Lillian nodded. "Yes, I'm hard to coax! So you shouldn't hide things from me. I'm your wife, not the woman who used to cry in your arms and knew nothing!"
Jackson chuckled, tilted his head to look at her, and teased, "Are you sure? Then who was the woman crying in my arms just now?"
He raised his hand and gently touched Lillian's still slightly wet eyelashes.
Lillian felt embarrassed and angry, hugging him and suggesting, "Jackson, let's find Star together. We can definitely bring her back."
Although Lillian was very jealous of their past, it was Jackson's past.
Jackson had raised Lillian, and she owed him. He owed Star, so Lillian would repay the debt with him.
"Why are you suddenly so understanding?" Jackson smiled and said.
He lowered his head, about to kiss Lillian, when urgent footsteps suddenly came from upstairs.
Adara ran down quickly with a worried look on her face.
Jackson slightly released Lillian, turned around, and asked, "What happened?"
Adara anxiously replied, "I got a call from the hospital, saying Susan's condition has worsened again."
As soon as Adara finished speaking, Jackson's phone rang.
He took it out, and sure enough, it was a call from Dominic.
He answered the call while striding towards the door, and Adara quickly followed.
Lillian was stunned, unable to react for a moment.
