Chapter 501 Discovered

Ernest and even the other subordinates were anxious.

"You, you shut up!"

Winston was still resting inside. If he found out that Abella and Phillipe had left him to handle matters secretly, not only would Abella be in trouble, but they would be, too.

"Abella!

"Come out!

"Meet me!"

Raymond held a knife to Curtis' neck, shouting loudly. He didn't want to hurt Abella's people, but at this moment, he had to see her as soon as possible.

Even Winston on the second floor heard it and said gently, "He must have something urgent to find Abella for. I'll go down and check."

"No, Mr. Medici, please don't go..." Jimmy hurriedly stopped him, saying, "You're injured; you should rest inside. Ernest will surely handle it. The weather outside is terrible, and you still have wounds. It wouldn't be good if they got worse."

"It's fine. I'll go tell him to keep it down so he doesn't wake Abella." Winston started walking towards the stairs. "And I'll ask him what the matter is. If it's urgent, I can relay the message."

Seeing Winston painfully and clumsily walking down the stairs, Jimmy became more anxious and followed him, persuading, "Mr. Medici, let us handle this small matter. You should go back and rest."

"No worries."

Jimmy was fretting about how to stop him when he heard a noise from outside.

"Ms. Medici!"

"It's Ms. Medici's car. Ms. Medici is back."

"Ms. Medici finally returned!"

"Every time Ms. Medici goes out, I worry, but every time I see her car return safely, I'm relieved."

More than twenty people shouted "Ms. Medici" one after another, their voices loud enough for everyone in the castle to hear.

Someone even took an umbrella and opened the car door for Abella.

"Ms. Medici, are you hurt?"

"Was it a big victory?"

"Is anyone following? If so, I'll go block their way."

Raymond saw the girl get out of the car and realized Ernest hadn't lied to him. Abella had indeed gone out on business and wasn't in the castle.

He instinctively released Curtis, who quickly ran into the crowd, rubbing his sore neck.

He thought, Damn, 'Raymond's grip is really strong.'

"No problem, it went smoothly." Abella looked up, her clear and beautiful eyes particularly striking in the dark night. She saw Raymond and was a bit surprised. "What are you doing here?"

"Abella, come with me. I'll explain on the way."

Raymond was about to grab Abella's hand when someone suddenly intercepted him.

It was Phillipe.

He pulled Abella to his side, his gaze deepening.

Phillipe thought, 'Why is this guy looking for Abella in the middle of the night?'

Abella noticed Raymond's anxiety. She handed her things to Phillipe and said softly, "Phillipe, I need to go out for a bit. When Winston wakes up, give these to him."

She thought Winston was sleeping in the castle, but at that moment, Winston was standing by the floor-to-ceiling window on the first floor, watching their every move.

At first, he thought he was mistaken, but when Abella got out of the car, he recognized that bright and charming face, which could only belong to his sister.

Despite the thunderstorm and the noise of the argument, Abella hadn't woken up.

It turned out she wasn't in her room!

Winston instinctively looked at Jimmy beside him, who guiltily lowered his head.

Winston thought, 'So, why did Abella have to sneak out in the middle of the night? And why did this group of people keep it from me?

'Could it be that the place Abella went to was the location Nicole had left behind?

'Corerned about my safety, they didn't want me to go.'

Looking more closely, he saw that Phillipe had returned with Abella. He thought, 'So, this guy has also deceived me.

'Their marriage isn't even confirmed yet, and they were already working together to deceive Wme?'

Winston planned to confront them.

"Mr. Medici, please don't be angry. Ms. Medici saw you were injured and wanted you to rest more," Jimmy hurriedly explained, catching up to him, "Ms. Medici didn't want you to worry and lose sleep, so she didn't tell you."

Outside, Phillipe looked down at Abella and asked, "Where are you going?"

Raymond, anxious, whispered, "Abella, there's no time."

"I'll explain later?" Abella didn't know exactly what was happening, but she had a vague idea it was related to the person Raymond had mentioned earlier.

That person was probably in critical condition.

"Be careful and call me if anything happens."

Phillipe didn't want to restrict her freedom or ask too many questions. He gave her great trust and freedom.

"Come back soon." He patted Abella's head like he was advising a child.

A subordinate handed over an umbrella, and Raymond took it first, waiting for Abella to take the first step.

"I'll be back soon. Stay in touch."

Abella's words seemed to reassure Phillipe, making his expression soften.

Seeing him smile, Abella left with Raymond, her slender figure gradually disappearing from Phillipe's sight.

Phillipe watched her leave, his expression complicated. Ernest held his breath for a while before saying, "Mr. Bourbon, don't worry. Ms. Medici is just handling some business and will be back soon."

Phillipe remained standing, his gaze following the car as it drove away. No one knew what he was thinking.

"Raymond is so anxious; he must have something urgent."

"He rarely comes here."

"Well, Ms. Medici owes him a favor."

Someone's last comment caught Phillipe's attention. "Owes him a favor?"

"Didn't Ms. Medici tell you?" The subordinate realized he had misspoken and quickly covered his mouth, but it was too late.

Phillipe's gaze was too intense to bear, so he had to look to Ernest for help.

Ernest could only give a brief explanation.

Though it was brief, Phillipe's heart still ached.

It turned out that before he met Abella, she had already endured so much hardship.

Some hardships even men couldn't bear, but she had gritted her teeth and persevered.

Winston was about to step out of the castle when he saw Phillipe walking back with an umbrella, ascending the steps.

"Winston?"

Phillipe's tone was somewhat surprised.

Winston's face was grim. "It's one thing for Abella to be reckless, but how could you join her? In the middle of the night, during a storm, if something happened, I would feel guilty and suffer for the rest of my life. Even though you can protect her, what if something really happened?"

Jimmy, standing nearby, pleaded with his eyes for Phillipe's forgiveness.

He hadn't meant to let it slip.

Because he mentioned Raymond's favor to Abella, they had wasted some time, leading to the current situation.

"Our family finally found Abella. I don't want anything to happen to her, especially not because of me. Do you understand?"
