Chapter 889 The Circle is Complete

Facing Phillipe's increasingly intense stare, Sean quickly blurted out, "No way. The person I like is on the Boeing racing team! I told you ages ago, the girl I'm into is a professional race car driver. Is Abella one?"

Even though Abella wasn't, she was way more impressive than a professional race car driver.

"Plus, I went to watch the race because of the girl I like. I didn't expect her not to compete, and it was Abella who raced. I just happened to get the chance to speak up for her."

Phillipe's eyes were skeptical, as if he was weighing the truth.

Sean continued, "It wasn't entirely by chance. Speaking up for Abella was also a way to impress the girl I like, to make her think well of me."

"You said the girl you like is very compassionate," Phillipe suddenly interjected.

"Yeah, she usually likes to feed stray cats and dogs..." Sean rambled on.

At this moment, he felt a bit relieved. Luckily, he hadn't told Phillipe that the girl's compassion was because she saved a child from a cage, otherwise, he wouldn't be able to explain it even with a thousand words.

"You said the girl is tall and thin, beautiful and elegant, and most importantly, she looks younger than you," Phillipe continued to scrutinize him.

"Yeah, there are several members of the Boeing team who look younger than I. You can't just assume I like Abella because she's young and pretty, right?" Sean, though feeling a bit guilty, stood his ground firmly, refusing to admit anything.

Phillipe's suspicion eased a bit, but he still said, "You also mentioned she agreed to have coffee with you. How about today?"

"Yeah, but she had something come up last minute, so I had to reschedule. I can't be too eager and make her uncomfortable, right?" Sean said earnestly, "Abella invited me for coffee because I helped her twice. It's different."

"You really have no inappropriate thoughts about Abella?"

"Me? What could I possibly think about her? Seriously, is everyone in love like this, afraid their treasure will be taken? Let me clarify, I have absolutely no thoughts about Abella."

Even if he did, that was in the past.

From this moment on, he declared that Sean was heartbroken!

He had fallen for someone impossible.

"Terry's here! Look! Terry's muscles are so defined, you can see them through his coat." Sean finally saw his lifeline and rushed forward, patting Terry's arm, "You've been working out a lot lately."

Terry smiled.

If he knew he would meet his ideal partner, he would have trained three more hours every day!

"Wasn't the meeting at three? Why are you two here so early?" Terry thought he was the first to arrive, but he saw the two of them chatting outside the café from afar. He checked his watch; it was only 2:50.

Phillipe was one thing, but since when did Sean become so punctual? And even arriving early.

In this cold weather, they were both standing outside waiting for him.

This camaraderie touched him deeply.

"I heard you're having coffee with the girl you like today? Where? Phillipe and I want to check it out." Terry asked Sean, giving Phillipe a wink, unaware of what had just happened.

Sean didn't expect the topic he had finally diverted to come back to him, so he laughed, "She had something come up last minute. I was going to show you guys."

"So she's really pretty?"

"More than pretty, she's perfect."

"This is the first time I've heard you praise a girl like this. We must meet her someday. But recently, I also met a very special girl." Terry seemed in a great mood, like a breath of fresh air.

"How special?" Sean hoped Phillipe's attention would shift entirely to this matter.

"Let's not talk about her now. Why don't you guys go inside and find a seat?" Terry said, then looked at Phillipe, "Weren't you going to introduce your fiancée to us? Don't you need to pick her up?"

"She's inside," Phillipe said deliberately, "You said the girl you met is very special and beautiful?"

"Of course, I guarantee you've never seen such an amazing girl in your twenty-something years."

Phillipe didn't believe it. The most amazing girl to him was Abella.

With Abella's skills, there was no one else in the world like her, let alone with the same looks and charm.

Sean didn't believe it either. The most amazing girl to him was Phillipe's fiancée, someone he loved but couldn't have.

"Guess her profession?" Terry opened the café door, letting them in first, and said cheerfully, "You'd never guess."

"Painter? Writer? Celebrity?" Sean blurted out, "Teacher? Lawyer? Doctor?"

"You guessed it." Terry smiled, leading them to a window seat, his eyes meeting Abella's.

'What a coincidence? Abbott? She's here too?' Terry thought.

Abella stood up as they arrived, and Phillipe's hand rested on her slender waist, introducing, "This is my fiancée, Abella."

Terry was a bit stunned, looking at Phillipe's hand on Abella's waist.

Suddenly, Terry could hear his heart breaking.

"Hello," Abella greeted Terry graciously.

"So, Abella is your real name? Nice to meet you."

Hearing Terry's words, Phillipe and Sean asked in unison, "She has another name?"

Terry was a bit confused by their question, "Abbott... that's her, right?"

Abella was a bit surprised. How did he know her other identity?

"Yesterday, you saved someone at my hospital. I happened to see it." Terry explained, "At first, I wondered why there was such a young chief surgeon, until others mentioned it was Abbott."
