Chapter 1033 Kimberly Give The Daughter-in-law Gift
Just as they took a couple of steps, a servant approached and said, "Ms. Medici, Ms. Fischer is here."
Blake's eyes nearly popped out of his head, and he froze in his tracks.
'No way, what a coincidence! What is she doing here?' He thought.
"Abella!"
At that moment, Clare walked into the living room carrying a gift, her smile radiant.
Blake rushed over and immediately gave her a hug, whispering in her ear, "Clare, I need to talk to you. Let's go outside."
"What are you doing, getting all handsy!" Clare tried to push him away, but Blake held her tighter.
'Is this guy crazy? Hugging and saying weird things in front of so many people in the living room.' Clare thought.
"I know you're still mad at me. Give me a chance to explain outside," Blake desperately signaled with his eyes.
"Explain what? Are you drunk? Let go of me!" Clare couldn't push him away and angrily stomped on his foot.
Even though she was wearing slippers, the force was enough to make Blake's expression change in pain.
He couldn't say a word.
All the guests were stunned, not expecting the Fischer family's daughter to have such a temper.
No wonder she was pampered since childhood; she really didn't give her boyfriend any face in front of so many guests.
"Clare, you've misunderstood Blake."
At this moment, Abella stepped forward, her calm words making Clare widen her eyes in confusion. What was going on?
But to the surrounding guests, her wide eyes seemed like she couldn't believe Abella would stand by Blake and speak for him.
"Blake and that actress are just business partners. You're Blake's girlfriend and my good friend. Blake wouldn't do anything to betray you." Abella's words made Clare pause for half a second, and she understood.
So many guests, so many eyes watching her.
These people probably wanted to introduce their daughters, granddaughters, nieces, or someone to Blake. Blake used her as a shield to reject them!
He didn't expect her to show up suddenly.
Although she didn't want to pretend to be someone's girlfriend, for Abella's dignity, she decided to play along.
She crossed her arms over her chest, raised her proud face, and said somewhat petulantly, "Since Abella spoke for you, I'll forgive you this time. Remember, no next time!"
"Yes, yes, yes." Blake breathed a sigh of relief. "Next time, I'll keep my distance from them! Clare, you're not mad at me anymore? Let's go upstairs and talk. I have a lot to tell you these days."
After he finished speaking, he smiled at the other guests, "Sorry, excuse us."
Just as the three of them were about to go upstairs, a sudden excited voice came over. "Clare?"
It was Kimberly!
She and Beckett had just returned after seeing off the guests. Seeing Blake and Clare's quarrel, she was both surprised and delighted, practically grinning from ear to ear.
"So, you're dating Blake." Kimberly was overjoyed and quickly took Clare's hand, saying, "You kept it so well hidden. At Abella's return party, I asked if you had a boyfriend, and you lied to me, saying you didn't."
"Mrs. Medici..." Clare knew the misunderstanding was huge and tried to pull her hand back, but couldn't.
"I know, you must be thinking of Blake. Knowing he signed a confidentiality agreement, you chose to keep it to yourself rather than risk him breaching the contract and paying a penalty."
Clare was still trying to pull her hand back.
"I saw you two arguing just now. Was it because Blake got too close to that actress and hurt your feelings? He already has a girlfriend and still doesn't know how to keep his distance. I'll teach him a lesson!"
Clare was about to say it wasn't necessary, but in almost the blink of an eye, Kimberly grabbed Blake's ear.

"Clare, come with me. Beckett, entertain the guests." Kimberly took Clare's hand and led her to the bedroom.
"Sorry, everyone, please have some snacks." Beckett sat at the main seat and began entertaining the guests, smiling, "We always thought Blake was single, didn't expect he secretly had a girlfriend. We just found out today."
