Chapter 417 Prepare for the Wedding

Lillian was a bit worried. She put Jackson's hand on her belly and whispered, "Will it hurt Taylor?"

Jackson looked up, eyes narrowing as he gazed at Lillian. "You think I'm that intense?"

"What do you mean?" Lillian asked, confused, her eyes soft and clear.

Jackson teased with a smile, "Do you think what I will do intenser than your dance training?"

Embarrassed, Lillian lightly punched his shoulder. "Just be careful."

Jackson's voice turned husky as he whispered in her ear, "I'll prove it again after Taylor's born." His lips trailed down her neck, kisses growing heavier.

Lillian wrapped one hand around his neck, the other running through his short hair. She could tell he was in high spirits, and his mood had been great lately.

She thought, 'Jackson must be excited about our wedding, too.'

Her heart raced, and as their connection deepened, her love grew stronger. She scratched his shoulders and back, whispering, "Honey, let's be together forever."

Jackson's body trembled. He held her tightly, nibbling her earlobe and saying hoarsely, "Yes, forever!"

Hearing his promise, Lillian blushed, feeling a burning sensation in her heart and body.

When they finally got up, they were late. Lillian ate breakfast quickly, and Jackson wiped the milk from her mouth with a napkin, saying, "Slow down. We're already late."

Lillian glared at him.

Jackson smiled softly, visibly relieved and in a better mood. "I'll drive you later."

Lillian nodded. "Okay."

"I reviewed the wedding plans today. Think it's grand enough?" Jackson asked.

Lillian shook her head. "I still have to go to the dance troupe, and I'm pregnant, so I don't have much time. You're busy, too. A wedding is just a ceremony. As long as we invite the people we care about and it's warm and beautiful, it's worth remembering. I think keeping it simple is nice. I don't want to invite the media and make it public."

She looked at Jackson, worried he might disagree.

Jackson stroked her hair, kissed her forehead, and nodded. "Alright, you're the boss."

His tone was indulgent, and Lillian blushed, smiling sweetly at him.

After breakfast, Jackson drove Lillian to the dance troupe. He had Evelyn follow her, instructing her to take good care of Lillian and contact him if anything happened. Then he left in his car.

Lillian, not wanting to delay the dance troupe's schedule, worked extra hard during practice for several days.

That afternoon, just after rehearsal, Lillian got a call from the hospital.
