Chapter 633

Lyra snapped at Martin, "Shut it! Jackson knows right from wrong. It's gotta be Daisy pulling some crazy stunt again!"

Jackson just ignored them, motioned for the doc to follow, and carried Lillian upstairs.

Five minutes later, he came back down.

Before Martin and Lyra could even ask, he told Harry, "Go get Daisy."

Martin's face went dark. "Jackson, what's wrong with you?"

Jackson's eyes went icy as he looked over. "Dad, wait till you find out what she's done before you judge!"

Martin frowned, but Lyra seemed to have a lightbulb moment, her face going pale.

She looked at Jackson, her voice shaky. "Jackson, could it be Lillian..."

Jackson met Lyra's gaze, feeling heavy-hearted, his emotions bottled up, and nodded.

Lyra collapsed onto the back of the sofa, clutching her cane tightly in disbelief.

Martin, still clueless, wanted to ask more, but Daisy showed up.

She looked a mess, hair all over the place, hands tied, and even her mouth taped shut.

Daisy lifted her head and looked at Martin, begging for help.

Martin stood up and yelled, "Harry, what the hell! Let Daisy go now."

As he moved forward, Jackson raised a hand to stop him.

"Dad, do you know why she went to the airport today?"

Martin, annoyed, replied, "What could your mom be doing? She went abroad to chill. She's been stressing every day about Jeffrey's illness. Now that Jeffrey's surgery was a success, what's wrong with her taking a break? Why are you acting like she's running away from something?"

Jackson sneered, "Exactly, she is running away from something!"

Martin's face got angrier, and he slapped Jackson.

"How can you talk about your mom like that!"

Jackson grabbed Martin's wrist and stood up.

"Mom? It is my mom who caused my son's death!"

Jackson was filled with rage and sorrow.

It was the kind of betrayal that felt like a knife in the back from someone he loved.

He really hadn't expected that after all his digging, it would turn out Daisy was the one behind it all.

"Jackson, what do you mean..." Martin looked confused.

"I mean, the one who told Bob to kidnap Lillian, causing her to bleed out during childbirth, was my mom! She's the one who killed Taylor! The crazy part is, after hurting Taylor, she still wanted to take Taylor's cord blood to save Jeffrey!"

Martin's face went pale, looking at Daisy in disbelief.

Daisy, with tears streaming down her face, lowered her head, not daring to meet Jackson and Martin's eyes.

"Jackson, you must be mistaken. Didn't they already find a match for Jeffrey? Wasn't Jeffrey's surgery done with bone marrow from a donor? How could it be cord blood?"

Jackson replied mockingly, his smile cold and piercing. "Shouldn't you be asking yourself that, Dad? That bone marrow donor was found by me and handed over to you in perfect condition!"

Martin was speechless. He pushed Jackson aside and ripped the tape off Daisy's face.

"What's going on? Did you really tell Bob to do that? Are you nuts? With a bone marrow donor, Jeffrey could be saved. Why did you have to go to such lengths?"
