Chapter 142 Jackson Also Left Her

Lillian nodded, took a step forward without looking back, and quickly left Golden Oaks Manor.

Daisy's body swayed, being protected by two servants.

At this moment, Jeffrey ran out of the villa. He had just taken medicine and was sleeping.

"Where is Lillian? Why did Lillian leave?"

"Don't mention her! Do you want to anger me too?"

Daisy scolded angrily. Jeffrey looked at the messy flower beds with the water on the ground, and Mary crawled out of the muddy flower bed.

Jeffrey opened his mouth and said, "Mom, Lillian was raised by Jackson after all. Lillian was influenced by his character. She may not be a big demon, but she is a little devil. She used to pretend to be too good, even fooling you, right?"

Even her beloved son was angry at her, Daisy stepped forward to chase Jeffrey.

Seeing the situation was not good, Jeffrey turned around and ran.

"Calm down, I will go find Jackson and bring Lillian back to apologize to you."

He ran off in a hurry, leaving Daisy helpless. She ordered the servants to drive Mary out and quickly clean up the mess in the courtyard.

Jackson's room was in another direction of the courtyard, and the house had good sound insulation.

Although he heard some commotion outside, he didn't know what was happening.

He wanted to go out, but Wendy was holding him back, claiming she was feeling unwell and scared.

Wendy's pregnancy had been unstable, and she had almost miscarried once before in the hospital. The doctor had not arrived yet, so Jackson reluctantly stayed with her.

At this moment, Jeffrey ran in from outside, looking panicked.

"Jackson, something bad happened! Lillian and Mary got into a fight in the yard. Mary, relying on being Lillian's birth mother, hit Lillian hard and made her cry and run away. Jackson, where are you going? Take me with you!"

Before Jeffrey could finish his sentence, Jackson's tall figure had already rushed out with determination.

"Jackson!" Wendy anxiously sat up and called out, but Jackson was too fast for her to catch or stop.

Feeling resentful, she bit her lip and glared at Jeffrey.

Jeffrey turned around, catching Wendy's expression before she could hide it.

Making a face at her, Jeffrey said, "You're ugly! Don't bother, Jackson doesn't like you."

Wendy's chest heaved with anger, gripping a pillow, almost unable to resist throwing it at him.

To her surprise, before she could do anything, Jeffrey let out a cry as he sat on the ground.

Before Wendy could react, Daisy entered with the servants. Jeffrey was lying on the ground, his eyes welling up with tears and his nose running.

"Mom, Jackson left, and Wendy took it out on me, pushing me down."

Daisy loved Jeffrey, her youngest son, especially since he was sick. She immediately checked on Jeffrey's condition, glaring at Wendy with anger.

Wendy waved her hand. "Daisy, I didn't push Jeffrey. I didn't even move while sitting on the bed. I know Jeffrey likes Lillian and dislikes me. I'm sorry, I'll leave now."

Concerned about her child, Daisy realized it must have been Jeffrey causing trouble and gave him a stern look.

"Jeffrey, go back to rest! Wendy, you rest as well. The doctor will be here soon."

"Okay, I'll listen to you." Wendy's obedient appearance made Daisy even more satisfied.

Lillian walked out of Golden Oaks Manor, walking faster and faster.

Her vision blurred, and she stumbled, falling heavily to the ground.

She instinctively clutched her abdomen. Without elbow support, her knees hit the ground hard, causing her to curl up in pain.

She had just sprayed Mary with a water gun, so she also had gotten wet.

As the wind blew, she felt a chill all over her body.

She wondered if she was really that worthless, unworthy of love.

When she was young, York loved her so much. But as soon as he found out she wasn't his child, he abandoned her.

Her biological parents showed her no love at all.

Max was good to her, but he ended up in a vegetative state. Lyra cared for her, but she was Jackson's grandmother, a member of the Frane family.

In the past, Lillian never felt upset because she had Jackson.

With Jackson, Lillian felt like she had faith and the whole world.

But in these four years, her world had been slowly crumbling.

Now, even Jackson was leaving her. He no longer wanted her, just like everyone else.

Just as the world seemed to be collapsing and burying Lillian completely, a voice suddenly rang out above her head.
