Chapter 592 Seven Santa Clauses
It could make them squirm in pain without a mark. Abbott, the Medical Authority, could pull it off.
"Has Uncle James noticed?" Abella chuckled.
"They're probably still clueless." James laughed, looking both refined and charming.
Just then, the event planner for tonight's festivities saw James and rushed over, asking if he was happy with the setup.
"What does Abella think?" James asked, looking at her.
Abella knew that many wealthy folks abroad hired top-notch planners to make their Christmas celebrations unique and prestigious. Some even went on lavish vacations and bought limited-edition luxury items to flaunt their wealth.
Abella glanced around at the dreamy Christmas wonderland setup. Even the servants were dressed as elves, and ballet dancers were entering, hinting at a performance tonight.
"It's pretty good," she said simply, earning the planner a nice bonus.
The planner thanked her profusely and hurried off to arrange the next part of the evening.
"Abella, dinner's in an hour. Want to rest in your room?" James asked gently. "Or, Aimee can show you around. We have a cinema and a game room. Want to check them out?"
"No, I'll just wander around."
Abella left her baseball cap on the sofa and noticed more Christmas trees inside. Each ornament was handmade and unique, with the star on top made of hundreds of dazzling diamonds. One tree alone was worth over two million dollars, and there were many more throughout the room.
James had clearly gone all out to make sure Abella had an unforgettable holiday.
Abella then went to the garden, where seven or eight three-meter-tall toy soldiers stood, adding a whimsical touch. Thousands of meters of star lights adorned the plants and trees, along with beautiful ribbons, Christmas trees, and decorations.
Servants were busy in the garden, pushing clothing racks with neatly hung clothes.
Abella, looking puzzled, asked a passing servant, "What's going on?"
"Ms. Medici!" The servant greeted her respectfully. "Mr. Harris picked out more clothes, shoes, and bags for you today. Along with the ones from last night, he was worried you'd have trouble carrying them, so he had us clean and iron them and send them directly to the plane. The plane will arrive at Long Island Manor tomorrow, and the servants there will put everything in your wardrobe."
The servant smiled and said, "We've already ironed them to make sure there are no wrinkles. Now we're just counting to see if anything's missing. If not, we'll send them to the plane."
Abella was speechless. She didn't expect James to buy her so much stuff today. With all these clothes, shoes, and bags, plus the ones from her parents and Phillipe, she wouldn't be able to wear them all even if she changed outfits every day for years.
"Oh, and there are more clothes, shoes, and bags on the way. We'll clean and iron them as soon as they arrive."
"Uncle James is too kind," Abella said, feeling a bit guilty. "I'm sorry for the trouble."
"It's no trouble at all. It's our honor to iron clothes for Ms. Medici!" The servant smiled. "Mr. Harris really cares about you."
"I know," Abella smiled. "I can see it and feel it."
"Ms. Medici, you're a good person. We're glad you could come and hope you visit often."
Abella nodded, and the servant smiled and bowed before returning to work.
Abella looked up at the sunset-painted sky and felt grateful for her family.
Suddenly, all the lights went out, plunging the garden and manor into darkness.
In the distance, a servant exclaimed, "Did we use too much electricity and cause a blackout?"
Abella looked at the garden full of lights—star lights, moon lights, and various other shapes. It seemed they had overloaded the circuit.
As the sky hadn't completely darkened yet, she planned to wander around the garden a bit more. Suddenly, the entire garden and manor lit up again with a warm glow.
Cheerful music played from rock-shaped speakers, and seven Santa Clauses danced and sang, carrying red gift bags as they walked towards Abella.
Abella was surprised, then touched, a smile spreading across her face.
The seven Santa Clauses sang and held hands, surrounding her. Outside the circle of Santas was a group of servants dressed as elves. They also held hands and, after finishing the first song, started another.
They let go of each other's hands and danced joyfully in front of Abella.
Abella was amused. She recognized the seven Santa Clauses as her dad, mom, uncle, Steven, Ethan, Winston, and Blake.
How did they find the time to stand in front of her and give her such a surprise?
Abella's eyes became a bit misty.
When the music stopped, everyone shouted in unison, "Abella, Merry Christmas Eve, Merry Christmas! Are you surprised? Are you happy?"
Before Abella could answer, her four brothers lifted her up and tossed her into the air.
Their hands formed a large net, catching Abella securely as she came down, only to toss her up again.
"Alright, don't throw her so high. You'll scare her. Put her down!" Kimberly, worried that Abella might get frightened, quickly ordered.
