Chapter 256 The Uncle and Aunt's Meeting Gift
"Isla, Isla?" At this moment, Mr. Wilson called her softly and tugged at her skirt.
Isla finally snapped back to reality and shifted her attention to Mr. Wilson.
"Go invite Remy up on stage, let him say a few words." Mr. Wilson said.
Isla knew her father wanted to show off and let everyone know how excellent her future fiancé was.
Despite Remy's unhappy mood tonight, Isla still gently went down from the stage, took Remy's hand, and brought him up.
"Remy seems to listen to Isla. If she wants him on stage, he will go on stage."
"They seem to have a good relationship."
"It's a pity, though. I prefer Abella."
"Me too."
Remy said a few words on stage, then politely stepped down.
While Isla was about to leave the stage, her gaze unintentionally turned towards the entrance, and there came a trendy man walking in!
With brown hair, dressed in the latest fashion, wearing sunglasses and a mask. That figure, that fashion style, that aura… why did he resemble the popular star Blake a little?
Just as she was trying to take a closer look, the man had already walked towards the direction of the elevator with long strides!
Unexpectedly, the legendary CCG Diner was truly a place for hidden dragons and crouching tigers. The guests who came here were all celebrities, of course, except for Abella.
Even if Abella truly was outstanding, Isla didn't want to admit that she was inferior!
As soon as Abella stepped into the private room, she noticed a new face inside. A beautiful, elegant lady, in both speech and behavior.
Time hadn't left a trace on her face. She seemed to be in her early thirties, very young-looking.
"Darling, you're here?" Mrs. Medici immediately saw Abella and went up to her.
Abella nodded, "Sorry for keeping everyone waiting."
"We haven't been waiting long, we just arrived." The elegant lady smiled kindly, looking even more approachable.
Mrs. Medici took Abella's hand and walked up to the lady, introducing her, "I was just telling your aunt about your glorious achievements! Let me introduce you. This is your aunt, Margaret, and this is Abella, my dear daughter!"
Margaret spoke softly, "You're Abella? You're so beautiful! Sister-in-law, Abella has some of your looks and temperament, but I have to say from the bottom of my heart, Abella is even more beautiful than you! With your beauty, there's someone to carry on the family's legacy!"
Mrs. Medici laughed heartily when she heard Margaret compliment both of them, "You still know how to flatter!"
"Abella, I'm your aunt. I'm glad to have you back in this family." Margaret said, extending her hand and gently shaking Abella's hand, carrying herself with grace and elegance.
"Nice to meet you." Abella politely greeted.
"I just heard your mother say that you've been managing the fashion company recently? So, all those big achievements of the fashion company recently, those were your doing? Truly outstanding! Continuing the family legacy indeed."
"You have inherited your father's entrepreneurial genes, clever and intelligent. And you have inherited your mother's stunning beauty and competence." Margaret said, then smiled at Mrs. Medici, "You and your husband are really lucky!"
Mrs. Medici smiled happily, "You flatter us too much!"
Margaret smiled, "I am only speaking the truth."
Just then, a middle-aged man walked out of the restroom. He was dressed extraordinarily and had an impressive aura. He was taken aback when he saw Abella, apparently not expecting her to arrive so quickly.
"Abella, let me introduce you. This is your uncle." Mrs. Medici stepped forward to introduce them, "George, this is Abella."
George immediately smiled kindly and asked, "So you're my niece? You really look like your mother!"
"I've been saying how beautiful Abella is. Look at her brows, her eyes, her features, and her temperament." Margaret praised Abella beside her.
"Hello, Uncle," Abella greeted obediently.
"You've finally returned to this family. You've suffered outside all these years! Don't worry, from now on, we will be your strong support. If you need anything, you can come to us for help! We are family now! You will be treated well!" George exclaimed.
"Thank you, Uncle." Abella said, then glanced at Margaret and added, "Thank you, Aunt."
"This child is so polite." George chuckled, "I heard that you not only have good grades but can also manage a company. Being so excellent, you deserve some rewards!"
Saying this, George took out a bank card and handed it over. "This is a small token to welcome you to this family. The password is six zeros. Feel free to buy anything you like!"
Another card?
Why does everyone in this family keep giving cards all the time?
"You are preparing gifts and giving cards again?" Mrs. Medici could sense the importance everyone attached to Abella, which made her even happier and more touched.
"This card is to welcome Abella back to this family. It's our little token of happiness. The gift is for Abella's perfect scores; it's different, so she should accept both." George said as he handed over the card.
But Abella took a step back politely and said, "Thank you, Uncle, for your kind gesture. I'll accept your goodwill, but there's no need for the card."
"This child is still so polite!" George smiled warmly and looked at Margaret.
Margaret immediately stepped forward and stuffed the card into Abella's pocket. "This is from us to you. Just accept it! There's not much money inside, it's just a small token of our happiness. If you don't accept it, we won't be able to sleep tonight!"
Just as Abella was about to refuse, she heard her mother say, "Since it's a gesture of your uncle and aunt's kindness, just accept it. Besides, they are not short of money, and they like expressing their goodwill through money. If we don't accept it, they won't be able to sleep tonight!"
Abella felt somewhat helpless upon hearing this and saw Margaret stuffing the card into her pocket. Margaret looked at her with tenderness.
With a smile, Abella politely said, "Thank you, Aunt and Uncle."
"Silly child, there's no need to thank us!" Margaret said, glancing at the time. "What's taking Elsa so long? She hasn't arrived yet?"
As she said this, Margaret glanced at Abella, explaining further to her. "Earlier, she bumped into a good friend here and went to say hello. It's been twenty minutes and she hasn't returned. I'll give her a quick call to remind her."
Mrs. Medici immediately interjected, "No need, let her chat with her classmates a bit more. It's fine."
"Abella is here, and the food is about to be served. We can't make everyone wait for her, right?" Margaret said, taking out her phone and dialing her daughter's number.
The next second, a pleasant ringtone came from the door, and the door handle moved as someone pushed it open.
