Chapter 68 Dare Not Play?
Jackson didn't expect her sudden departure, his face instantly turned gloomy.
Lillian was already sitting leisurely next to Kevin.
Kevin declined two glasses of alcohol, sat down, and snapped his fingers before calling the waiter over and ordering.
"I'll have a glass of warm milk."
The waiter was very efficient and quickly brought the warm milk over.
Kevin took it and handed it directly to Lillian. "Did you feel unwell just now? I didn't know you have a stomach problem."
Lillian took the milk and took a sip.
The warm milk flowed into her empty stomach, making Lillian feel much better.
She turned her head and smiled at Kevin. "Kevin, you're amazing, you've become mature and caring for others."
Kevin was only two years older than Lillian. They had attended the same school from elementary to high school.
When they were in junior high, Lillian skipped a grade, and they were even in the same class. By high school, Lillian became Kevin's senior, but their relationship was quite bad.
They couldn't stand each other since they were kids, and Lillian was often bullied by Kevin behind her back.
It wasn't until half a year before Kevin went abroad that they let go of their past grievances. And their relationship improved due to some incidents.
In Lillian's impression, Kevin was very self-centered and would never care for others.
"Don't underestimate me. I now have female fans all over the world. Can I still be the same as before?"
Lillian raised her eyebrows and clinked her glass with his.
"Milk instead of alcohol, a toast to your dreams coming true!"
There was genuine happiness and melancholy in Lillian's eyes. Her dream of dancing was crushed four years ago.
After having a sexual relationship with Jackson, Daisy thought she was embarrassing and didn't let Lillian go out for two years.
After she married Jackson, dancing was out of the question.
Kevin smiled and patted Lillian's head.
"You can do it too."
"I'm afraid it's too late."
"It's never too late to chase your dreams, trust me."
He raised his glass and drank, making Lillian smile again.
The two of them leaned in to talk, showing a natural and intimate posture.
Jackson leaned over and took a cigarette box from the table, reclining lazily in the leather chair.
He flicked the bottom of the cigarette box with his pale white fingers, a cigarette popped out and was held between his slender fingers. He threw the cigarette box back on the table, making a sound that slightly dampened the atmosphere around him.
However, the two people engrossed in their conversation didn't even lift their heads.
Jackson sneered coldly and was about to look for a lighter.
Beside him, Wendy had already lit a lighter and approached. "Jackson, let me do it."
Jackson stared at her coldly, up close, his incredibly handsome face was dazzling.
His eyes were indifferent, but there was always a lack of interest when looking at her.
The desire to conquer was not unique to men. Such men were also fatally attractive to women.
Wendy's heart was beating fast, her fingers trembling lightly. Just when she thought Jackson would refuse.
Jackson leaned over to the flame, lighting the cigarette.
His cheeks were slightly hollowed, and his facial features were sharp and three-dimensional.
Wendy blushed, feeling hot inside.
But the next moment, she saw Jackson pull down his tie with one hand, and as he did so, he slightly turned his head and exhaled smoke.
The Adam's apple on his neck rolled down, bearing a deep kiss mark.
Her hot heart felt like it was doused with cold water, and her face instantly turned ugly.
Without thinking, she realized who had left that hickey. It hadn't just been there. Had they even kissed passionately just the moment they'd been out?
she looked at Lillian, who was wearing a white T-shirt with a small V-neck, also with a prominent kiss mark on her neck.
Wendy was very angry and very jealous.
As Lillian looked up, she saw Wendy lighting a cigarette for Jackson, the two of them leaning extremely close for a moment.
From her perspective, she even felt like Wendy was about to kiss Jackson.
Her stomach, which had just started to feel comfortable, now felt uncomfortable again.
Their eyes met, and Jackson's thin lips exhaled a swirling white smoke. The smoke blurred his gaze, but his lips carried a faint mocking curve.
Lillian looked away, not thinking about it, but someone wouldn't let her off the hook.
"Ms. Lillian, Ms. Windy, why are you both so quiet? Let's play a game."
It was Cordelia, ready to sing and impress everyone, but Lillian ruined it all.
"Sure! How do we play?" Wendy happily took over.
"Let's keep it simple, roll the dice. The one with the lower number loses. The loser drinks or answers a question."
Lillian found it boring, and Wendy was pregnant, so she couldn't drink at all.
She thought Wendy wouldn't agree, but to her surprise, Wendy accepted and even provocatively looked at Lillian.
"Lillian, are you too scared to play?"
