Chapter 976 Departure

"Alright, enough fooling around." Abella's gaze swept over her brothers with the patience of someone watching unruly children, finally settling on Dennis. "We can't leave yet. The Down Royale still hasn't been located, and there's one last garment to finish."

Dennis mentally kicked himself—how could he have forgotten about this? He wondered if his people had managed to track it down...

"What's this Down Royale?" Steven and Ethan asked in unison.

Was their sister in some kind of trouble? Why hadn't she told them?

Just then, Dennis's phone rang. His voice carried a note of relief as he answered, "You found it? Already sent to QY? Excellent work."

After hanging up, he turned to Abella. "The Down Royale's been located. I've had it delivered to QY."

"Thank you, Dennis." Abella's face lit up immediately. "I need to go check on it."

"I'll drive you!"

Watching Dennis trail obediently behind Abella, Steven, Ethan, and Winston exchanged puzzled glances. There was clearly something going on between those two—something the three older brothers weren't privy to.

When had the fourth brother and their sister become so close? Since when did they share secrets that excluded the rest of them?

Following Abella to QY, Dennis was struck by the sheer grandeur of his sister's empire. More importantly, he noticed how genuinely beloved she was—everywhere she went, people greeted her with respect and affection that felt authentic rather than forced. It wasn't the fearful deference of subordinates to a superior, but something warmer, almost like friendship.

"Ms. Medici, it's been too long!"

"Ms. Medici, you're finally here! You look even more radiant than usual!"

"Ms. Medici, who's this handsome gentleman?"

Abella graciously introduced Dennis as they made their way to the production floor. When Jack spotted Abella personally overseeing the progress, he hurried over. "Ms. Medici—"

His words died in his throat when he noticed the legendary Dennis trailing behind her. The same Dennis Medici known throughout the city for his ruthless reputation now followed his sister like a devoted puppy, completely transformed from his usual intimidating persona.

"Mr. Dennis! What an honor to have you here as well," Jack quickly greeted him.

"Don't mind me, carry on with your work," Dennis replied, wandering off to explore. QY's production facility spanned ten floors, each dedicated to different specialties—one floor exclusively for hats, another for shoes, and so on.

The floor where Abella worked was reserved for top-tier VIP clients, and the precious Down Royale had just arrived. Dennis watched his sister meticulously oversee every detail, personally ensuring the down jacket's completion to perfection.

He silently vowed to spare her such burdens in the future, to make her life easier somehow.

"Mr. Dennis, your tea has gone cold. Let me bring you a fresh cup," Jack offered, approaching with refreshments.

"Help my sister instead. I don't need any special attention." Dennis immediately carried the tea over to Abella. "Here, take a break and have some tea. You've been working non-stop for hours."

After Abella took a few sips, she said, "I need to inspect the finished pieces in the quality control room. Wait here for me."

Despite three rounds of quality checks, these garments were destined for a princess—Abella wanted to personally ensure everything was flawless.

Dennis hadn't realized that a few garments could demand so much of his sister's energy. While waiting, he pulled out his phone and texted Saskia: [How can I help Abella when she's this busy?]

After a moment, Saskia replied: [The best way to help her is to not interfere. Just being there is enough.]

Dennis typed back: [I see. Did you make it home safely?]

Saskia: [I came to corporate headquarters instead.]

Dennis wrote with genuine concern. He texted:[You and Abella are both such driven women. Don't burn yourselves out at such a young age.]

Saskia responded: [Work keeps us fulfilled.]

Relieved by her upbeat tone, Dennis replied: [Rest when you need to. After last night's ordeal and jumping straight back into work today—and with that injury on your forehead—you should take care of yourself. Christmas is coming, and some clients sent me cases of wax apples and mangoes. I won't have time to eat them all, so let me send some over.]

Saskia was about to decline when Dennis quickly texted: [I'm leaving the country soon, not sure when I'll be back. I have way too much fruit at home anyway. Settled then—I need to take Abella somewhere.]

Seeing his message, Saskia could only reply: [Alright.]

Dennis was practically glowing with satisfaction, so absorbed in his phone that he didn't notice Abella's return.

She spoke up, "Come on, we can head out now."

"Already?" Dennis jumped up. "You've worked so hard. Let me give you a shoulder massage on the plane."

"Given your track record with massages... I'll pass."

"Those were all misunderstandings!" Dennis protested, hurrying to catch up.

To his surprise, Abella handed him a bag. "This is for you."

Dennis blinked in amazement—while conducting her final inspection, his sister had somehow found time to complete two coats for him.

Opening the bag, he found the coats she'd designed earlier, the ones she'd promised to fill with Down Royale.

"The fabric was already cut and ready—it just needed the filling. Now they're finally finished," Abella said with a gentle smile.

Dennis pulled out one of the coats, and it was even more stunning than the design sketches had suggested. His heart melted as he immediately shrugged off his current coat and slipped on the long-style one, admiring his reflection in the elevator's mirrored walls. It was both elegant and striking.

"It hasn't been washed yet." Abella began to worry.

"Fresh from the workshop means it's cleaner than anything in my closet. It's incredibly warm, lightweight, and comfortable. Thank you!"

"I'm glad you like it, Dennis."

Looking at his sister's radiant smile, Dennis felt overwhelmed with affection. What kind of angel had he for a sister? That beautiful smile, those thoughtful gestures, that irresistible charm—she was infinitely better than that pretentious Lola.

After twelve hours in the air, the private jet touched down on Dennis's estate landing strip. As Abella descended the aircraft stairs, she was amazed to discover that Dennis had arranged for cargo transport as well.

Six trucks in different colors waited in the distance, each with transparent cargo compartments that looked distinctly special. Since the princess's gowns couldn't be folded, each dress had been carefully placed in custom wooden crates. To honor the royal recipient, the truck compartments were filled with floating balloons, creating a romantic, festive atmosphere.

This explained the different colored trucks—six gowns, six vehicles, each a mobile celebration. Abella would ride with Dennis in his car as they formed a convoy to the castle.
