Chapter 521 Divorce Agreement

A brand-new divorce agreement was placed in front of Lillian.

"Mr. Frane has already signed. Once you review the contract and confirm everything is correct, you can sign it."

Noah handed the pen to Lillian.

Lillian opened the divorce agreement and looked through it. As expected, Jackson had written that he was voluntarily giving up custody, but it was also clearly stated that Lillian could not date or remarry within five years.

This had already been discussed, and Lillian had no objections.

She noticed the divorce agreement included a detailed property division section over five or six pages.

There were properties, funds, stocks, a long list of registered patents, cash, jewelry, and more.

The amounts were quite substantial. Lillian roughly estimated that the property alone was worth over a hundred million dollars, not to mention the other items.

Additionally, Jackson promised to pay five million dollars in child support every month.

Lillian frowned, closed the divorce agreement, and looked at Noah, saying, "I don't need him to compensate me with these assets, and the child support too..."

Noah interrupted Lillian, saying, "Mrs. Frane, this is your legal right. I don't understand why you would refuse. As for the child support, the normal amount is over 20% of monthly income. Mr. Frane said that by that standard, you might not accept it, so this five million dollars is already the minimum."

Lillian remained silent.

With the divorce agreement in hand, she strongly suspected Jackson was attempting to buy her stay.

She felt uneasy about accepting such a large amount of assets.

Lillian took out her phone and stood up, saying to Noah, "Please have some water. I need to make a call."

She walked to the floor-to-ceiling window and dialed Jackson's number.

Jackson answered quickly, "Have you met with Noah?"

"What do you mean by this? Are you trying to make up for it with these things? Or do you think that by giving me these, I will forgive you? No matter which it is, I will not forgive you!"

Lillian frowned, her voice a bit cold and irritated.

Hearing Lillian's suspicious words, Jackson gripped his phone tightly and loosened his tie.

"It's not about making up. I'm just respecting your decision and seriously divorcing you."

Jackson's voice was calm and emotionless.

"Then why did you ask me to return thirty million dollars last time? Were you just messing with me? You never intended to divorce me, did you?" Lillian asked angrily.

Jackson said helplessly, "I don't care about that little bit of money. You're the one who insisted on the divorce. This is how assets are normally divided in a divorce!"

Lillian felt frustrated as she couldn't find joy in her new wealthy single status.

"Aren't you afraid that I'll spend this money on another man? I only promised not to date, but I didn't agree to any of your other conditions."

"You can try!" Jackson's voice was dark, with a hint of a sneer.

Lillian frowned even more.

Jackson's money was never easy to take.

She said irritably, "Jackson, I came to the Frane family with nothing, and now I want to leave with nothing! I don't want anything from the Frane family or from you!"

"After having an intimate relationship with me and carrying my child, Lillian, how can you leave with nothing? Don't you find it ridiculous to say that?"

Hearing Jackson's mocking and displeased voice, Lillian gritted her teeth.

"I've been scolded by everyone for over ten years. I just want to cut ties with you! Can you stop being so self-righteous? You never consider my feelings and always force things on me that I don't want!"

Besides, once Martin and Daisy find out about Jackson's assets being divided, they'll immediately come to argue with her.

Lillian also didn't believe Jackson's claim that he wouldn't remarry. He might soon be with Star.

Star would not be pleased with Jackson's assets being divided with Lillian, causing endless trouble.

Hearing Lillian's resolute words, Jackson's expression turned gloomy and frustrated. His lips pressed tightly together, and he said coldly, "What you don't want? What you want the least right now is me and my kindness towards you!"

"Yes! That's right!" Lillian responded quickly and firmly.

Jackson's handsome face turned pale in an instant. He closed his eyes, his breathing becoming uncontrollably heavy.

As the two silently confronted each other over the phone, Jackson's office door was suddenly pushed open.

Star walked in with a document, saying, "Jackson, I have a document that urgently needs your signature."
