raised the other and slapped Star hard, sending her crashing to the ground with a mouthful of blood.
Sarah, with nowhere to hide, let out a terrified scream.
Lillian and Shirley arrived at the door of the private room just in time to witness the scene.
Lillian clicked her tongue. "No wonder Bianca uses Lucy; her impulsive personality is quite handy."
Lucy's husband cheated on her, and she was being used, which was quite pitiful.
But remembering the video where Lucy brought her bodyguards to beat Shirley in the dressing room, Lillian couldn't muster any sympathy.
Lillian found the scene of mutual attacks rather pleasing to the eye.
Shirley's gaze fell on Bianca, who was struggling to get up from the pile of cake, and she smiled. "Lucy is just being deceived. I'll go help her vent her anger."
Several friends rushed over to help Bianca up, completely unaware of Shirley and Lillian at the door. "Bianca, get up."
As Shirley approached, Jenny also came over. Without hesitation, Shirley kicked Jenny in the butt.
"Ah!"
"Ouch!"
"Get lost! Who are you?"
With a few piercing screams, Jenny collided with the three women helping Bianca, causing them all to fall into a heap. Bianca, who had just managed to regain her footing, was knocked down again. When they finally managed to stand up, they were all in a disheveled and pitiful state.
Jenny, wearing a high-end outfit she had bought for Fashion Week, was devastated to see it ruined. She got up, looked at the stains on her clothes, and screamed in frustration, "My dress! Who kicked me?"
Her eyes darted around the room, finally landing on Shirley. She froze momentarily, then her expression twisted with fury as she charged at Shirley, shouting, "Shirley! What are you doing here? You kicked me?"
Jenny raised her hand to hit Shirley, but she was no match for Shirley, who kicked her in the butt again.
Shirley said mockingly, "Here's a free symmetry for you. You're welcome."
Jenny stumbled forward, only to be caught by two friends, preventing her from falling.
By this time, Bianca had also been helped up and was wiping the cream from her eyes with a tissue.
As Bianca saw Shirley, her eyes filled with rage. She was the heiress of Horizon Hive Media, with both status and beauty. Yet, when she went on a blind date with Gray, he outright rejected her.
Bianca remembered bumping into a drunk Gray at a party last week. Seizing the moment, she helped him into her car and took him back to his place. During the ride, Gray clung to her, murmuring, "Don't go," and asked why she was ignoring him and didn't want him anymore.
She was thrilled, thinking Gray secretly liked her but was too proud to show it.
But when she got him home and was about to kiss him, Gray, lying on the couch, suddenly blocked her face, complaining, "Shirley, what perfume are you wearing? It smells awful. Wash it off before you kiss me."
Only then did Bianca realize Gray wasn't talking to her.
Bianca had someone dig into it and found out about Shirley. Just a newly debuted, low-tier actress, daring to steal her man.
Bianca felt utterly humiliated and wanted Shirley out of the entertainment industry. Otherwise, with Shirley constantly around Gray, how could she develop a relationship with him?
So, Bianca pulled some strings to make Shirley a despised figure. Not only did she ruin Shirley's career, but she also made Gray believe Shirley had become Austin's mistress, betraying him. What a win-win.
Seeing the recent online scandals, Bianca was delighted. She thought Shirley would be hiding at home, crying and screaming, but to her surprise, Shirley dared to show up here.
Watching Lucy pulling Sarah's hair and dragging her out, Bianca charged at Shirley and glared at her. "Is all this your doing?"
Shirley smirked and shrugged at Bianca, not hiding anything. "You can fabricate facts and use Lucy, why can't I let her know the truth?"
Bianca was instantly enraged. "Shirley, you're just a low-tier actress. How dare you crash my party? Do you believe I can make you disappear without a trace?"
Shirley smiled. "I do believe. After all, you can easily frame me and make me a target of online hate. Do you think the Horizon Hive Media can control the entertainment industry and manipulate public opinion at will?"
Bianca raised her chin slightly, full of arrogance and disdain. "So what? Shirley, the truth never matters. What matters is what the media and influential accounts show people. Do you think causing a scene with Lucy will help you? Go ahead and try. No one believes you and dares to oppose me and speak up for you!"
At this moment, Star, holding her beaten face, frowned and stepped forward, pulling Bianca aside to remind her, "Someone is recording a video."
Bianca's face changed instantly. She looked towards the door and saw a figure leaning against the wall, holding a phone and recording.
Shirley had been blocking her view, so she hadn't noticed.
"Bitch! Hurry and grab the phone!" Bianca shouted angrily.
Several women rushed over, but Lillian, leaning against the wall, put away her phone and walked forward.
Standing in the backlight, Star and Jenny hadn't seen her clearly.
Now, Lillian's distinct and beautiful face became clear, and both Star's and Jenny's expressions changed.
Jenny pointed at Lillian. "Lillian, it's you! How dare you show up after being dumped."
