Chapter 685
Lillian got the hint from Star's words, and her brow furrowed a bit.
Back then, Lillian was in a really bad place mentally and acted way too rashly.
In broad daylight, things got so out of hand, but later on, the Price Family and the cops never came after her, and there was no gossip or chatter online or offline.
That whole mess got quietly swept under the rug, and Lillian knew it was all thanks to Jackson.
Now, hearing Star bring it up again, Lillian felt her eyes turn icy.
Lillian chuckled and cut in, "Ms. Price, no need to apologize. Just drink to make up for it."
She walked over to the liquor cabinet, grabbed two bottles of whiskey, and shook them in front of Star and Bianca. "One bottle each, finish it, and you're free to go. Not too humiliating, right?"
"Are you nuts? A whole bottle will kill us!" Bianca protested urgently.
That was whiskey, even guys couldn't handle half a bottle, and Lillian wanted them to down a whole one each. If they did, they'd need to be carried out.
Lillian was being downright cruel!
"You can't do both, my time's too valuable for this." Jackson was clearly fed up and turned to give an order, "Call their dads and have them come over to sort this out."
Having their dads show up would really blow things up.
Jackson was dead set on backing Lillian and Shirley, no matter what.
Star thought of Dominic's unpredictable temper and shivered.
She gritted her teeth, stepped forward, and grabbed the bottle from Lillian. "Fine, I'll drink!"
Even though Bianca was spoiled at home, if her dad found out she crossed Jackson, she'd be in big trouble. She might even get shipped abroad.
With teary eyes, Bianca looked at Gray, still unwilling. "Gray, you know I'm not like those actresses who can handle their liquor. Can you help me out?"
Bianca looked so pitiful and delicate, still trying to play the sympathy card.
Shirley rolled her eyes again. "You can't drink, so let's not drink or apologize. I'll just post that video from earlier online."
Bianca bit her lip. She wasn't scared of Shirley posting the video at first.
Horizon Hive Media had a bunch of media accounts they worked with. Shirley couldn't post such a video on her own.
But now, with Jackson's help, not only could the video be posted, but it could also stay trending for days.
Bianca was genuinely scared. She looked at Gray again, but seeing that he didn't even glance at her and stayed indifferent, she had no choice but to step forward and take a bottle of whiskey.
"Happy now?" After downing a bottle of whiskey, Star felt her stomach churning, her head heavy, and her whole digestive tract burning.
Star glared at Lillian, who raised her hand. "Take care, goodbye."
Star turned and stumbled out.
Lillian gave a nod to the Kelly Family's bodyguard, who followed Star out.
Bianca was carried out directly.
After they left, Gray walked over to Shirley and grabbed her hand. "We need to talk!"
Gray pulled Shirley along, and she looked furious. "Are you out of your mind? Your fiancée just got carried out, and you, a jerk, aren't rushing to check on her. Why are you dragging me? I have nothing to say to you."
Shirley didn't cooperate and even tried to kick Gray's leg.
Gray's foot, which had been poked earlier, started to throb again. He just turned around, bent over, and scooped Shirley up, quickening his pace.
"Shirley!" Lillian took a step forward.
But Jackson stepped in front of her. "Let them sort it out. There must be some misunderstanding."
Lillian frowned. Gray's behavior tonight made her think he was even worse than Jackson used to be. But Gray didn't seem to care much about Bianca either.
Lillian hesitated and then instructed another bodyguard, "Follow them and make sure Shirley doesn't get hurt."
The bodyguard nodded and followed them out.
Lillian looked up at Jackson again. "Thanks for tonight, and sorry for the trouble, Mike. I have something to do, so I'll head out first."
She nodded to Jackson and Mike and then left the private room.
As she disappeared, Mike stepped forward and nudged Jackson with his elbow, teasing. "You did all that, but you didn't dare to speak up yourself and let those women do the talking. But I noticed, Lillian looks at you the same way she looks at me." With detachment and politeness.
Before Mike could finish, Jackson turned to look at him. "Why do you talk so much?"
Mike made a gesture to zip his lips. Jackson didn't allow him to speak the truth. But not saying it wouldn't make self-deception any better.
Over there, as Lillian left the private room, a Kelly Family bodyguard approached. "Miss, she's in the restroom. The people from the Price Family who came with her have also been detained and can't come up for now."
Lillian nodded and walked quickly to the restroom. When she entered, Star was already ungracefully leaning over the toilet, vomiting several times.
Lillian covered her nose, grabbed Star's arm, and dragged her out of the stall.
Star fell to the ground, her face flushed, and glared at Lillian.
Lillian grabbed Star's hair, lifting her face to meet her own. "Star, look at me. Who am I?"
Star's eyes were blurry, but she seemed to recognize Lillian and her expression turned vicious. "Lillian! You bitch, why aren't you dead yet? Go die!"
Seeing that Star recognized her, Lillian smiled, her eyes gentle. "How could I die? Not only will I live, but I'll also live well with my Taylor. Look, I'm about to give birth. Do you think I'll have a girl or a boy?"
When Lillian came in, she had something stuffed in her belly, making her look pregnant.
Lillian placed Star's hand on her bulging belly, but Star suddenly pulled her hand back, her eyes widening in horror as she looked at Lillian's stomach.
Star shouted, "Taylor? No, no, your child won't be born. Haha, he will die! Stop dreaming!"
Even though Star was drunk and incoherent, she still remembered this matter.
Lillian suddenly clenched her fist, her whole body filled with a cold killing intent.
Even after four months, Star's words still pierced every nerve in her.
Lillian suddenly grabbed Star's collar. "How do you know my Taylor won't live? Did you and Dominic do something?"
Lillian made Star drink, hoping that in her drunken state, she would reveal the truth.
However, Star suddenly went crazy and pushed Lillian away forcefully. "He's dead, haha, Taylor is dead!"
Star used all her strength, causing Lillian to stumble backward and trip, falling. She instinctively closed her eyes, bracing for the pain of the fall.
But instead, she fell into a man's warm, broad chest, and a familiar large hand wrapped around her waist, holding her steady.
