Chapter 666 No One Got Off the Plane

The whole plane was shaking like a leaf in the wind, like a tiny boat in a crazy storm.

Anita was getting tossed around with the plane, and stuff was flying everywhere in the cabin.

Abella bolted to the cockpit. The pilot was out cold, totally done for. With no one at the controls, the plane started nosediving like a rock.

"Ah!" Anita's scream echoed through the cabin.

Abella yanked the pilot out of the seat and slid him into the co-pilot spot, then grabbed the control stick.

She'd flown planes before. Owen had a bunch of private jets, and she'd even flown one of his for a business trip once.

But this new jet? Totally different beast.

First time dealing with this one.

She had to get the plane back up to cruising altitude, stabilize it, and then land it safely at Caleb's place.

The plane had dropped so fast, they were flying super low now. Abella could see the houses packed tight below. To avoid crashing and causing a disaster, she wrestled with the control stick to pull the plane back up.

Folks in the small town below saw this massive plane dive-bombing and then shooting back up. They were all like, "What the heck just happened?"

If that plane had crashed, their town would've been toast!

Anita was losing it, screaming her head off. She covered her ears and curled up in a corner until the plane stopped shaking and she saw fluffy white clouds outside the window.

She couldn't believe it. She stared for a bit, then looked at the stuff scattered on the floor, now still.

She was safe! 'Was it Abella? Abella can fly a plane? Abella can do everything!'

"Anita." Abella's voice came through the system, cool as a cucumber.

Anita, still freaked out, started bawling when she heard Abella. Her legs were jelly, and she crawled to the door, saying into the system, "Ms. Medici, I'm here, I'm okay."

"The pilot's in trouble. Get over here."

Hearing that, Anita grabbed the sofa and tried to stand, but her legs gave out again, and she hit the floor.

"Ms. Medici, I'm useless, I can't stand up." Anita's voice was shaky and embarrassed. "I can't stand steady."

"There are a few tricks to fix that. Listen up." Abella, still in the pilot seat, pressed some buttons and told her where to massage while keeping an eye on the flight path to make sure they were on track.

Following Abella's tips, Anita managed to stand up again. She was in awe of Abella's skills.

"Bring me my backpack," Abella said.

"Yes." Anita grabbed Abella's backpack and made her way to the cockpit. Seeing Abella coolly handling the controls, she was so stunned her legs almost gave out again, and she clung to the chair.

Watching Abella fly the plane was mind-blowing.

"Ms. Medici, I brought your stuff." She said, her voice trembling.

"Give me her hand."

Anita snapped out of it and saw Ann slumped in the co-pilot seat. She quickly grabbed Ann's hand and passed it to Abella for a check.

Abella's slender fingers rested on Ann's wrist, her eyes locked straight ahead. "It's a heart attack. Open my backpack, there's a small white bottle inside. Crush a pill and mix it with water, then give it to her."

"Oh, okay." Anita scrambled to follow the instructions.

She couldn't wrap her head around how Abella could fly a plane and save a life at the same time.

'Abella's a total badass, her nerves are steel, and she's got this commanding presence. She's unreal,' Anita thought.

After giving Ann the medicine, Abella calmly reminded her, "We're about to land. Find a seat and buckle up."

"What about Ann?"

"Buckle her in too."

"Yes." Anita quickly did as she was told. Once she was seated, the plane started its descent, heading for a swanky private estate.

It was a massive green lawn with a long runway beside it.

The butler, Gregory Butler, looked up at the sky. After a bit, he finally spotted the plane coming in. He quickly spoke into his walkie-talkie, "It's gotta be Ms. Medici's plane. Is the runway clear? Make sure all other planes are out of the way and give her maximum space!"

The plane roared past, descending in a smooth arc and finally touching down on the runway.

Anita's heart was pounding. She couldn't believe Abella had landed the plane so smoothly.

Gregory took a closer look and confirmed it was indeed the Medici family's plane!

He was thrilled and immediately called Caleb, "Mr. Harris, Ms. Medici's plane has arrived."

"I see it." Sitting in the car, Caleb watched the plane land on his helipad in a perfect arc.

The driver respectfully opened the car door for him. As he stepped out, his tall and imposing figure made everyone around him bow. "Good day, Mr. Harris."

Caleb nodded slightly, his eyes never leaving the plane. He'd heard that his niece, found six months ago, was a brilliant doctor capable of treating even his mother's complex illness.

She was indeed something special.

But after the plane stopped on the runway and the cabin door opened, with the stairs extending to the ground, no one came out.

Gregory had brought a group to greet them, but after waiting by the stairs for a while, there was no movement.

No one came out, and no one explained what was going on.

He looked puzzledly at Caleb, "Mr. Harris, this..."

"I'll go check it out." Caleb walked up the stairs, his coat billowing in the wind. He exuded an aura of power and nobility, every move full of grace and presence.

As soon as he stepped into the cabin, Caleb saw Abella kneeling on the ground, administering aid.

Abella's long hair cascaded over her shoulders, her beautiful and delicate face standing out, her eyes radiating confidence and brilliance.

She was treating Ann, who lay motionless on the couch, looking seriously ill.

Anita squatted nearby, looking at Ann and worriedly asked, "Ms. Medici, will Ann be okay?"

"She'll be fine." Abella inserted needles into Ann's acupoints one by one. Hearing the noise from the cabin door, she looked up and her eyes met Caleb's.

'Who is he? Uncle Caleb?' Abella thought.
