Chapter 91 Watching Sunrise Together
Phillippe sent those messages to her at six in the morning, staying up all night.
Abella tapped on the screen with her slender fingers, "Don't I let you hold me every day?"
She patiently replied, "Go back to sleep, we'll see each other soon."
Unexpectedly, just a few seconds after she sent her message, Phillippe called her.
"Abella." Phillippe's voice was charming and magnetic, "Why did you wake up so early? Had a bad dream?"
Abella didn't know whether her childhood experiences could be considered a nightmare or not. "You're still awake?"
"Mhm, can't sleep." Phillippe's voice was especially enticing, "I miss you so much."
Every moment spent with her replayed in his mind countless times. The girl's face made him long for her endlessly, to the point where he couldn't sleep.
"Are you still sleepy?"
Abella said lightly, "Not anymore."
"Then let's go watch the sunrise together." Phillippe really wanted to see her, and as soon as he got the permission, he quickly headed out.
After Abella finished washing up and changed her clothes, Phillippe's car was already at the front door of her house.
As soon as Abella walked out the door, he hugged her.
The girl's elegant fragrance entered his nose, causing his overwhelming longing to finally stop.
"I missed you so much." He lowered his head and saw the faint traces of kisses left on the girl's fair neck from last night. He couldn't help but cup her face, which he had longed for, with his hands and raised an indulgent smile, "Good morning."
"Good morning."
"We'll go to the Stargazer Restaurant to watch the sunrise and have breakfast."
"Okay."
"You just woke up, and your appearance...
"Good girl." Phillippe caressed her face, his handsome face smiling indulgently.
Meanwhile on the terrace, Lola witnessed the scene firsthand.
At first, Lola thought she was mistaken, until she took out a telescope and took a closer look. Her expression could no longer be described as shocked!
It really was Phillippe!
Phillippe personally came to pick Abella up!
Not only did he open the car door for her, his hand shielding her head, but he also bent down to fasten her seat belt and gave her a lingering good morning kiss in the car!
Lola couldn't believe her eyes. They had only spent time together until past eleven last night, and it wasn't even seven in the morning yet. They were already so clingy again!!
Watching their car drive away, Lola's anger caused her stomach to ache. She wished she could beat Abella up and angrily went to find Maria to plot.
The Starry Sky Restaurant, located on the mountaintop, was a perfect place to watch the sunrise.
When Phillippe and Abella arrived, the sun had already risen, its radiance illuminating the horizon, as beautiful as poetry and painting.
"We're a bit late." Phillippe held Abella's fragrant shoulder and said, "Next time, let's come earlier."
"Yeah." Abella looked at the scenery in front of her. "Actually, it's pretty nice like this too."
In the past, she never had the time to appreciate the beauty of nature like this. Standing here, her sight was satisfied.
When Phillippe saw the sunlight falling on her fair face, he murmured, "It really is beautiful."
Beautiful enough to not be able to resist kissing her.
The restaurant manager's eyes almost fell over when he saw them kissing in the sunlight.
What is going on?!
They were only holding hands last time, and now they're kissing?!
Isn't this progress a bit too fast?!
After a long kiss, Phillippe looked into the girl's eyes tenderly and said, "In the future, you can tell me anything, whether it's something happy or something sad. I'll be your first listener."
Abella raised her gaze and looked at his sincere expression.
"Don't bear everything alone, okay?"
Abella seemed to have never shared her thoughts with anyone, whether they were good or bad. Even with Clare Fischer and the others, she would just casually mention it. But now, seeing Phillippe's serious and caring gaze, she nodded, "Okay."
She would try her best.
Phillippe gently touched her face and smiled indulgently. "Let's go, have breakfast."
After breakfast, Abella arrived at the company and, among a pile of reports, she discovered some clues again.
Her slender fingers lightly tapped the table, thinking about the numerous things Benjamin still had hidden that she hadn't uncovered.
"Miss Medici, the designer is looking for you!" Joseph's voice came from outside the door.
"Come in."
When Abigail entered, her eyes still had traces of tears.
"Good morning, Miss Medici. These are the autumn designs I've been working on recently."
Abigail respectfully handed the design draft to Abella with a faint smile on her lips.
But upon closer inspection, it was not difficult to see that her smile was somewhat forced, and there was even a tinge of sadness.
"The minister asked me to bring it to you. He said you are the truly talented designer..."
Abella observed her reddened eyes. "Have you been crying?"
Abigail shook her head, but the emotions she had barely held back finally broke through again, and she sobbed softly.
"Sit down and get a hold of yourself," Abella said, offering her a napkin, patiently waiting for her to let it all out.
Abigail's tears started to fall, and despite her attempts to stay strong and hold back her emotions, the turmoil in her heart eventually overwhelmed her.
Outside the door, Joseph had no idea what was happening and looked confused as he shook his head at Abella.
He took out his phone and sent a WhatsApp message to Abella.
[I don't know what's wrong with Abigail, should I ask her?]
Abella replied calmly, "No need."
Once Abigail had cried herself out, Abella poured her a glass of water and placed it in front of her. "Moisten your throat first."
"Miss Medici..." Abigail didn't expect Abella to personally pour her water. Someone who had no blood relation to her was being so kind to her. Thinking of her own family, the emotions she had finally calmed down surged once again.
Abella watched her sob and asked calmly, "Is it work-related?"
Abigail shook her head.
"Family matters?"
Abigail nodded.
Abella understood. Only family could hurt a person so deeply.
"I, I..." It took Abigail a while to speak again. "Today is the anniversary of my father's death... but they were so outrageous, they dumped trash on my father's grave... If I hadn't gone to pay my respects, I wouldn't have known about the humiliation my father suffered."
As she said this, Abigail couldn't help but cry again. She really didn't want to bring personal matters and emotions to her work, but when she thought of that grave, she was genuinely angry and aggrieved!
"I haven't told my mother about this yet..." Abigail hadn't finished speaking when tears welled up again, choking her words.
Abella waited until she had finished crying before asking, "Was it done by a family member?"
"Yes!!" Abigail thought of those heartless relatives and her tears flowed like broken beads.
"In fact, my family also runs a clothing company..." Abigail wiped away her tears and said, "The clothing company was founded by my grandfather. After he passed away, my father took care of it. But a few years ago, my father tragically died in a car accident..."
