Chapter 76 His Gift
Soon after, the warehouse door was suddenly opened, and the group of people barged in again.
Dylan turned on the lights, his gaze sharp, wishing to expose the person hiding in the warehouse.
The production workers quickly searched, but still couldn't find any suspect.
"Dylan, if someone is hiding here, we would have discovered them already."
Dylan inspected thoroughly and really no one was hiding.
"Now you guys can rest assured!"
"You said there was a sound of vibrating cell phone, it should be a misunderstanding."
......
Dylan's gaze swept the whole room again, he always felt that something was wrong, but couldn't say it.
That appearance, looked somewhat gloomy.
"If there really is someone in the warehouse, she will show up right after we leave..."
"We waited outside the door for so long just now. If there was someone inside, there wouldn't be no sound at all."
"Dylan, you're worrying too much!"
Dylan continued to search, but there were no changes in the warehouse. He had to give up, "Hopefully!"
Now, he really turned off the lights and closed the door, but before leaving he deliberately changed the password, leaving a backup plan.
He thought, if his instinct worked and there was someone in the warehouse, this new password would trap that person perfectly.
If there was nobody, in case someone behind them got the old password and wanted to come in, they wouldn't be able to get in!
Abella heard the reminder that the password had been changed successfully, and she smirked coldly. She didn't expect Dylan to be so alert.
Unfortunately, opening this door was like a piece of cake.
No matter what password, it was all the same to her.
There was no system in this world that she couldn't crack, and how could a door keep her out?
Abella came down from the beam, walked around the warehouse quietly, and found a place where a lot of inferior fabrics were piled up, probably used to produce that batch of low-quality products.
Her eyes darkened. After invading the company's monitoring system and seeing that there was no one outside, she opened the door and left.
Phillipe had been waiting outside for forty minutes. Seeing the familiar figure finally appear, he walked a few steps forward and hugged the girl in his arms, "Is it done?"
"Mm."
"I'll take you home." Phillipe saw that it was getting late and drove her to the Long Island Manor.
Lauren was playing with flowers and plants in the garden. When she saw the young master of the Bourbon family personally driving back with their young miss, she hurriedly invited him to come in.
Phillipe didn't refuse and held Abella's hand as they went in.
Lola was originally playing the piano for her parents. When she heard the report from the servants that Phillipe had come, Mr. Medici and Mrs. Medici hurried downstairs.
Lola suppressed the urge to see Phillipe, ran to the bedroom to dress up, and then said something to the servant, Bia, before walking downstairs.
"Oh, Phillipe, last night Abella stayed with you guys, did she cause you any trouble?" Mr. Medici politely said with a smile.
"No." Phillipe looked gently at Abella, "Rather, we love to bother her and cause her trouble."
Mrs. Medici couldn't help but smile when she saw their interaction, "Is the old man feeling better now?"
Phillipe politely replied, "Grandfather said that seeing Abella has already made him felt almost recovered."
"Hahaha..." Mr. Medici didn't expect Abella's grandfather to be so satisfied with his own daughter, and he was extremely happy.
"Abella has been going to the company a lot lately, we haven't seen her as much as you, and we're worried that she's not eating enough, she's too busy..." Mrs. Medici had just finished speaking when Phillipe assured them, "Uncle and Aunt, don’t worry. I will take good care of her."
His gaze was always doting.
Mr. Medici and Mrs. Medici exchanged a glance, and they both could tell that this boy really liked Abella!
At this moment, Lola came downstairs with meticulously done makeup, revealing a standard sophisticated smile, warmly and sincerely saying, "Hey, sister, brother-in-law, you're here?"
Every movement she made while coming downstairs was elegant and noble, as if she had deliberately trained herself, impeccable in every way.
Seeing her refinement as a lady, Mrs. Medici was satisfied, especially when Lola said "brother-in-law," it could be heard that she was a sensible person, not thinking about replacing Abella just because she had previously been engaged to Phillipe and enter the Bourbon family...
Abella noticed Lola's light makeup and responded with a faint "mm."
Meanwhile, Phillipe's gaze was always on Abella, with a hint of doting, "Shall we go out for breakfast together tomorrow morning?"
"I want to eat at home. I want to be with you."
Upon hearing this, Mr. Medici thought it was simple, "Tomorrow, I'll have the kitchen prepare more breakfast. Phillipe, you come over and eat with Abella, and then go to work!"
Phillipe was overjoyed upon hearing this, "Thank you, Uncle."
"My pleasure. We're family!" Mr. Medici laughed, "What do you like to eat?"
"Doesn’t matter to me." Phillipe dotedly glanced at Abella, "I'll eat whatever Abella eats."
Laurent nearby felt ignored, and felt both jealous and embarrassed.
At this moment, Bia saw an opportunity and brought over a glass of lemonade, "Miss Lola, this is your water."
Earlier, she had served water to Phillipe and Abella, so now she brought a glass to Lola, and no one thought anything of it.
But she deliberately tripped over a chair leg, and the water in her hand accidentally splashed towards Lola.
Coincidentally, it spilled on Lola's chest.
Lola was originally wearing a silk nightgown, and now the front was wet, revealing enticing curves.
"I'm sorry, Miss Lola. I didn't mean to!" Bia was extremely frustrated and quickly pulled out tissues to wipe Lola.
"It's okay. Don’t worry. I'll take care of it myself." Lola showed her mercy.
But Phillipe's gaze never once landed on her.
"Miss Lola, it's all my fault. I ruined your clothes!" Bia deliberately emphasized the last two words.
However, Philippe's gaze remained fixed on Abella, and she looked at him in annoyance after he whispered something in her ear. Philippe, however, wore a mischievous smile, and the two of them appeared to be teasing each other affectionately.
"Lola, why don't you go change your clothes," Mrs. Medici said softly.
"I'm sorry, Abella, brother-in-law. I'll go upstairs and change my clothes first."
No matter how polite she behaved, Philippe's eyes didn't linger on her for even a second.
As Lola was going upstairs, she unexpectedly overheard Mrs. Medici asking, "Abella, is that bracelet new? I've never seen you wear it before..."
"He gave it to me."
Only three words, but it made Lola freeze in her tracks, almost as if she had been nailed to the floor!
"Philippe gave it to you?" Mrs. Medici asked eagerly, inspecting the bracelet. "It's so beautiful! I've never seen this design on the market before..."
"He designed it."
