Chapter 225 You Have Been Felt Wronged These Four Years

Jackson's words made Lillian's eyes suddenly well up with tears as she stared at him.

"What do you mean? Do you also think, like Jenny, that I drugged your drink to avoid marrying Barry?" Lillian asked.

Jackson fell silent, his brow furrowed slightly. His attitude implied that he did indeed think so of her.

Lillian knew that she couldn't explain the incident from four years ago when he was drugged, leading to his continued misunderstanding of her. But she hadn't expected him to think of her in an even more despicable way.

Her eyes were red, but she refused to let the tears fall, biting her lip hard enough to draw blood.

Jackson noticed, raising his hand to touch her cheek, and said in a deep voice, "Let go."

Lillian didn't let go, stubbornly glaring at Jackson.

When Jackson saw that she was about to bite through her delicate lip, he looked at her fiercely, pulled her into his arms, and intended to use his lips to part hers.

At that moment, Lillian released her tightly clenched teeth and fiercely bit down on Jackson's firm jaw.

Her bite was vicious, causing Jackson to grunt as he tried to break free from her.

Sensing his resistance, Lillian directly grabbed Jackson's neck from behind, sitting up from his embrace and biting even harder.

Jackson pinched the back of her neck slightly and only then did Lillian release the mouth. However, by then, a deep tooth mark had been left on Jackson's jaw, oozing with blood.

Jackson touched it, his fingertips stained red, feeling quite annoyed. "Lillian! You're just being ridiculous!"

He wouldn't have been so angry if she had bitten him elsewhere. But she chose to bite his face, leaving such a prominent mark on his jaw. How could he face others now?

His expression turned cold and distant while Lillian, with red eyes, mockingly smiled at him. "Mr. Frane, are you afraid of losing face? Anyway, you were drugged and manipulated by me four years ago, and that was already the scandal in Miracalia. You had lost face long ago!"

After saying this, Lillian turned to open the car door to get out. Jackson's arm reached out from behind, and he directly embraced Lillian's waist. With a tug, he lifted Lillian and let her sit her on his lap.

"Let me go, I want to get off!" Lillian exclaimed.

"Make that clear first," Jackson said in a deep voice.

Listening to his deep voice, Lillian uncontrollably cried. She choked out, "What else do you want me to say? You've already decided that I'm that kind of person. I've explained it more than once, but no matter what I say, you refuse to believe me! If I say it again now, will you believe me?"

Lillian had told Jackson more than once that she wasn't the one who drugged him, but he never believed her.

Jackson's body stiffened for a moment, and his voice was slow and steady as he said, "This time, I'll believe you."

Before, he didn't believe her, thinking she wanted to escape the Hall family's proposal and was afraid to leave the Frane family, so she drugged him. But if Lillian had no idea about the Hall family's proposal four years ago, then it made sense.

Upon hearing Jackson's promise, Lillian looked up. She looked at him with misty eyes, as if trying to make sure he was telling the truth.

Jackson sighed and leaned down to kiss the corner of her reddened eyes. "Let's calmly discuss this and clarify everything."

Soothed by his gentle voice, Lillian nodded and asked, "When did the Halls come to the Frane family? Who was it to? I really have no idea."
