Chapter 288 Dragging it out
"Dad!" Remy painfully moved backward, not daring to believe that his father really intended to harm him.
"Which hand did you touch her with?" As his father approached step by step, Remy's voice trembled with tears.
"Dad, I won't dare anymore..."
"I asked you, which hand, did you touch her with!!"
"Dad!!" Remy was trembling with fear, tears streaming down his face. A scream echoed through the garden, piercing the sky.
Phillipe covered Abella's eyes and spoke gently, "Don't look."
Abella removed his hands and saw Remy's hand covered in blood. Although the tendons in his hand weren't severed, there were long scars on his arm. Ordinary doctors probably couldn't help, and the scars would remain for a lifetime.
"Mr. Bourbon, I hope you're satisfied with the outcome..." After finishing his actions, Mr. Hamilton, didn't first check on his son's injuries, but immediately bowed to Phillipe for instructions.
Seeing his humble and respectful appearance, Phillipe's voice remained as cold as ever. "You're asking the wrong person."
Mr. Hamilton quickly bent down and turned to Abella. "Abella, do you think this is enough? Can you let us go...When we get home, I will continue to discipline him!"
"Hmm." Abella replied indifferently, "Let's go."
Mr. Hamilton immediately lowered himself even more. "Thank you, Abella. Then, we'll leave now..."
Isla pretended to help Remy, but before she could touch him, Mrs. Hamilton shoved her away. "You bitch, it's all because of you!"
Isla looked bewildered. "Mrs. Hamilton..."
"If it wasn't for you fooling Remy, why would he go looking for Abella, wanting to avenge your whole family?"
Mrs. Hamilton and her husband helped Remy up, wishing they could strangle the bitch, Isla. The Wilson couple, signaled their daughter, not to get involved anymore and were about to leave when they heard.
Phillipe said, "Wait a moment."
The Hamilton family immediately turned back, thinking that Phillipe was changing his mind again, and their faces turned pale.
"Mr. Bourbon..." Didn't Abella promise to let them leave?
"I didn't tell you to leave."
Realizing that Phillipe was talking to the Wilson family, the Hamilton’s breathed a sigh of relief and hurriedly left with their son. Mr. Wilson anxiously looked up at Phillipe, his tone filled with humility and flattery.
"Phillipe, is there something else you need?"
Phillipe didn't answer his question but looked at Violet. "Violet, lend me a few people."
He only brought his secretary tonight, so he was short on staff.
Violet replied readily, "No problem, use anyone you want."
Phillipe spoke coldly, without bothering with pleasantries. "Take them away and give them a beating."
The secretary immediately stepped forward and first captured Mr. Wilson's arm. Violet waved her hand, and several bodyguards immediately stepped forward to apprehend the others.
"Mr. Bourbon, is there some misunderstanding? Tonight's incident has nothing to do with us... Let us go, release us..."
"Clearly, it was that kid from the Johnson family who bumped into Abella. We didn't do anything... Let us go, let go..."
"Abella, say something, Abella..."
As soon as Abella heard Isla's voice, she felt annoyed. Phillip noticed a hint of anger in her brows and added, "Teach that girl a lesson, it will help her learn while she's young."
Abella was somewhat surprised. She didn't expect Phillip to perceive her emotions and even ask for Isla to be beaten more.
The surrounding guests were amazed. They didn't expect to witness so much gossip at tonight's charity banquet. Seeing the Wilson family being dragged away, Violet walked to the center of the stage, raising her mature feminine charm with a smile.
"I announce that tonight's charity banquet has concluded successfully. Thank you all for attending!"
The guests once again expressed their surprise, saying "If anyone asks tomorrow, I'll say that the donation segment tonight was impressive!"
"That's right, the Wilson family is really stingy. I must bring this up..."
"Besides that, nothing else seems to have happened, right?"
"I only remember the donation segment..."
"Me too."
"I drank too much tonight; I probably won't remember anything tomorrow..."
...
Violet saw that their will to stay was still strong, so she smiled and said, "Then I won't see you all off."
"Violet, please stay."
"Goodbye."
"Until we meet again."
...
From the back garden, the Wilson family's voices could be heard. Their screams echoed, but the other guests seemed oblivious, chatting and laughing as they left the garden. No one dared to get involved in the Wilson family's troubles.
"Abella, is this your fiancé?" Violet reached out her hand and shook hands with Phillipe, wearing a triumphant smile of successful womanhood.
"Hello, Violet."
Violet smiled and looked at Abella again. "I can't wait to attend your wedding!"
"Not so fast." Abella didn't refuse, surprising Violet a little with her response.
"Today has been quite a trouble for Violet," Mr. Medici, also didn't expect the charity banquet to turn out like this.
"What trouble? It's because it's our own turf that we can vent our anger for Abella better, isn't it? I was actually thinking of finding an opportunity to teach them a lesson."
"When you have time, we should visit each other again." Mrs. Medici hugged Violet warmly and extended an invitation. "You are welcome to come to our home as well."
"I will definitely come when I find the time. I'll make sure to visit you." Violet, hugged back, before hugging Abella.
"Be careful with those three." Abella reminded them, not wanting them to take things too far.
"Don't worry, we'll leave them some face! I actually want to see them go bankrupt; it would be amusing."
Seeing Violet's excited expression, Abella couldn't help but laugh. "Well, we should be going."
"Remember to come visit your aunt!" Violet couldn't help but nag. "And occasionally, give me a call! It's always me calling you."
"I know," Abella said.
"And drive safely on your way back." Violet escorted them to the door.
Mrs. Medici suddenly interrupted, "Oh, I just remembered that I have something to attend to. Abella, can you get a ride back with Phillipe. The chef isn't feeling well tonight, and there's no one to prepare supper. You and Phillipe can grab something to eat at a restaurant, right?"
Abella thought that the hint, was a little, too obvious. They just want the two of them to spend more time together, have supper first, and then go back.
"I will take good care of Abella," Phillipe immediately agreed.
Abella just shook her head, with a smile on her face.
