Chapter 887 She Is Your Fiancée?

A kiss landed on Abella's forehead, followed by another on her lips.

Phillipe's voice, soft and teasing, carried a hint of possessiveness as he held her close.

He lifted Abella off the ground.

The door closed behind them as Phillipe carried her inside, laying her down on the couch to kiss her.

The scent of her freshly showered skin made him lose himself completely.

Abella felt something pressing into her back. "Wait..."

Phillipe forced himself to stop and saw her pull out a small gift bag.

It was something he had bought in Verdania and had been holding onto. In his eagerness, he had forgotten to set it aside when he laid her down.

"For you," Phillipe said, his voice still thick with emotion.

Abella opened it to find a pale blue gemstone, clearly valuable.

"I saw it and thought it would suit you, so I got it for you," Phillipe said, brushing her hair back. He couldn't resist touching her soft skin, which he hadn't seen in so long.

"Next time, don't buy me these things."

"I want to bring you all the beautiful things I find," Phillipe said, kissing her lips again. "I don't have anywhere to stay tonight. I don't know if someone might take me in."

"There's another room here. If you don't mind, you can stay in the one across the hall."

A presidential suite usually has just one bedroom, one living room, and one bathroom, right? How could there be two rooms?

Seeing his plan fall through, Abella couldn't help but laugh. "You could always book another room."

"That would put me even farther away from you. If you agree, I could set up a bed on the floor next to yours. That way, if you fall, I can catch you."

"In your dreams."

They laughed and joked, and Phillipe adjusted his hold on her, as if remembering something. "I have two friends in Britonia. They have some free time tomorrow, and I'd like you to meet them. Are you free?"

Phillipe wanted his best friends to meet his fiancée, Abella, and see how amazing she was.

"I have a meeting at Dawn Brew Café tomorrow at two. Someone helped me out twice, and I want to buy him a coffee."

"Then I'll arrange to meet them there. What time is your meeting?"

"Two in the afternoon."

"I'll set it for three," Phillipe said, pulling out his phone to message his friends.

Sean couldn't believe the coincidence. He had arranged to meet a girl at Dawn Brew Café at two the next afternoon!

If he were still there at three, Phillipe and Terry would see how amazing the girl he liked was!

He was so excited that he decided not to tell his friends about his meeting, wanting to surprise them. He fell asleep with a smile on his face.

The next afternoon, Phillipe and Abella arrived at Dawn Brew Café first.

Dawn Brew Café was a popular spot in Britonia, known for its spacious, beautiful environment. The window seats offered views of the sea and a large Ferris wheel.

"What kind of coffee do you want?" Phillipe asked softly.

He knew her usual preference but wondered if she wanted to try something new.

"Anything is fine," Abella said, not picky about food or drinks.

"Find a seat, and I'll order."

This café still used the traditional counter service. As Phillipe queued up, a few girls noticed his good looks.

"He's so handsome."

"Is he with that girl from earlier?"

"They look so good together."

"I want to add him on WhatsApp."

"Me too. I'll go ask! He's too handsome to miss out on."

A college student studying in Britonia mustered the courage to approach Phillipe. "Hi, can I get your WhatsApp? I'd like to be friends."

"Sorry, I have a fiancée," Phillipe replied politely.

But the girl was even more charmed by his voice and manners.

She returned to her friends, excited. "He's so polite and well-mannered. He said he has a fiancée and even apologized. That girl must be his fiancée. She's so lucky. I really like guys who are loyal like that!"

"Me too."

Abella chose a window seat and received a WhatsApp message.

Sean: [Abella, are you here yet?]

Abella replied: [I'm here.]

She had agreed to meet Sean at two, and Phillipe had come along to drop her off.

Sean: [You're early! I'll be there soon!]

He hurried in, almost bumping into a server, and apologized profusely. From a distance, he saw Abella looking his way.

He waved and walked over, smiling. "You're early! What coffee do you want? I'll get it."

"My fiancée's coffee doesn't need you to get it." Phillipe arrived with their order. "You two know each other?"

"What... what did you say?" Sean's smile froze. He looked at Phillipe, then at Abella. "Abella is your fiancée?"

"Why, does it not look like it?"

Sean felt like his mind went blank, as if struck by lightning. He grabbed an iced coffee from the tray and drank half of it in one go.

Abella was confused, and Phillipe looked at Sean like he was crazy.

"I've heard Phillipe talk about you. You're as beautiful as he said. You know my name, and now I know you. What a coincidence, we're like family. You're Phillipe's fiancée."

His heart was breaking.

He could barely keep his smile. "Where's Terry? I'll go check..."

"Wait." Phillipe looked at Sean, then at Abella. "You two knew each other before?"

Before Sean could answer, Phillipe continued, "How did you meet?"

"I told you, he helped me twice, and I wanted to thank him with a coffee. So, he's your good friend too?" Abella replied.
