Chapter 154 Jackson's Bad Mood

In the hospital parking lot, before the car could even park in the parking space, Jackson ordered it to leave the hospital.

The air pressure in the car was at its lowest, and Jackson's expression in the back seat showed no change from usual, but Terry felt a destructive and oppressive atmosphere.

He thought that after Jackson took care of Lillian all night last night, the two of them would reconcile today. But how did things get worse?

Terry was trembling all the way, not daring to say a word. He thought that Jackson's behavior would affect his work, but he didn't expect that Jackson wouldn't even go home to change clothes, but went straight to Star Group.

Jackson immediately entered work mode, and his efficiency in the morning was even higher than ever before.

After finishing the morning work and returning to the office, Terry reported the afternoon schedule. "Daisy just called to remind you not to miss Wendy's solo concert."

Jackson nodded, indicating that he knew.

Terry thought to himself, 'Is Jackson truly intending to go?' He was completely confused. ‘The person Jackson likes should not be Wendy, right?’

He left the office, and Jackson sat for a moment, reaching out to open the bottom drawer of the desk.

The drawer opened, and he took out a brocade box and a diary from inside.

Opening the brocade box, there was an exquisite bracelet inside. Jackson rubbed the bracelet with his fingertips, his eyes showing a hint of gloom.

He suddenly clenched the bracelet, with such force that the veins on the back of his hand bulged, as if he wanted to crush the bracelet.

The out-of-control violent emotion was quickly suppressed, and the bracelet eventually lay back in the brocade box.

Jackson threw the brocade box back into the drawer, accidentally dropping the diary he was holding.

The diary opened. “Today is the 1196th day of loving Kevin.”

The page was full, filled with Kevin's name.

A few drops of tears blurred the writing, revealing the unspoken love and sorrow of a young girl.

Ironically, Lillian's handwriting was modeled after Jackson’s. She used handwriting similar to his to write these words.

He stared at the diary, his eyes filled with gloom. Suddenly, he lifted his foot and stomped heavily on it.

The next day, Mike came to Star Group for a project meeting. After the meeting, he insisted on following Jackson back to the office to have a cup of coffee.

Jackson ignored him and continued to look at the project collaboration proposal.

Terry brought Mike the coffee, but after taking a sip, Mike frowned and put it down, looking at Jackson behind the desk. "What's going on? The coffee here doesn't taste the same as before. Are you deliberately mistreating me?"

He stood up, walked from the sofa area to Jackson's desk, and bent down to take the cup of coffee in front of Jackson, taking a sip.

Jackson hadn't touched his coffee yet, so he didn't pay attention to Mike. But Mike soon furrowed his brows. "It tastes bad. Who made this coffee? Such a waste of good Saint Helena coffee beans."

He put down the coffee cup and continued, "Jackson, did you change your assistant? Where is the person who used to make the coffee?"

Before he could finish his sentence, Jackson slammed the project proposal in his hand on the table and a cold air spread. "Annoying!"

Normally, anyone would have been tactful seeing him like this, but Mike was someone who liked to stir up trouble. He immediately raised an eyebrow. "I see, it used to be Lillian who was responsible for making the coffee, right? No wonder it's different now. Lillian's skills are on par with a professional barista. Jackson, you better hurry up and coax her back for this cup of coffee."

Jackson raised his eyes, his gaze cold. "I'm not in a good mood today, and I want to do something to hurt others. Do you want to try?"

Mike's neck chilled, and he immediately made a zipper motion with his hand on his mouth, then turned and left.

Terry came over to see him off, and as Mike walked toward the elevator while looking at his phone, he couldn't help but gossip. "What's going on between Jackson and Lillian?"

Terry politely smiled and shook his head. It was not that he didn't want to say, but he also didn't know what was going on.

But Mike seemed to see something, paused in his steps, and exclaimed, "Wow, are Jackson and Lillian planning to have an affair with the others together?"

Both of Jackson and Lillian were trending together, and they were not even having affairs with each other.
