Chapter 268 "I Will Forcefully Kiss You!"
However, Shirley found Gray queerand impatiently said, "We did sign an agreement, but it's not illegal. As long as my acting doesn't interfere with your matters, it's fine."
Shirley turned to leave, but Gray grabbed her shoulder again.
Shirley had been waiting for this opportunity for a long time, and Amelia was still waiting. She was worried that being late would leave a bad impression on Otis.
She was thoroughly angry now. She turned around, grabbed Gray by the collar, stood on tiptoe, and threatened with a smile, saying, "Gray, if you say another word, I will forcefully kiss you!"
For someone as pretentious as Gray, Shirley thought this threat was the most effective.
Sure enough, Gray instantly tensed up and shut his mouth.
"Are you scared? Don't worry. I won't touch you," Shirley said.
Shirley thought he either had some issues with his sexual orientation or had a slight fear of women.
Seeing him so timid, Shirley chuckled lightly. She rubbed her thumb on her lips and quickly brushed it against Gray's lips.
Gray's whole body stiffened. Taking advantage of his unresponsiveness, Shirley turned and ran away.
Gray came to his senses, raised his hand to touch the corner of his lips, and found his thumb stained with bright lipstick.
It was sweet, like strawberry flavor.
He thought that she had no self-awareness at all as her lipstick didn't suit her.
"Are you falling for her, or were you just attacked?" Jackson teased. He came out of the private room wanting to smoke and saw Gray standing against the wall.
Gray's clothes were messy, and there was a lipstick mark on his face. Gray looked up, awkwardly straightened his clothes, and said, "How could I have feelings for Shirley? Don't talk nonsense!"
Jackson played with a cigarette between his long fingers, somewhat surprised, and asked, "What is Shirley doing here?"
Given Shirley's relationship with Lillian, it was surprising she didn't go to see her off.
"What else could she be doing? She came with Amelia to entertain! She thinks entering the entertainment industry is easy. She's just asking for trouble! Jackson, I won't talk to you anymore. I..." Gray replied.
He was about to go to the private room to see if Shirley had already gotten drunk and taken advantage of, but Jackson's expression suddenly changed, and a cold, oppressive airsurrounded him.
"Who did you just mention?" Jackson approached Gray and asked in a deep voice.
Gray was a bit startled.
Jackson in front of him had a face as cold as icy, and the cigarette between his fingers had been crushed and fallen down.
"Did Shirley offend you?" Gray asked lightly.
"Not her. Who was the other person you just mentioned?" Jackson asked in a deep voice.
"Amelia? She's just a small star. You shouldn't know her..." Gray replied casually.
"Lead the way!" Before Gray could finish his sentence, Jackson interrupted him in a deep voice.
At Celestial Sky Lounge, when Shirley arrived at the private room, Amelia was already drinking with Otis. She looked at Shirley and said, "Shirley, you came just in time. You're really lucky today. Otis brought some of his treasured wine. Since you're late, you should drink three glasses for a forfeit."
Shirley smiled, took the glass, and said, "Then I must be lucky. Otis, I toast to you."
She tilted her head back and drank three glasses in a row, saying, "Sweet aftertaste. It's good wine!"
Otis was very pleased and said to Amelia, "Amelia, your recommendation for this fourth female lead is not bad."
Amelia quickly said, "Then Shirley and I will toast to you again."
As the private room door opened, Amelia and Shirley were boldly downing another glass. Shirley turned her head and saw Jackson walking in.
His gaze was like a hawk's, fixed on Amelia.
Shirley's smile froze instantly as Jackson walked towards Amelia.
His powerful presence made the entire room fall silent.
Amelia hadn't yet reacted when Jackson's oppressive voice asked, "Ms. Davis, aren't you pregnant? Why can a pregnant woman drink? Are you playing a pregnant woman in this play?"
Shirley's heart skipped a beat, and a word flashed in her mind. Hell!
Jackson was so wise, and he must have guessed that Lillian was pregnant. They couldn't hide it now!
She hoped that Lillian had boarded the plane.
