Chapter 65 Forced to Drink

Lillian was annoyed by Wendy's constant pestering. She raised her eyes to look over.

"Do you want me to show you my phone?"

Wendy feigned pity. "Lillian, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to invade your privacy."

Gray sneered, poured a full glass of red wine, and walked over to Lillian.

"Wendy has always taken care of you, but you are ungrateful and sarcastic. You took away Wendy's life, now you should drink a glass of wine as a punishment, isn't it fair?"

Gray's appearance was a bit rough, but still handsome in a different way. Especially when he was pressuring someone, that fierce look of his made it hard for people to breathe.

Lillian looked at the full glass of wine coldly. "I'm allergic to alcohol, I can't drink."

"Are you allergic to alcohol? How come I didn't know?"

Wendy exposed Lillian, covering her mouth in panic.

Being so low in her methods was not a sign of her declining abilities, but Gray was confident in her.

Gray coldly smirked. "Allergic? Nonsense. Even if you are allergic, you should drink it. If something happens, I'll take responsibility."

If a real allergy led to a fatality, people like Gray naturally could handle the cover-up. In the eyes of these people, what did the joy and sorrow of others matter?

Jackson sat there, coldly watching. Gray was pressuring her, but wasn't Jackson also putting pressure on her?

If she drank this glass of wine, would Jackson let her off the hook, so that the situation at the hospital could be resolved?

But did he know that she is pregnant?

Lillian chuckled, her smile somewhat pale.

She reached out to take the wine glass and stood up.

"I'll drink this glass of wine. Today, I intruded without an invitation, I apologize for my rudeness."

She held the goblet in her slender hand, raised her head, her black hair falling, and drank the wine in one go.

After finishing it, she showed the bottom of the glass to Gray. "Satisfied?"

Lillian's red lips were stained with wine, both charming and pure.

Gray's breath hitched.

Lillian threw the red wine glass at him, and he caught it dumbfounded.

Lillian picked up her bag and left in big strides.

Jackson stared at Lillian's back, his eyes cold.

She said she came uninvited.

He suddenly placed the wine glass on the table, not too forcefully, but the sound made people's hearts tighten inexplicably.

Jackson stood up and followed her out, leaving the group of people looking at each other, confused about the situation.

Lillian went straight into the restroom after leaving the private room, and induced vomiting.

It was painful, feeling like her whole stomach was being turned upside down.

But she had to vomit a bit to make sure the baby wasn't affected.

When Lillian felt like she was about to vomit bile, she rinsed her mouth, sat on the toilet for a while, then walked out covered in cold sweat.

She washed her face and hands in front of the sink, the sore throat from vomiting made her cough violently, wet hair sticking messily to her face.

"Lillian?"

A somewhat familiar male voice sounded behind her, Lillian turned around and saw a handsome young face.

This man was tall, not wearing a suit, but wearing a baseball cap, a Dior casual shirt, a loose jacket, and jeans that perfectly showcased his great figure and long legs.

A young race car driver, exuding a strong hormone-filled aura, like a blazing fire.

His deep eyes and eyebrows bore some resemblance to Jackson, highlighting their cousin's relationship.

"Kevin..."

Kevin patted Lillian's back. "I've only been abroad for a few years. Are you stuttering? I've never heard of this disease persisting into adulthood."

Lillian felt a bit better. "Kevin, long time no see."

Kevin tapped her head playfully.

"Kevin! Did you go abroad to practice boxing instead of racing?"

Lillian accused, and Kevin smiled helplessly.

Seeing her messy hair, he raised his hand to help tuck it behind her ear.

Before his hand could touch her, a large palm suddenly reached out and grabbed his wrist.

Kevin turned his head and saw Jackson's indifferent expression, he smiled and extended his arm.

"Jackson."

The two briefly embraced, and Jackson immediately wrapped his arm around Lillian's waist, pulling her into his embrace.
