Chapter 562 The Gossiping Heart

"I think Abella's talent is what drew someone like Phillipe to her. Haven't you noticed? They're both way ahead of everyone else," Josie said.

"Abella is way better than us. How does she do it?" Bella wondered. "For me, making a name in medicine feels impossible. But Abella was already using a scalpel in today's competition."

That was because someone from Innovation University's medical school provoked her, and Abella stepped up, showing off her skills.

No one knew how much more she knew in private.

"Abella's got a unique personality and talent. She was discovered by a mentor young and has put in more effort and time than most. If you have any medical questions, ask her. She'll share her knowledge."

Hearing Josie, Bella said, "I'm so jealous you share a dorm with her. My dorm mates are unbearable. One always watches shows loudly, another never showers or does laundry, and her clothes are moldy. The last one loves to gossip."

"You can apply to change dorms. My dorm mates are pretty easy to get along with. Although Abella and Clare are often out, Joanna and I keep each other company. But when something comes up, the four of us are great allies."

Bella was even more envious. "Can I join you for meals and classes when Abella and Clare aren't around?"

"Of course!" Josie invited warmly, "Even when Abella and Clare are back, you're always welcome."

At that moment, Abella knocked on the door and smiled. "Let's go grab something to eat."

"Abella, you're done?" Bella's eyes lit up. "You've got a lot of hickeys on your neck."

Josie looked at Abella and laughed. "And your lips are swollen."

"Phillipe is quite something, isn't he? It didn't take long for him to leave you like this. His stamina is impressive."

"You guys really love gossiping, don't you?"

"It's hard not to with you around." Bella linked arms with Abella, like a concerned parent. "Phillipe must really like you. I think you two should get engaged first. He's Phillipe, after all. What if someone else snatches him away?"

"Are you saying I'm not as good as him and need to tie him down with an engagement?" Abella raised an eyebrow, intrigued.

"Of course not. I'm just saying, what if some other girls try to seduce him? You can't guard against everyone. It's better to act first."

"That depends on his self-discipline," Abella said with a faint smile, "No amount of guarding will help."

"No, no, no, I still think..."

"You should worry about yourself!" Josie interrupted, linking arms with Abella and continuing the gossip. "Come on, tell us, who couldn't resist first?"

As the three stepped out of the suite, they saw Phillipe waiting outside.

Bella and Josie froze. 'Oh my God, why is Phillipe here?'

They glanced at Abella, who smiled. Had Phillipe been waiting since Abella showed up?

"I..." Bella stammered, thinking, 'Oh no, did Phillipe hear me suggest Abella get engaged to keep other girls away?'

Josie felt embarrassed too. She had just asked Abella who made the first move.

Gossiping in private was one thing, but being overheard was mortifying.

"I was just gossiping," Josie said awkwardly.

"Me too. Don't take it seriously," Bella added, worried Phillipe might think poorly of her.

"No worries, just a joke among classmates. Actually, I think Bella has a point. Abella should consider it," Phillipe said, smiling at Abella.

Bella was stunned. 'Phillipe thinks I made a good point? Does he want to get engaged to Abella? This is so sweet!'

"Between Abella and me, I'm always the one who takes the initiative," Phillipe said, looking at Josie to satisfy her curiosity.

Josie was shocked. She didn't expect Phillipe to answer. 'Oh my God, Phillipe actually...'

"You go ahead," Abella said, stepping forward. "The three of us are injured and need to walk slowly."

"Should I carry you?"

"Get lost."

Abella felt he was doing it on purpose, showing off their relationship.

"I'll head downstairs first," Phillipe said, ruffling her hair. He looked at the two girls behind Abella and said, "Please take care of Abella for me."

"No problem," Josie replied instinctively.

After Phillipe left, Bella exclaimed, "Oh my God, my mind is still spinning. Abella, Phillipe is so good to you. He listens to everything you say."

"The key is, he was so obedient just now, even answering our questions," Josie added excitedly.

They gossiped around Abella all the way to the restaurant downstairs, which had been entirely reserved.

A large table was filled with various delicious dishes, and Josie and Bella were stunned. 'Isn't this too generous, too extravagant?'

"Abella, we can't eat all this," Bella said, feeling it was such a waste. There were at least twenty or thirty dishes.

"With Phillipe here, even if he didn't order it, the resort manager would have prepared this much," Abella explained.

Given Phillipe's status, who would dare serve just a few dishes to his guests?

"Where's Phillipe? Isn't he eating?" Josie wondered.

The manager stepped forward to explain, "Mr. Bourbon is dining elsewhere. He was worried you might feel uncomfortable with him here."

"Oh my God, he's so considerate."
