Chapter 1052 Abella Didn't Break Molly's Bones?

Abella wiped her hands and looked down at the person on the floor, her voice icy. "I thought you had some skills, acting all high and mighty, but this is it? Next time, before you strut around, weigh your worth first. Don't come out and embarrass yourself so easily. You might not care about your reputation, but your family does."

Molly bit her lower lip and struggled to stand up.

"Need me to give you the Bourbon family's number so you can call and complain? Or my family's? Pick whichever you want."

Molly was furious, not expecting that Abella would be so arrogant!

Rainey, watching from the side, was full of admiration. Abella was so cool and fierce!

"Since you don't want to call," Abella took out a check from her bag and tossed it to her, "fill it out however you like. Consider it your medical expenses, and maybe see a neurologist while you're at it."

Molly was seething with anger.

"Still not leaving? Want to go another round?" Abella said coldly.

Hearing this, Molly immediately turned and left.

"Abella, you're so cool!" Rainey admired.

Just then, a waiter knocked on the door and brought in the food. "Abella, should we switch to another room to eat?"

"No need, we'll stay here." Abella noticed Rainey's mood had improved significantly.

"Abella, you should eat more." Rainey picked up a fork and started putting different foods on Abella's plate, sharing enthusiastically. "Our family is often compared to Phillipe's family. I know there's a lot of talk out there. People think our family isn't doing as well as Phillipe's family."

Rainey continued while eating, "Whenever both our families attend an event, guests flock more to Phillipe's family than to us. Even in joint meetings, the executives tend to listen to Phillipe's family more than ours..."

Rainey poured more water for Abella and continued, "Actually, our families have always been close, unaffected by these outside voices. But growing up hearing all this gossip, feeling the stares and the different treatment, it's hard to say it doesn't affect me..."

To everyone else, their family seemed to be doing worse than Andrew's family. Phillipe had become the richest man in the world, while their family hadn't achieved the same level of success.

"Don't pay attention to them. Let them talk. As long as they see they can't hurt you, they'll eventually get bored." Abella gently advised, "Family unity is more important than anything."

Just then, Rainey's phone rang.

Rainey saw it was Phillipe calling and immediately looked at Abella for help. Could it be that Molly had already gone to complain to Phillipe?

Rainey reluctantly answered the call on speaker. Phillipe's amused voice came through. "How's the food?"

Rainey was terrified. "Did Molly already tell you where we are? Phillipe, we really didn't do anything wrong. Molly tried to buy your relationship with Abella with money. I told her to leave, but she refused and said a lot of hurtful things. Abella couldn't stand it anymore and just lightly slapped her, like a breeze."

Hearing her words, Abella was speechless.

Molly's face was visibly swollen with five clear finger marks. The marks on her neck were also very noticeable.

"Is the McCoy family giving you trouble? I'll take responsibility for everything. It has nothing to do with Abella. If you have to give them an explanation because of our families' relationship, just punish me alone!" Rainey took all the blame.

"I just heard from Gabriel that you were having dinner and thought I'd join you." Phillipe's words made Rainey's eyes widen, so Molly hadn't complained to Phillipe.

So she had just confessed everything.

"Did she bully you?" Phillipe had already figured out what had happened and was even more displeased with Molly.

"Phillipe, we didn't tell you because we didn't want you to worry. Not just me, but Abella was also bullied! Molly was really out of line!" Rainey immediately felt wronged.

"Abella didn't break her bones?" Phillipe asked coldly.

"What?" Rainey was confused. "No, no, it was just a light slap, like a breeze."

"Then Abella was already very respectful. We can explain it to the McCoy family."

Did that mean if Abella had really fought, it would have been broken bones or serious injuries? Was she that fierce?

"Give the phone to Abella."

Rainey obediently handed the phone over.

"Abella." Phillipe's voice came through, gentle, "With me, you don't have to hold back."

Rainey's eyes widened. Was Abella really that violent?

"If you injure someone, I'll handle it."

"I didn't have much strength because I hadn't eaten yet," Abella joked.

"Does your hand hurt?"

"No," Abella smiled, "I'm not the one in pain."

"That's good. Did Rainey order enough food for you?"

"She didn't order. I did."

Rainey couldn't help but interject, "Phillipe, I'm very generous! I'm only stingy with you!"

She muttered to herself, 'It's because you always punish me!'

"Then be generous and invite me too. I'll be there in ten minutes."

"Phillipe, can you give Abella some personal space?" Rainey finally had a chance to be alone with Abella, and now Phillipe was butting in.

"Did you help her when she was fighting?"

"What? No, I didn't."

She was too stunned at how cool and fierce Abella was!

"You didn't protect her, and you still have the nerve to talk? If I don't come, what if someone else bullies her?" Phillipe's reasoning left her speechless.

"Abella, you can hang up now." Phillipe's voice softened again.

Abella ended the call decisively.

Rainey watched in awe as Abella picked up her fork and started eating, admiring her even more.

Usually, it was Phillipe who hung up on them. They had never hung up on Phillipe before.

Half an hour later, a waiter brought over a tablet and respectfully said, "Good evening, your total is twelve thousand four hundred sixty-four dollars. Will that be cash or card?"
