Chapter 325 Kicked Down

Damn, are these girls even girls anymore??

Such a high wall yet they can scale it. Did they spend their high school years hopping fences? Is this experience from sneaking out??

Abella paid no attention to their surprised reactions, instead she encouraged Joanna and Josie to climb over the wall. But after barely making it over the second wall, the third was like climbing to heaven for them!

"It looks like the two of us are going to have to stay here today..." Joanna sighed disheartened.

Josie also realized that with the wall being two meters high, it truly was beyond their reach, as her spirits also sank.

It seemed so effortless for Abella and Clare to get over the wall, but when it was their turn, they found their eyes could follow well enough, but their bodies couldn't keep up...

"We'll leave only when we can all go together." Abella was still waiting for them, "Remember what I taught you just now, think about it again and give it a try."

Abella's movements were too fast earlier for Samuel to catch clearly, but he picked up on Clare's technique when she climbed over.

Now, using Clare's method, he swiftly got on top of the third wall, reaching a hand down to Josie below.

"Here, let me give you a hand." He said.

"I... I can't reach..." Josie tried to jump several times but could only touch Samuel's hand, lacking the strength to pull herself up.

"Alright then, if I must, I'll let you step on my shoulders," Arthur crouched down, missing the airs of a wealthy scion, he looked rather happy to help.

With their assistance, Josie and Joanna also got over. Finally, Arthur backed up a few steps for a running start and leapt up. Samuel gave him a hand, and the two landed stylishly together.

"Thanks." The girls expressed their gratitude to them.

"Don't mention it." Arthur replied.

The six of them continued forward and somehow became a team.

Lucine and Amelia, along with a few friends, had intended to settle a score with Abella but shortly after crossing the log bridge.

They saw the group of six climbing over the third wall and heading on.

"Move faster, we absolutely can't let them get the red flag!" Lucine shouted as she jumped up, and her friends quickly followed suit.

As the six walked on, they encountered an artificial lake ahead, which they could only cross using a rope ladder.

This challenge was designed to be much more perilous than the previous ones. Although the artificial lake was only about five meters across by estimation, it wasn't easy to cross.

The rope ladder had no handrails, making it tremble and sway under the weight of even one person, not to mention six people lining up to cross at once.

"I'll go first." Samuel said as he took to the rope ladder, and after stabilizing himself, he crossed over swiftly.

Arthur was a bit of a klutz but made it across quickly too.

Then came Abella, and Clare who crossed seeming without hesitation.

Lastly, Joanna and Josie followed, crossing in a nearly seated position as they inched slowly forward...

Not long after the group began crossing, Lucine and Amelia arrived.

At that moment, Joanna and Josie moved to the middle of the rope ladder when they suddenly felt it shaking violently; jeering laughter reached their ears.

As they both turned to see where the sound came from, they quickly spotted Amelia and her group at the end of the rope ladder.

With Lucine deliberately stepping on the rope ladder and taunting them coldly.

"A surgical student scared like that? No wonder becoming a doctor suits you; after all, dealing with prescriptions is all you're good for, not handling a surgical knife!"

Josie was already somewhat nervous, and Lucine's words only intensified her anxiety.

"Get your foot off!" Clare, on the other side of the rope ladder, couldn't hold back her anger when she saw Lucine shaking it on purpose. "Haven't you learned your lesson from last time?"

"Ha, I thought it's some dog barking at me," Lucine scoffed sarcastically as she applied more force.

The ladder shook even more violently, causing Joanna to lose her balance and fall into the water bellow...

"Ah, help, save me, I can't swim…" Joanna shouted as she flailed in the water, quickly beginning to sink.

"Pathetic," Lucine continued to ridicule from the side.

...

At the finish line of the competition, there was a large tent where all the instructors were waiting.

They were eating, drinking, and chatting merrily, waiting for the students to pass the test.

Liam had just entered the tent when, the next second, the video feed cut out...

His gaze instantly fell on Lucas, "What happened to the surveillance? Did you do this?"

Lucas, who was seated in front of the monitor, kicked the stool beside him in response, "A broken surveillance camera, and now it's my fault? Instructor Liam, you really know how to frame someone!"

"That act from Lucine earlier, she was clearly targeting my student! Do you think I'm stupid or blind?" Liam sneered.

"Maybe a bit of both?" Lucas replied sarcastically.

Liam was about to charge forward with clenched fists, but Lucas stood up to face him defiantly, and several nearby instructors hastily intervened to calm things down.

"What are you two doing? You are instructors, you should be setting an example for your students!" One of the elders said.

Lucas smiled coldly, taunting Liam, "You seem to care quite a lot about your students, especially that Abella. Is it because she's pretty? Do you have any special interest in her?"

"What did you say?" Liam's fists tightened even more.

"Are you eyeing her up, wanting to get into her bed?" Lucas said bluntly.

"Fuck you..." Liam swung his fist at Lucas's face, but Lucas parried, and the two quickly grappled in a fight.

Elsewhere, Clare, without hesitation, dived into the water to rescue Joanna.
Lucine climbed up onto the rope ladder and, seeing Josie blocking her path, simply pushed her off with a shove.

"Damn it, aren’t you guys human?" Samuel said, witnessing the scene, he was astounded on the first day of military training.

He knew Lucine from high school and was aware of her high-handed ways, but he had never expected her to act out to such a degree, even endangering the lives of others...

Lucine had confessed her feelings to him in the past, and after being rejected by him, she would just glare at him whenever she saw him...

Seeing Josie fall into the water, Samuel quickly leapt in to rescue her, his actions only infuriated Lucine more!

Abella went straight onto the rope ladder and stepped down hard causing the whole ladder to shake suddenly.

Just a second ago, Lucine was so smug about pushing Josie off, but in the next moment, she nearly fell off the ladder herself.

As she grasped the rope ladder to stabilize herself, Abella kicked her down with a swift foot.

With a splash, Lucine tumbled into the water.

At the other side of the ladder Amelia, witnessing the scene, fumed with anger.

"Abella, how dare you! Do you have any idea who she is? How could you kick her off!" Amelia shouted.

"A bunch of trash," Abella muttered, putting a bit more force into her actions. The ladder swayed, and down went Amelia.

After Samuel hauled Josie to safety, he was stunned to see what had unfolded. How did this aloof girl manage to knock all of them down while still standing so effortlessly above? Was she trained in some kind of martial art?

"Achoo..." Joanna sneezed after climbing ashore, shivering with cold.

It took several people, Clare, along with Samuel and Arthur, to pull Joanna out. She vomited a few mouthfuls of water before she came to her senses.

"Are all of you from the modern medicine class looking to die?" Samuel, who had never liked Lucine, was even more irritated now.
Lucine and Amelia struggled in the water, along with a few of their roommates. All who tried to cross the ladder were shaken off by Abella, plunging into the water with loud splashes.

When Clare saw Amelia attempting to climb up, she kicked her back down without hesitation.

"You..." Amelia emerged from the water, "I'm warning you, there are cameras everywhere. Try kicking me again!" she threatened.
