Chapter 1006 The Powerful Abella
"Abella, have some more," Victoria said, piling more food onto Abella's plate. "Try the dishes I made."
"These two were made by Andrew. You should try them too," Andrew added, his tone warm and affectionate.
It was the first time Armando had seen Andrew show such care for someone other than Victoria, especially someone younger.
"These are my dishes. Give them a try," Ryan said.
"Thanks, but it's too much. I can't finish all this," Abella said, her plate already piled high.
"Abella, you performed Ryan's heart surgery and cured Savannah's illness. We are forever grateful," Armando and Lyric said, standing up and raising their glasses to toast Abella.
"Abella is still young; she shouldn't drink," Ryan and Savannah said in unison.
Phillipe poured a little lemon water into Abella's empty wine glass, careful not to give her too much before the meal.
Abella stood up and watched as the two elders finished their drinks. "You're too kind. Saving lives is my duty. I toast to you," She said warmly.
She downed the lemon water in one go, and Armando and Lyric smiled, clearly pleased with her.
Everyone continued to encourage Abella to eat more.
"Abella, this dish is called 'Smooth Sailing.' It symbolizes a smooth and successful future," Rainey said, placing two large shrimp on Abella's plate.
"And this one is called 'Attracting Wealth and Treasures,' wishing you prosperity," Rainey added, giving her two abalone.
"And these others..." Rainey continued, adding more dishes to Abella's plate. "May you always be happy, lucky, and successful. Most importantly, may your relationship with Phillipe grow sweeter and stronger."
"Thank you," Abella said, noticing that Rainey's previous hostility had turned into respect and admiration.
Could it be because of what Phillipe said earlier? Abella glanced at Phillipe, but his expression remained unchanged.
"Abella, try it and see if you like it. If not, I'll get you something else," Rainey said, eager for Abella to accept her gesture and impress Phillipe.
"Rainey, you're being so nice today," Savannah said with a smile. "You should learn from Abella. Her virtues are countless."
"The moment I saw Abella, I knew she was extraordinary!" Rainey exclaimed, watching Phillipe peel shrimp for Abella. It was clear Abella was special to him.
Phillipe peeled the shrimp and fed it to Abella.
"Delicious," Abella said.
Rainey finally relaxed, feeling that Abella had accepted her gesture.
"Abella, I can peel shrimp too. Let me peel some for you," Rainey said, wiping her hands and starting to peel shrimp. "I can peel just as well as Phillipe."
"Abella, eat more," Jerry and Elara chimed in.
"You all should eat too," Abella said, serving food to everyone, including Phillipe.
"Abella, I heard you're the top student with a perfect score and hold the title of Medical Authority," Lyric said, surprising Rainey, who paused mid-peel.
The family knew Abella was the renowned Medical Authority, but they didn't know she was also the top student with a perfect score.
She had studied abroad, and they knew how tough the exams were.
They were amazed that Abella had achieved a perfect score.
"Guess what other identities Abella has?" Ryan teased, seeing everyone guess incorrectly before revealing, "She's also the painter Cordelia and the calligrapher Magnolia!"
Armando, Lyric, and the others were astonished.
Even the usually composed Elara and the calm Jerry were shocked by Abella's talents.
"That's not all. Abella is also Anika," Savannah said with a smile. "The ringtone on my phone was composed by her."
"Mine too," Ryan added, beaming.
He had felt a bit left out when Savannah had Abella's piano piece as her ringtone, but Abella had promised to compose one for him, too, and she did.
"My friends all say the melody is beautiful and unique. I tell them it's composed by my grandson's fiancée, and they can't find it online. They're so envious!" Ryan said proudly.
Abella had composed it just for him!
"Abella is truly remarkable, so young yet so talented," Lyric said warmly. "We're lucky to have her join the Bourbon family."
"Yes, Abella is both capable and humble. I like her very much," Victoria said, adding more food to Abella's plate. "Eat while it's hot, Abella."
Jerry was amazed that the elegant Abella had so many identities.
He had admired Anika's piano pieces and Cordelia's paintings, never imagining they were the same person.
He had often wanted to meet these masters, and now he found out they were the same person and Phillipe's fiancée.
Watching Abella, Jerry felt a bit wistful.
Elara, who hadn't been impressed by anyone in a long time, was pleasantly surprised and impressed by Abella's many talents.
Rainey, stunned, finally placed the peeled shrimp in Abella's bowl. "Abella, you're incredible. No wonder Grandma said your virtues are countless. You're truly admirable."

After dinner, everyone moved to the living room, where Savannah had arranged for actors, magicians, and singers to perform.
Some acts had everyone laughing, while others left them amazed.
Phillipe watched Abella's smiling face, his own lips curling into a smile.
