Chapter 967 Let Dennis Bring the Items to the Car

"Everything in my house is yours too—whenever you visit, take whatever catches your eye!" Saskia linked arms with her, glowing with happiness. "No matter what happens or when, I'll always be your strongest support. The Fuller family stands behind you! Though with your current abilities, you hardly need such a small backing," she laughed. "But I want you to know—whenever you need me, I'm here."

A gentle warmth flickered in Abella's eyes. "As am I."

As they strolled together, Saskia suddenly remembered something. "Oh right, when did you find out that Dennis founded the drift racing team?"

"After I returned home."

"That explains everything! I wondered how you two could have been at each other's throats back then... turns out neither of you knew who the other was. What a mess that must have been."

Abella's lips curved into a knowing smile. "You seemed quite shocked to learn that Eagle Eye works for Dennis."

"Abella, you won't believe this—Eagle Eye is the one who's been blocking my project!" Saskia's grip tightened on her arm, still reeling from the revelation. She muttered to herself, analyzing the situation. "Dennis must really despise me to keep sending Eagle Eye to cause trouble... We're like oil and water—first the racing feud, now the business conflict."

She paused, then added with exasperation, "If I'd known he was Dennis, I would have picked a day when he wasn't home to visit!"

Continuing her analysis, she said, "No wonder he asked about me after that race... I thought it was because I wanted to win his track and open it to the public, thinking that had caught his attention... Turns out he's been the one sabotaging my project all along."

"Dennis doesn't dislike you," Abella revealed suddenly. "Quite the opposite—you're rather special to him."

"Special how?"

"Why do you think he's blocking your project for no apparent reason?"

'So you'll stay in Britonia longer, giving him chances to watch you from afar, to keep you close.' Abella thought but didn't say.

"I think he just can't stand me!"

Abella smiled knowingly but held her tongue. Dennis's feelings were his to confess.

After touring the gardens, Abella led Saskia to her bedroom.

"Wow... this place is three times the size of mine." Saskia gasped upon entering, her eyes wide with amazement. "Your family absolutely adores you—even the simplest decorative pieces look priceless!"

It wasn't just the ornaments; even basic items like tissue boxes and table lamps bore luxury brand names, not to mention the exquisite bedding.

"Is this your walk-in closet?" Saskia stepped into the dressing room and fell speechless at the sight before her.

Even as a Fuller family heiress, she'd never seen such an extensive collection of beautiful clothes, shoes, and handbags. The spacious room was meticulously organized, with garments, footwear, and accessories sorted by category. Everything looked pristine and untouched.

"You've never worn any of these, have you? They look brand new." Saskia fingered a dress, feeling the premium fabric.

"Hey, don't these look a lot like the clothes you designed? Oh, I remember now—didn't you say a while ago that your parents ordered a hundred pieces of clothes, shoes, and bags from you, and then your fiancé ordered another hundred? They didn't all order through QY, did they? So, how much did you make from that?"

"Saskia, please don't tease me."

"Standing in front of you, I feel like a pauper! Honestly, I've never owned this many clothes at once in my entire life!"

After glancing around the closet, Saskia couldn't help but smile. "Now I see what Clare meant when she said you found your real family. From the moment I walked in, I could feel how much your family cherishes you—not just with their hearts, but in every thoughtful detail. Honestly, it makes me even angrier about the way the Wilsons treated you."

Abella couldn't help but laugh. "Getting mad at them isn't worth the energy anymore."

"You're right. By the way, I heard that Isla is living quite miserably now."

Saskia cursed inwardly, 'Serves her right! She should have been a decent person when she was the Wilson family's precious daughter instead of bullying Abella. Without Abella, the Wilson family would be absolutely nothing!'

"But what's happening with your family? Do you need help?" Saskia noticed the numerous security guards patrolling below. "Just say the word, and I'll have people here immediately."

Abella explained Jacob's situation, then added, "We're just waiting for the mastermind to make their move."

"I can't believe there are people worse and more disgusting than the Wilson family. Please be careful these next few days."

"Don't worry. With so many people around, and besides, getting close to me won't be easy."

"True. With your skills, there are few people in this world who could match you."

They chatted until nearly eleven o'clock, when Saskia finally bid a reluctant farewell.

"When your identity is revealed, I'll come celebrate with you."

"Absolutely."

As they descended the stairs, Kimberly rose from the sofa with particular warmth and affection. "Saskia, leaving so soon? It's still early—why not stay a bit longer?"

"Thank you, Ms. Harris, but it's already quite late."

"Why not just spend the night here? It would save you the trip back and forth. You'll be attending Abella's homecoming celebration in a few days anyway. I'm so fond of you. If you stayed, Abella would have company, and I could see more of you."

"I appreciate your kindness, but Abella is traveling abroad tomorrow, so I'd be alone anyway. I'll visit again soon."

"Abella, you're going abroad?" Kimberly looked at her daughter with surprise.

Dennis chimed in, "Yes, I'm escorting Abella tomorrow. Don't worry, she's just delivering some garments to a client—same day there and back. It won't interfere with any upcoming plans."

He knew the family was planning surprises for Abella.

"Please be careful and take good care of your sister." Kimberly was clearly concerned about his injuries but felt this wasn't the appropriate time to discuss it. She'd address it later.

Turning back to Saskia, she continued, "Dear, you don't need to bring gifts when you visit—it's too formal. Boys, help carry Saskia's things to her car."

The brothers immediately chimed in, "Let Dennis do it."

Dennis's face lit up with obvious pleasure.

"Ms. Harris, you're too kind. These are just small tokens of respect."

"I appreciate the gesture, truly, but I can't accept gifts."

As the two continued their polite back-and-forth, Abella intervened decisively. "Keep half, return half."

The Medici family would accept half of Saskia's gifts while reciprocating with other items—a compromise that would end the endless courtesies.
