Chapter 560 Princess Carry

Abella and Clare were usually out, so Joanna became her go-to listener.

Whenever something happened, she told Joanna first.

"So, why did you study medicine?" Bella asked again.

"My mom died because they couldn't save her. That pain of losing someone, I don't want others to feel it. If I learn more, I can save more people and keep families together."

"You and Abella have such big hearts," Bella said, impressed. "I believe in you. You'll be an amazing doctor!"

"You too, let's work hard together," Josie encouraged.

Abella, fresh from her bath, overheard them. She remembered Josie looking upset during military training. Was she being bullied back then? It reminded Abella of her own tough times with the Wilson family.

Feeling a pang of sympathy, Abella knocked on the glass door.

"Abella!" Josie smiled. "Want to join us in the hot spring?"

"Come on, it's so nice in here. Let's chat!" Bella invited.

Abella smiled. "I already had my bath."

"Come on over. We just shared our secrets."

Before Bella could finish, Abella said, "I heard everything."

Bella was surprised but laughed. "You've been there the whole time? Now it's your turn. What's your family like? Any secrets?"

Josie, aware of Abella's special status, quickly changed the topic. "I bet you're curious about her and Phillipe."

"Yeah, how did you and Phillipe get together? Did you chase him, or did he chase you? Who fell first?" Bella asked eagerly. "He's so different from the rumors. He's so sweet to you."

Abella sat by the pool and smiled. "What rumors?"

"That he's strict and hard to talk to."

Josie added, "Phillipe must've fallen for her first! Abella wouldn't chase him. Just look at how he is with her; it's clear he couldn't resist her."

"How long have you been dating? When will you meet each other's parents? If things are stable, will you marry him?" Bella asked.

'Marry him?' Abella hadn't thought that far. "Maybe."

Bella grinned. "Abella, you're blushing. Never thought about marriage?"

"Am I?" Abella touched her face, not feeling hot, probably from the steam.

"You are! You look so cute blushing. If I had my phone, I'd take a picture and sell it to Phillipe."

"Bella, you're such a troublemaker," Josie said, splashing water at her.

"When are you meeting each other's parents?" Bella asked again.

"They've already met, but keep it hush-hush. When we get back, don't tell anyone," Josie reminded her.

"Don't worry, I won't spill. I'm just curious about dating Phillipe. Do you go to fancy restaurants, book the whole place, and take romantic trips?"

Abella laughed. "Something like that."

"Did I guess right?"

Just then, Abella's phone buzzed. It was a voice call from Samuel, which surprised her since he rarely called.

She answered, and Samuel's urgent voice came through. "Abella, I heard Josie had an accident, and you saved her. Is she okay? I've called her many times, but she hasn't answered."

Abella smiled, understanding his concern. "She's right here. I'll let her take the call."

"Okay."

Abella handed the phone to Josie. After Josie finished talking with Samuel, Abella asked, "Are you two dating?"

"No," Josie quickly said. "During military training, Lucine made me fall into the water, and Samuel saved me. We've been chatting on WhatsApp since then."

"I heard Samuel's family is well-off and well-connected in Empire Vista City. Plus, many girls at our school like him! He's handsome and confident, like a dream prince. When will you start dating him?" Bella teased.

"He hasn't pursued me," Josie said, blushing.

"He cares about you a lot. You didn't answer his calls, and he even called Abella. That shows he really cares. If he pursues you, will you be with him?"

"I haven't thought about that," Josie admitted.

"Think about it now," Bella urged. "He's a great catch."

"We'll see," Josie said, her face turning red.

Bella laughed and teased her. Abella smiled too, seeing a message from Phillipe on WhatsApp. She stood up. "I'll step out for a bit. You guys enjoy."

"It must be Mr. Bourbon looking for her. People in love are so happy, always having someone thinking about them," Bella sighed. "It makes me want to fall in love too."

Josie's face was still burning. She thought about how Samuel had been messaging her every day for the past month, always inviting her out. 'Could it be that he likes and cares about me?' she wondered.

Meanwhile, as soon as Abella stepped out of the suite, Phillipe picked her up.

Before she could react, Phillipe said, "I didn't notice you had injuries on your hands and feet."

Abella remembered the small cuts on her calf and arm and smiled. "I probably scraped against some rocks getting out of the water. It's nothing."
