Lillian just gave Anouk a brief glance, then took out her phone and snapped a picture of Anouk.
"What are you doing?"
Anouk frowned.
Lillian rolled her eyes and waved her phone.
"Don't be jealous of me. I haven't been idle all morning. If I post this photo on the company's intranet, even your department manager might envy your leisure, eating desserts and chatting during work hours."
Since Anouk was accusing her of not working properly, Lillian naturally wouldn't be polite to her either.
Anouk immediately stood up and said, "You've misunderstood. I'm here to get the project budget report, but Ms. Fairchild hasn't finished organizing it yet, so she asked me to wait here for a moment. Lilian, are you implying that Ms. Fairchild isn't working properly and is chatting with me?"
Anouk walked up, frowning and staring at Lillian, and continued, "It's one thing to wrong me, but you can't say that about Ms. Fairchild. As far as I know, Ms. Fairchild has always been diligent in her work."
Thalia's last phone call with Ruby clearly showed she was Ruby's person.
Thalia's attitude towards her depended on Ruby's thoughts, so Lillian wasn't afraid of offending Thalia.
After all, no matter how she treated Thalia, Ruby couldn't do much to her.
Therefore, Lillian didn't care at all about Anouk smearing her, and just laughed and said,
"I didn't say anything. You're the one saying Ms. Fairchild isn't working properly, and you're the one defending her." Lillian clapped her hands for Anouk, "Great performance. What do you think, Ms. Fairchild?"

Anouk looked at Lillian, hating why she couldn't have died outside.

Lillian smiled, raised her hand to avoid Anouk's, and waved the file folder in her hand.

Lillian glanced at Thalia, then threw the file folder at Anouk. "Take a good look, see clearly, so you don't put on such a show that I can't stand it."
Anouk instinctively caught the file folder and sneered. "What's this?"
She wanted to see what Lillian was up to, probably just trying to divert attention out of embarrassment.
However, when Anouk opened the file folder and saw the signed contract for Star Group's annual event, her hand holding the document turned white and trembled.
How could this be?
Doris had just said they were kicked out of Star Group yesterday, and Star Group signed with HorizonHive Media today, with Ronnie personally delivering the contract. They had no chance at all.
