Chapter 552 Snatching People

Abella watched them back away in fear and said, "This body has multiple rib fractures and a ruptured liver. Looks like a car accident, crushed to death."

She covered the body with a white cloth and signaled for the others to take it away.

The others, mostly student council members, were visibly shaken. They'd never seen anything like this before.

Eventually, two teachers stepped in to move the bodies.

The audience, initially silent, began to applaud Abella. She was not only brave but also incredibly skilled. She was just too cool!

Professor Watkins from Innovation University's Medical School was stunned by Abella's dissection. He stood up and asked, "Abella, have you done dissections before? Did you learn these skills at Medical University?"

Abella thought of Rodolfo and nodded. "Sort of."

Watkins was even more amazed. He'd never heard of such a professor at Medical University!

It seemed both the students and professors there were highly skilled. But Abella was just a freshman and already so talented!

Feeling a bit humbled, Watkins couldn't let such talent go to waste. "Have you thought about transferring? I'll recommend you to join Innovation University's Medical School. I'll personally mentor you, or you can choose any teacher you like. Whatever Medical University offers, we can match."

"Including $5 billion worth of experimental equipment?" Abella asked with a smirk.

Watkins was puzzled until someone whispered that Abella chose Medical University because they invested heavily in medical instruments that attracted her.

Realizing Innovation University couldn't match that, Watkins still didn't want to lose her. "I'm a core member of the Empire Vista City Medical Research Association and can get you a membership. You'll witness all the challenging surgeries we undertake. Are you planning a career in medicine?"

If so, joining the Medical Research Association would make her highly sought after by major hospitals and offer many international opportunities. Participating in surgeries would rapidly advance her skills.

This was a huge benefit!

Students from both Innovation University and Medical University were envious.

"Abella," another gentle female voice called out.

Abella turned to see a woman standing in the crowd, smiling. "I'm with the Libertya Medical Research Association. I saw your dissection and would love for you to join us. Ordinary hospitals might not suit you. With your skills, you should be researching major topics to benefit humanity. If you agree, you can pause your studies here, and we'll have the best mentors guide you."

The students were stunned. Both the Empire Vista City and Libertya Medical Research Associations were vying for Abella!

Some were envious, some excited for her, and others felt inadequate.

Abella smiled. "Thanks for the offers. I'm honored, but I want to stay at Medical University for now."

"Is it just because of the experimental instruments?" the woman pressed. "We have advanced equipment too."

"I'm really sorry," Abella replied. Staying at Medical University was also a way to honor her Grandma's wish for her to finish college and give back to society.

Both associations were disappointed, but another judge chimed in, "Your dissection and suturing skills are amazing. You'll definitely make a name for yourself in the medical field!"

"Thank you, professor," Abella said, bowing and stepping off the stage.

Her team followed, and the applause continued.

Joanna caught up with her. "Abella, you're amazing. Why do you even need school?"

Josie added, "The second corpse made me nauseous. Your mental strength is incredible!"

"Did you see the Innovation University team? They were all pale."

"They were so arrogant before. Now they're silent after Abella showed them up."

"Today, our Medical University really shined!"

Just then, Brian approached, looking pale. "Abella, you were great."

But recalling the scene, he felt nauseous again. "Sorry," he said, running off to vomit.

Everyone laughed, wondering how he'd ever hold a scalpel.

"No wonder Abella said the classroom is for those who need it. She doesn't. Innovation University thought she was bragging."

"Abella, well done!"

"No matter the score, Abella has already brought great honor to our school!"

As they chatted around her, Abella smiled. "The competition's over. Let's go backstage, pack up, and head back to school."

"Abella, I want to treat you to a meal. I really like you and want to be friends."

"Me too! Your words really encouraged me."

"I don't want to go back to school yet. How about coffee?"

"Abella led the team today. Let's all treat her to a good meal."

"Sure."

Not far away, Brian finished vomiting and looked weakly in their direction, feeling insignificant. It seemed no one remembered him, but he didn't have an appetite anyway.
