Chapter 857 Defeated
The crowd erupted with excitement. Theo pushed his way to the front and glanced back. The fighter was already down. He knew Abella had trained in combat before; dealing with these average fighters was a walk in the park for her.
"Ms. Medical, I swear I'll come back for you!" Theo led the others away.
With no more worries, Abella knocked the fighter out, quickly locked the cage door, and made her escape.
Suddenly, a gunshot echoed through the arena.
The spectators finally realized the danger and scrambled to the sides.
Dax, surrounded by his men, angrily shouted in broken English, "You dare mess with my place?"
Seeing the armed men around her, Abella's eyes turned cold. "What, do I need to file a request?"
"How arrogant!" Dax raised his hand, and his men immediately opened fire.
Abella swiftly grabbed one of them, using him as a shield, and seized his weapon to fight back.
In VIP Box 1, Louie reported with guilt, "Mr. Medici... Cruz escaped in the chaos, and we didn't see Bobby... It's all that girl's fault..."
He glanced at Abella below, fighting alone. Her movements were incredibly agile, and Dax's dozens of men couldn't gain any advantage over her.
Because Bobby loved thrilling scenes, Dennis had deliberately raised the bid to ten million dollars to lure Bobby out.
Sure enough, Cruz said Bobby had shown up, but then Abella ran to save the child in the cage, and her people rescued the child's mother...
Sensing danger, Bobby slipped away, and Cruz ran too...
If Bobby had shown up, they would have captured him and naturally sent someone to save the child.
He had been following this lead for a long time, and now it was ruined...
And it was Abella's fault...
Dennis watched Abella's swift movements on the first floor, her aura exuding wild arrogance. "Catch her and feed her to the dogs."
In the arena, Dax saw his men lying on the ground, groaning, with only three or five left surrounding Abella. He retreated in fear. "Who are you?"
The girl wore a black mask, hiding her face. Her eyes were young and clear, suggesting she was just a teenager.
At such a young age, she had the skills and courage to take down a 300-pound muscle fighter and so many of his men...
At that moment, Louie arrived with another group.
Seeing them, Dax felt like he had found reinforcements. "This girl ruined Mr. Medici's fun. Mr. Potts, quickly, have her captured."
Abella's gaze shifted towards VIP Box 1.
In front of the large floor-to-ceiling window, a slender figure stood, watching the commotion.
"This person, Mr. Medici, wants her." With Louie's words, Dax immediately showed respect. "Then I'll leave it to Mr. Medici and Mr. Potts..."
He turned to his men. "Let's go!"
This girl falling into Dennis's hands was her bad luck!
His men scrambled to their feet, helping each other as they left.
Louie looked at the cold, arrogant girl before him and felt a strange sense of familiarity. Her aura was somewhat similar to Dennis's, both exuding a sense of arrogance.
"You messed up Mr. Medici's plans. Are you gonna walk out on your own, or should my guys help you?" Louie asked.
"Enough talk. Let's get this over with." Abella swiftly attacked.
Louie felt a surge of frustration. He hadn't expected this girl to be so bold. Didn't she realize she was about to meet her end?
His men were different from Dax's rookies. Each one was personally trained by him.
Dennis stood by the window, watching Abella's agile movements. In no time, the lights in the arena suddenly went out. When everyone adjusted to the darkness, the girl was already gone.
It was Theo who had cut the power and driven to pick her up.
Louie, having suffered his first defeat at the hands of a young girl, returned to VIP Box 1, his voice subdued. "Mr. Medici..."
Before he could report, Dennis lazily said, "I saw."
Louie lowered his head, not expecting the girl to be so skilled.
"Pathetic," Dennis added, "You couldn't even handle a young girl."
Louie's face turned red. He wanted to say that although she was young, her skills were probably on par with Dennis's, but he didn't dare.
"I don't know who that girl is. I've never seen such techniques and skills... I'll have someone track her down. Also, Cruz may have escaped, but I made him take poison before he came here. He won't last the night."
"At least you did something useful," Dennis said, leaving the box.
Louie quickly followed. "I'll have people guard this place. If anyone resembling Bobby shows up, we'll capture him immediately."
"No need," Dennis said indifferently. "He won't come back anytime soon."
With such a commotion, especially with Cruz escaping, Bobby would sense the danger and wouldn't walk into the trap.
Louie felt a pang of regret. The lead they had worked so hard to get was ruined by that girl.
The elevator doors opened with a ding.
Dennis's voice was casual. "Find her and kill her."
"Yes!"
On the road, Theo drove like a madman. "Ms. Medici, are you okay?"
"Do you think I could get hurt by those people?" Abella replied coldly.
"Of course not, you can handle anything, even taming Phillipe..." Theo said, sneaking a smile. "Ms. Medici, I heard you're dating Phillipe. Is it true?"
Abella shot him a look, and Theo quickly sat up straight. "I knew they were lying to me, trying to get me in trouble with you..."
"They weren't lying," Abella said suddenly. "It's true."
Theo was stunned for a moment, almost failing to dodge an oncoming truck.
He hadn't expected Abella to admit it...
It seemed Abella was quite satisfied with Phillipe.
"What about the child?" Abella asked calmly.
"I took him to a private clinic. The doctor said he's fine. I've arranged for them to return home. It's a sad story. The child's father was a scumbag, racking up debts and selling them off. By the way, Ms. Medici, Dax and his people are not to be trifled with..."
