Chapter 807

Star's face was full of sadness and pain, tears falling easily as she deliberately brought up the life-saving grace she had shown Jackson.

Jackson's expression remained indifferent, but Gray, sitting beside him, felt his heart soften.

Seeing that Jackson didn't take the tea, seemingly to embarrass Star on purpose, Gray instinctively shifted, intending to take the tea and place it on the table to give Star an out.

He thought Jackson was probably moved inside. What man wouldn't be touched by a girl risking her life to save him? Star had suffered so much to come back; no matter how many mistakes she made, he should be able to forgive her. He couldn't be completely heartless.

Besides, it was just some rumors. Even if Lillian heard them, it wouldn't hurt her much. There was no substantial harm, so it shouldn't be a big deal for Star.

"Star, you should..."

However, just as Gray moved and raised his hand, Jackson's sharp gaze shot towards him, freezing his actions and words.

Star naturally noticed all this, her face pale, her eyes red and pitiful.

Jackson glanced at her, his eyes still emotionless, and said coldly, "Why are you in such a hurry to cry?"

Star was stunned, mistakenly thinking Jackson was comforting her not to cry. Just as she was about to wipe her tears with a slight smile, she heard him say, "You'll have plenty to cry about later."

Star's expression froze, her face contorting unnaturally.

At this moment, Bianca was brought out by Zoey.

Bianca had received a call from Terry earlier, telling her to stay home and to call Star over. Bianca panicked, knowing her actions had been exposed.

After hanging up, she was at a loss. She called Star but didn't dare to tell her the truth, fearing Star wouldn't come if she knew Jackson was coming to settle accounts.

So she lied, saying she was sick and wanted Star to visit her.

Star agreed, and Bianca felt slightly relieved. But she didn't tell her parents about the trouble she might have caused, leading Oscar and Zoey to misunderstand that Gray was there to discuss marriage.

Now, as Bianca was brought out, she looked to Star for help.

But Star kept her head down, not even glancing at her.

Bianca had no choice but to step forward, "Mr. Frane, Gray."

Gray frowned and raised his hand, "Don't call me Gray. It gives me goosebumps. Bianca, let me say it again. I didn't go on our blind date. We have no relationship, and I have no intention of marrying into the Porter family! Please, don't use my name for anything. The Porter family is not ordinary, and you shouldn't behave like this."

Gray's words were harsh, almost saying Bianca was too forward and couldn't get married.

Bianca's face turned red, and Oscar and Zoey were furious.

"Gray! This is the Porter Manor. Saying such things here is an insult to the Porter family. Do you think the Porter family has no one to stand up for it?"

Oscar slammed the sofa armrest heavily.

Bianca cried, covering her face, heartbroken.

Zoey hugged Bianca, glaring at Gray, "Mr. Flores, you may be distinguished, but our Bianca is not lacking. My daughter is timid and thin-skinned. What did she do to deserve such humiliation from you?"

"She's not timid at all!" Gray sneered.

Whether it was Bianca's previous attempt to blacken Shirley's name online, trying to drive her out of the entertainment industry, or now spreading rumors and manipulating public opinion, none of it was the work of a timid person.

Bianca was bold beyond measure.

Jackson glanced at Terry, who immediately stepped forward and threw a thick stack of documents on the table, saying, "Mr. Porter, take a look at this."

Oscar, already full of doubts, picked up the documents and started flipping through them.

The more he read, the more shocked he became, flipping pages faster and faster, his face growing darker.

The documents not only revealed the leading accounts spreading videos and pictures in employee groups but also included Bianca's transaction records with these people.

There were also records of paying employees to act as internet trolls, guiding public opinion, with clear instructions from Bianca on what to say and how to steer the narrative.

Jackson looked at Oscar with a faint smile. "Mr. Porter, you truly have a daughter capable of inheriting the family business."

His voice carried a hint of cold amusement, and Oscar broke into a cold sweat.

"Bianca must have done this with good intentions."

The evidence was overwhelming, leaving no room for Bianca to deny it.

But Oscar thought that even if Bianca was foolish enough to spread rumors about Jackson, they were based on facts, so it shouldn't be a big deal.

Before he could finish, Jackson sneered, "Good intentions? What kind of good intentions?"

"Bianca and Star are good friends. She just wanted to boast about Star. Besides, publicizing Mr. Frane and Star's deep feelings isn't harmful. Your marriage..."

Oscar was still talking when Jackson's voice suddenly turned cold, "Shut up! It seems not only Bianca but also Mr. Porter wants to arrange my marriage!"

Oscar was shocked, "What do you mean? Are Mr. Frane and Star not..."

Oscar looked at Star, confused about why Jackson was so angry.

Star kept her head down, not daring to meet Oscar's eyes.

But to avoid implicating herself, she bit her lip and said urgently, "Oscar, it's not like that between Jackson and me. Jackson can't let go of his ex-wife and has been trying to win her back. There's nothing between us, and we're not in that kind of relationship. You've misunderstood."

Hearing this, Oscar's expression changed.

No wonder Jackson came in so aggressively, and no wonder Star's hands were shaking when she offered tea, and Jackson showed no pity.

If Jackson was pursuing his ex-wife, then Bianca was trying to manipulate public opinion and morally coerce Jackson into marrying Star.

Realizing this, Oscar felt faint.

Even with mental preparation, he hadn't expected Bianca to be so bold and foolish.

He turned and grabbed Bianca from Zoey's arms, slapping her hard.

"How could you do such a thing, Bianca? Are you crazy? How dare you cry!"
