Chapter 860 Became Friends

At 10:00 AM, three sleek black sedans rolled up to the open space near the hotel.

A sharply dressed female bodyguard, recognizing Abella from a photo, respectfully opened the car door for her.

Abella slid into the middle car, pulled a black blindfold from her bag, and handed it to the bodyguard for inspection.

She knew the royal family's rules well: the fewer people who knew the locations of their residences, the better.

The bodyguard looked a bit surprised. She had a new blindfold ready for Abella, but Abella had already brought her own for inspection.

The blindfold was thick, blocking out all light. After checking it, the bodyguard handed it back with both hands, saying, "Thanks for understanding."

Abella nodded politely. After putting on the blindfold, she was escorted by a car in front and another behind to the princess's private castle.

The car drove smoothly for a while before coming to a stop.

The bodyguard opened the door for her. "Lady Margaret, we're here."

In front of Abella stood a magnificent castle, unlike any other wealthy estate. This castle truly exuded the dignity and grandeur of royalty.

This was just one of the many properties owned by the royal family. It was a birthday gift to Isolde Porter when she turned eighteen, and she had lived here alone since coming of age, except for the dozen or so female bodyguards skilled in combat and shooting, and a large number of security personnel protecting her safety and property inside and out.

Abella's arrival immediately caught the attention of the security personnel. Many of them communicated through earpieces, their eyes never leaving Abella.

"She's the designer Ms. Porter invited," The bodyguard explained to the security personnel.

They nodded, made a call to the butler to confirm, and then subjected Abella to three security checks before allowing her to enter the main castle gate.

It was winter, and the ground and trees were covered in a blanket of white snow.

Abella was led to a beautiful living room, decorated in a luxurious and romantic style.

Not only did it have just the right amount of artistic flair, but every detail also exuded a unique nobility. Every item was meticulously chosen, each piece highlighting the extraordinary status of the owner.

"Ms. Porter, Lady Margaret has arrived."

The elegant and noble Isolde stood by the window. Hearing the announcement, she turned around with a charming smile. "Lady Margaret."

Her smile was graceful, her walk dignified, and every movement conveyed what it meant to be a true princess.

Abella saw Isolde extend her hand and politely shook it. "Ms. Porter, thank you for waiting."

"No need to be so formal. There are no outsiders here." Isolde's every expression and gesture were perfectly timed, making people feel at ease. "Please, have a seat."

Servants brought out exquisite pastries and fragrant tea, which the bodyguard inspected before serving.

"You may leave now. I would like to speak with Lady Margaret alone." Isolde ordered.

The bodyguards respectfully withdrew, but as the door closed, Abella noticed them quietly communicating through their earpieces, likely arranging for more guards to stand by outside to ensure Isolde's safety.

"Lady Margaret, I really admire your design philosophy. You're incredibly talented, and everything you create is just stunning." Isolde's elegant smile was famous for its breathtaking beauty. Although she rarely appeared in the media, her striking looks were often the subject of conversation. Her deep-set features seemed to be meticulously crafted by the hand of God. Not only was her face captivating, but her fashion sense also inspired many.

"It's an honor to have you appreciate my work," Abella replied.

"I was wondering if you'd be interested in making QY the exclusive brand for the royal family, providing clothing only for royal members from now on."

Abella understood, realizing they wanted QY to serve only the royal family.

Given the royal family's unique and highly esteemed status, it made sense.

Although QY's designs were unique and wouldn't be seen elsewhere, if the brand were used by ordinary people or local wealthy individuals, it would make the royal members' attire seem less dignified.

"Ms. Porter. If you wish, I can create a new brand under a new designer identity, exclusively for Ms. Porter."

"Thank you." Isolde smiled, pleased with Abella's quick understanding.

"Today, besides discussing a long-term collaboration, I also want you to design some unique outfits for different occasions."

After hearing this, Abella stood up. "I'll start by taking your measurements."

She knew the royal protocol: aside from handshakes, touching a royal member's body was considered offensive.

So, while taking measurements, she avoided touching Isolde's shoulders and other areas, yet her measurements were precise.

"Can you remember all that?" Isolde was surprised that Abella didn't write down any numbers, relying solely on her memory.

"Just a few numbers." After finishing the measurements, Abella inquired about Isolde's preferences and style.

The more they talked, the more Isolde felt a connection. When Abella sketched a few designs that Isolde liked, she was amazed.

"Even more beautiful than I imagined." Seeing the colored sketches, Isolde was completely captivated by Abella's talent. "They're stunning. I can't wait to see them made."

The combination of colors and styles was unexpectedly beautiful.

Abella then asked about Isolde's preferences for hats, accessories, gloves, and bags, sketching them to match different outfits.

The overall look was even more elegant and sophisticated with these additions, making the outfits appear both dignified and beautiful.

Abella also drew Isolde's portrait, showcasing different styles that revealed various aspects of Isolde's personality—playful, dignified, mysterious, and elegant.

"I didn't expect you to be so good at drawing people, too." Isolde felt a strong connection with Abella, especially appreciating her serene and graceful demeanor.

"Is there anything you would like to modify or add?" Abella asked.

"No, it's perfect." Isolde smiled at the designs on the tablet. "Let's go with your designs."

Abella's ability to create so many beautiful designs in such a short time was impressive.

"Let me design a few pairs of shoes for you as well." Abella sketched different shoes to match each of Isolde's styles.

Isolde's smile remained satisfied and happy throughout. "You draw so well. Besides clothing, do you design other things? Like bedding or curtains?"
