Chapter 1092 Teasing
"So, it's everyone else's fault, and you haven't done anything wrong, right?" Beckett closed his eyes, frustration boiling over. He felt like he was talking to a brick wall and was utterly disappointed.
She was completely unreasonable now, living in her own world, harboring hatred for everyone around her.
Seeing their expressions, Lola felt even more irritated.
In the past, they had never shown her such expressions. Before Abella came back, they hadn't even raised their voices at her, let alone scolded her.
"You care so much about your precious Abella, don't you? Today, I'll let you watch as she dies a miserable death right in front of you," Lola said, suddenly laughing with satisfaction.
Just the thought of Abella suffering gave her a sense of revenge!
But the more she laughed, the more indifferent and expressionless Beckett and Kimberly became.
She couldn't help but stop and ask, "Aren't you afraid?"
"With just these few people, you can't hurt her," Kimberly said confidently, still having faith in Abella.
In this rundown place, Lola only had three henchmen, and she was in a wheelchair.
With this, she thought she could make Abella suffer?
Abella would be more likely to make her suffer.
"Haha."
Knowing what they were thinking, Lola laughed even harder. "Do you really think I only prepared these three people? I know Abella is tough. It's not that I underestimate her, but today, even if a hundred Abellas came, they wouldn't be a match for me."
Kimberly glanced at her, clearly not taking her words seriously.
"If you dare hurt Abella, I won't let you get away with it!" Beckett was fiercely protective of his daughter.
But to Lola, this was just more evidence of his favoritism.
"For your biological daughter, you're willing to harm the adopted daughter you've raised for eighteen years?" Lola sneered, her face turning vicious. "Then don't blame me for being ruthless."
At that moment, a henchman walked in and reported, "We've captured them."
Lola's smile grew even more smug. "Bring them in."
Beckett and Kimberly had no idea who she had captured until her henchmen brought them in. They were shocked to see that the captives were Carl and Winslow!
Their hands were tied behind their backs, and they were pushed to the ground, forced to kneel.
"Dad, Mom." Beckett tried to rush over to help, but he realized he was tied to a pillar and couldn't break free.
Kimberly, also tied to a pillar, anxiously looked at the two elderly people across from her and angrily said, "Lola, you even tied them up? They were your grandparents."
"Haha, now you want to talk about family? Where were you before?" Lola sneered. "I'll never forget how heartless you all were when I was lying in the ICU."
Now, it was payback time.
Finally, it was their turn to be at a disadvantage.
"Winslow, are you okay?" Carl, with his hands and feet bound, could only anxiously look at Winslow.
Winslow struggled to kneel up from the ground. With her hands and feet tied together, she was in the same position as Carl, kneeling.
This posture clearly showed that Lola wanted them to submit.
Lola wheeled herself in front of them, looking down at them, tied to the pillars, kneeling. She felt a sense of satisfaction but also pity for them. If they had been fairer, they wouldn't have ended up like this.
Winslow didn't struggle but looked at the person in front of her with disappointment. "Did you have us tied up?"
"Surprised? Didn't expect it, did you?" Lola laughed. "Don't worry, your precious granddaughter will come to save you soon. Do you know why I had you tied up here, separate from your son and his wife? Because I want to see if Abella will save you first or her parents."
Lola laughed again, a long, hearty laugh. "If she saves you first, she'll have to watch her parents get hurt. If she saves them first, she'll have to watch you get hurt. Just thinking about her suffering, struggling, and being helpless, unable to save everyone, and finally falling, watching you get killed, makes me so happy."
Just thinking about it filled Lola with immense satisfaction.
"Just like when I watched my mother get pushed down the stairs."
She wanted Abella to taste that kind of pain!
"So, you want us dead?" Carl looked at his former "granddaughter," feeling a mix of emotions. He never expected her to become so deranged in such a short time.
She was really crazy!
"My family is dead, so why should Abella's family live? I'm suffering so much, why should you be happy at my expense? You never cared about me. You all deserve to go to hell. You all deserve to die!" Lola's body trembled with rage, tears in her eyes.
Carl didn't say anything, clearly disappointed to the extreme, not wanting to speak further.
Winslow also looked away, feeling that she was beyond reason, and saying anything more was useless.
Seeing their calm expressions, Lola became even angrier, deliberately trying to provoke them.
"Your five biological grandchildren will also be here today to accompany you in death. You like family reunions, don't you? Today, you can all go to hell together."
She laughed until tears came out.
At this point, Kimberly, tied up across from them, sensed something was wrong. Lola dared to call all five of them here.
How could she be so confident?
Abella and the others were not easy to deal with, especially with Abella.
How could Lola be so sure that everyone would die here today?
Did she plant a bomb or something?
If Abella and the others came, wouldn't it be very dangerous?
Just then, Kimberly's phone rang. Lola saw the caller ID "Sweetie" and felt a deep sting in her heart again!
She hung up the call, changed the contact name to "Trash," and lazily answered when "Trash" called again.
"I'm here," Abella's calm voice came from the other end.
Abella looked at the dilapidated hospital in front of he,r but didn't get out of the car immediately. Her instincts told her the location wasn't here.
"At Peace Hospital?" Lola said happily. "Then come to Eastgate Heritage Manor!"
