Chapter 478 Hundreds of Houses Given by Others

"After you finish the business, come find me in Florida." Abella paused for a moment, then added, "Be good."
Phillipe initially wanted to refuse, but because of those last two words, he eventually relented.
"I won't get into trouble. Besides, won't you have people protecting me?"
Phillipe could only give in. "Alright, you go over today, and I'll come find you tomorrow."
Gabriel said, "Boss, how can I finish the business today? Do you want me to work non-stop for 24 hours? Is that fair?! I'm not a machine!"
"Have your men hide better."
Phillipe couldn't help but chuckle. "Alright."
Abella had excellent counter-surveillance skills; every time he arranged people, she would manage to spot them.
Long Island Manor.
Lola didn't expect Winston to return with Abella. Did Winston go to find Abella after saying he had something to attend to earlier? This thought made her feel uneasy.
Winston first went to his dressing room to get some clothes changed, then knocked on Mrs. Medici's door, saying he was going abroad with Abella.
"Winston, you're finally being sensible!" Mrs. Medici exclaimed happily. I'm entrusting Abella to you. Take good care of her, stay at the best hotels, accompany her wherever she wants to go and buy her whatever she wants to eat. Also, it's getting cold; don't let her catch a cold."
Mrs. Medici thought Winston was taking Abella on a trip to have fun, so she happily gave him a lot of instructions on how to take care of Abella.
"Alright, I'll remember that."
Winston didn't tell her about the dangers of this trip, intentionally letting her believe they were going on a trip to have fun. He patiently waited for Mrs. Medici to finish her instructions before leaving.
In the living room, Lola saw Winston carrying a bag and couldn't help but ask, "Winston, where are you going?"
"I have some things to attend to and need to go abroad," Winston patted her head. "Next time, I will take you out to play."
Lola wanted to ask Winston which country he was going to and if it was for work, but Winston looked up and saw Abella coming downstairs toward them, leaving Lola aside.
Noticing the girl descending the stairs empty-handed, a puzzled Winston quietly asked, "Why didn't you bring any luggage?"
"It's on the plane," Abella replied softly.
"Alright, let's depart now."
The plane was already parked near the Manor, and the siblings left side by side.
Lola was puzzled. Didn't Winston say he was going abroad for a while? Why did he leave with Abella?
"Miss Lola," Maria hurriedly came to Lola's side, whispering anxiously, "I just heard Mrs. Medici telling Mr. Medici on the phone that Winston is taking Miss Abella to the United States to play for a few days!"
"What did you say?"
"It's absolutely true!"
Lola's face turned extremely ugly. Her hands clenched into fists unconsciously as she watched them leave.
She couldn't believe it. Just a moment ago, she talked to Winston about going to the United States to have fun, and he said he had been too busy recently.
But now, Winston was taking Abella abroad!
She wanted to go sightseeing with Winston, visit the Statue of Liberty, and go to Disneyland.
But Winston didn't take her; he only took Abella.
How could Winston do this?!
Tears welled up in Lola's eyes, a mix of anger and sadness.
"Miss Lola, I've said it before: they all have the blood of the Medici family in them," Maria sighed as she watched them leave.
"I never expected Winston to be so biased. Isn't he afraid that you will hear the news and feel hurt?"
"Or maybe he simply doesn't care about your feelings. Regardless of whether you're sad or upset, he doesn't care. He wants to take Abella out to play; after all, Abella is his real sister."
"Winston's actions are too much! He's even more biased than Steven and Ethan!"
"I told you, what they say is all lies."
Tears streamed down Lola's face. In her mind, she remembered the happy moments she had shared with Winston from childhood to now.
"Miss Lola, he's not worth your tears," Maria said with aching heart. "Don't cry."
"How could Winston do this?" Lola couldn't help but wipe her tears away, looking sadly in the direction Winston had left. "How could he? He kept saying he would treat me like a real sister and care for me for a lifetime. It's all fake; everything he and the others said is a lie; they've all just been fooling me..."
"Now, do you understand the importance of money I told you about? Luckily, you received those thirty million. Even if the emotions are gone, at least you still have money. You used to feel sorry for Winston, but look, he doesn't feel sorry for you at all!"
Lola wiped away her tears and ran back to her room, not wanting to hear anymore.
Maria watched her retreating figure, knowing that this incident had taught her a valuable lesson. It was good that she was learning it now; it was better to be clear and sad now than to be in pain later.
In this family, it was only good for making money. What's the point of talking about emotions?
On the other side.
Winston stared at the luxurious private jet in front of him, completely stunned.
This unique jet, acquired two years ago, is rumored to belong to a powerful boss. He never expected that this boss was Abella.
Abella's financial strength completely exceeded his imagination.
Looking at this priceless jet in front of him, Winston couldn't help but feel a myriad of emotions. Had he been too stingy with the pocket money he gave Abella?
Could Abella, who could afford such a plane, think that the pocket money he gave her was too meager?!
"Winston, why aren't you boarding?" Abella looked at him with some confusion.
Winston climbed up the stairs onto the plane, "Did you buy this jet two years ago?"
"I didn't buy it," Abella replied truthfully, "It was one of the Grandpas I told you about who gave it to me."
Given as a gift? When Winston heard this, he realized that even their own Grandpa wouldn't be so generous... Who exactly was this person?
Wasn't it incredibly generous to give Abella a jet worth billions of dollars as a gift?
"They often give me gifts," Abella explained.
She owned hundreds of properties under her name, not to mention other businesses and stocks. However, most of these were immovable properties, gifts from the Grandpas, so even if she needed money urgently, she couldn't bring herself to sell them.
She put the pocket money from the Grandpas into investments, and whenever she made a profit, she would use it to buy various things to give back to the Grandpas.
Also, she invested the pocket money given by her parents and brothers, planning to use the profits to surprise them with a gift.
