Chapter 351 Spitting Blood

The drug was procured by Lucine from an outside source; it couldn't possibly be defective. As long as Abella and the others drank it, even if they got beaten up, after waking they wouldn't know who was responsible.

Thinking this, the corners of Lucine's lips curled into a triumphant smirk.

In the resting area, Abella gracefully lifted her swan-like neck, gulping down several drinks of water.

Her actions were elegant and majestic, a delightful sight like frames from a carefully edited movie.

It wasn't just the boys; even the girls next to Lucine were mesmerized.

One had to admit, Abella exuded a sophisticated beauty, capturing attention with every gesture.

"Dying of thirst!" Clare emptied her water bottle and then turned to Abella, "Let's go buy some water, shall we? This heat is unbearable!"

"I'll go with you. I'm out of tissues anyway, and there's a small supermarket at the foot of the mountain."

"Me too, me too."

Lucine saw the four of them gathering together, a perfect opportunity provided by the heavens themselves!

She had concocted numerous excuses to lure them to a deserted spot to execute her plan.

But now, it was all falling into place!

Even the heavens seemed to be aiding her!

"Lucine, they've left. Should we follow them?"

"They're heading to the back mountain; they'll surely pass through that little path, where there's no surveillance!"

"This is our chance."

Lucine smiled smugly, "Follow them."

On their way, Abella and her three friends were chatting and laughing until they reached that path. Suddenly, Abella stopped, rubbing her temples with her hands.

"What's wrong, Abella?" Clare asked anxiously. "Are you feeling alright?"

"My head... feels dizzy." Abella seemed unable to stand firm, reaching out to steady herself on a nearby tree trunk, "Why is everything getting so blurry?"

"Me too.” Joanna leaned against the tree, unable to help shaking her head, "Why is everything going out of focus?"

"What's happening?" Before Clare could react, she saw Josie collapse to the ground, "Josie, what's wrong with you?"

Josie had fainted and Clare thought to herself: Wow, what an act, would you be interested in joining the Nan Entertainment Company after graduation?

Then, Clare also feigned distress, "I'm so dizzy, what's happening to us? Could it be heatstroke?"

"At last, you fall into my hands!" Seeing them dizzy and fainting with no power to resist, Lucine approached with pride, "How about it, not bad for my drug, huh?"

"Lucine, you..." Clare pretended to be angry, yet incapable of fighting back, "What in the world have you done to us!!"

"Hah... of course, I've drugged your water." Lucine smirked coldly, "Today, we'll settle both new and old grudges!"

"Lucine, how about I take care of you right now?" The short-haired girl beside her pointed at Clare.

"No rush, give them another minute, and they'll obediently close their eyes."

It's better to move after they've fainted, otherwise, their screaming could be troublesome.

Time ticked by, second by second.

One minute passed!

As Lucine lifted her gaze, her smirk of triumph barely forming, she suddenly saw Abella standing up!

What's going on? Has the drug worn off so quickly?

"Got it, got it!" Josie, who was supposed to be unconscious, took out her phone and looked at it, exclaiming happily, "Oh yeah, perfect!"

Not just Abella, the other three girls suddenly stood up as if nothing had occurred and watched Lucine with interest.

Now it was Lucine's turn to be confused!

"You… You didn't drank the water from the bottle... Impossible!!"

Lucine had clearly seen them drink it, especially Clare, who had finished all the water in her transparent cup!

"Lucine, could it be that the drug... wasn't strong enough?"

But... It seemed like Abella and the others saw through the plot first.

"And Josie seems to have recorded a video..."

In the video, Lucine admitted she drugged their water.

"That doesn’t matter now. The monitors aren’t watching here. At Lucine’s command, “Beat them up, snatch their phones, and delete everything!”

If this gets to the drill instructors, the worst I'd do is cry and staunchly deny everything. Who hit whom won’t matter; there are no cameras here. It’s all up to what they claim.

"Overestimating yourselves," Abella glanced at her friends, gesturing for them to step back. She then lazily looked at Lucine and her group, "Come at me together."

She didn’t want to waste time.

"Arrogant fools!" Lucine, who had picked up a few useful moves from her brother recently, was ready to show off her skills.

But then watching one friend after another get knocked down by Abella.

This isn’t combat!!

It doesn't look like taekwondo either.

Could Abella have learned Sanda?!

With such thoughts, Lucine gripped her fists, torn between stepping forward and retreating.

After Lucine’s four friends got beaten up by Abella, they hid behind Lucine and urged, "Lucine, use your trump card to deal with her! She's too much!"

Abella raised an eyebrow, looking at Lucine with an air of nonchalance, as if waiting for her to make a move.

"Let's do this." Lucine stammered, speaking with little confidence, "If you beat up the four of us; we’ll call it even, and we won't pursue it further. But you have to delete that video you just took."

“Is Lucine showing weakness?” Lucine’s friends wondered

“Are you insane?? Making demands when you can’t even fight?” one of Abella’s crew said

"Less nonsense, come here." Abella clearly had no intention of letting her off, tilting her chin as a sign for Lucine to approach.

The gesture was both cool and bold. Just when everyone thought Lucine would rush forward and fight, she suddenly bent at the waist, bowing at a ninety-degree angle, "I'm sorry, I was wrong! I want to apologize to you!"

Everyone was baffled by this maneuver.

“Is Lucine apologizing to Abella?”

“Is it because she knows she can't win, so she's submitting?”

Suddenly, Lucine swiftly raised her head, using the hairpin she had removed from her hair to slash at Abella's face.

Everyone gasped, but it was too late! "Abella, watch out!"

Had Abella seen Lucine hiding the hairpin in her hand all along, pretending to apologize just to scratch her face?

With just a kick, Lucine was sent flying several meters away, hitting a tree trunk hard, and falling to the ground.

Lucine spat out a mouthful of blood and her friends were completely stunned.

"Lucine, are you okay?"

"Abella, you went too far! You actually made Lucine spit up blood!"

Do you know who Lucine is? Have you heard of the Allen family from New York? They have been close friends with the Bourbon family for years!"

"Let me tell you, today you have offended not just the Allen family, but also the Bourbon family!"

"Lucine, don't be scared, I will help you to the school clinic. Let's get a doctor to have a look."
