Chapter 234 Amusement Park

"So, what about our engagement..." Isla hesitated, tears shimmering in her eyes.

Remy declared dominantly, "We're not calling it off!"

"What about my uncle and aunt..."

"I will tell them that the engagement banquet will go ahead as planned!"

"Remy, you're really wonderful..." Isla buried her face in his chest, a triumphant look flashing in her eyes.

After breakfast, Phillipe brought Abella to the largest amusement park in New York. It was particularly crowded on Saturdays.

"Have you been here before?" Phillipe lowered his head and softly asked the girl beside him.

"No."

When she was young, Mr. Wilson and Mrs. Wilson were often not at home. Not to mention taking her out to play, they didn't even have time to accompany her.

Philip took her hand and said, "I heard that kids like to come here."

So was he treating her like a kid?

The ticket checker had never seen such an eye-catching couple before and found it hard to take their eyes off them! The man looked noble, while the woman had a cold air about her. They seemed like a perfect match made in heaven.

"Have fun," said the ticket checker after checking their tickets, opening the gate for them.

Abella took a map of the amusement park at the entrance. She didn't expect the place to be quite big, with many attractions to enjoy.

Philip asked softly, "Which one do you want to play?"

Abella's gaze fell on the map, and she found the carousel nearby. She looked up at it and thought it was too childish.

Philip noticed her gaze directed towards the carousel not far away and thought she was interested. So, he held her hand and walked towards it.

She really was a child after all, enjoying riding carousels.

"It's quite sunny today, better put this on." Philip put a prepared sun hat on her head and gave her a sun-protective shirt to wear. He even had some sunscreen spray, saying, "Let me help you apply it."

"No need..." Abella wasn't used to using sunscreen. Her skin was naturally fair as she took good care of herself.

"Just a little bit, so you won't get sunburned." Philip sprayed some on her feet and then said, "Sit here and wait for me, I'll join the line."

Abella didn't expect him to be so considerate, and her heart suddenly warmed.

Seeing this, an old lady couldn't help nudging her husband's hand. "Look at them, so handsome and considerate. Look at yourself!"

"What's wrong with me?" The old man felt wronged. "You can't trust good-looking guys like him!"

"It's you who can't be trusted!"

Philip asked Abella to sit in the shade and wait while he lined up.

Abella noticed he was wearing casual clothes today, with a sling bag on his back, emanating a unique teenage air. He revealed a completely different side without wearing a suit.

She didn't expect him to look good without the formal attire, exuding youthful vigor and energy.

There were several female college students lined up behind him. They noticed Philip's handsome face and hearts appeared in their eyes.

"Hey, handsome guy, are you alone?"

"Can I add you on WhatsApp?"

"We're all single and don't have boyfriends yet..."

One of the girls blushed and nervously waited for Philip's response.

"I have a fiancée," Philip said, his gaze shifting to a girl not far away, filled with starry eyes, instantly becoming tender.

The girls realized that not only did he have a girlfriend, but her looks were also extremely envy-inducing. So, they all fell silent.

Abella saw that he was almost done with the line and stood up to walk towards him.

Philip naturally pulled her into his arms and said, "Why don't you take a rest? It's hot here."

"We're almost next."

Philip noticed the subtle jealousy in the girl's eyes, coupled with her warm and charming smile, he leaned in close to her ear and whispered, "Are you jealous? Is it a declaration of sovereignty?"

"You're mistaken," Abella remained composed, her beautiful face standing out even more.

After a while, they joined the queue. Abella looked at the childish pumpkin carriages and the big horses in front of her. Although she wasn't interested, with so many attractions in the amusement park, she didn't know what to play. So she decided to hop onto a white horse, displaying a cool and agile posture.

Phillipe sat on the horse next to her, holding her hand, as if there was only her in his eyes.

As the music started playing, the two horses went up and down. Phillipe looked at Abella, and she looked back at him.

A few female college students behind them were filled with envy. "Her fiancé is so tender and handsome!"

The middle-aged woman who had been pestering her husband earlier grabbed hold of his ear again. "Look at them! Without a word, he accompanies his girlfriend on the carousel. But you think it's embarrassing!"

"Ouch! Let go! In public, can't you be gentle..." The middle-aged man covered his ear. "We came here to accompany our grandson, not for a date! Besides, isn't it hot to hold hands in this hot weather!"

"You don't understand romance!"

Abella looked into Phillipe's eyes, as if there were burning galaxies igniting within, radiating heat.

"Don't you find it childish?" she asked softly.

If the executives from the corporation saw their CEO sitting on a carousel, who knows if their jaws would drop in astonishment.

"Abella, you don't understand," Phillipe said, holding her hand. "Every moment I spend with you, I feel happy. No matter what we do, as long as I see you happy, I am happy."

Just then, a flash caught their attention. Abella turned around and saw that the female college student from earlier was actually taking a secret photo of them!

Terrified, the female student only thought that the image of them holding hands and looking at each other was beautiful, so she couldn't resist capturing it...

Phillipe's eyes turned cold. "I'll handle it."

He was about to dismount when Abella tightened her grip on his hand. "Don't worry, it's fine."

If she wants to take photos, let her take as many as she wants. Besides, that girl has no idea about their identities and poses no threat to them.

Phillipe felt warmth in his heart when he noticed Abella tightening her grip on his hand, and he instinctively held onto her even tighter.

"Shall we take a few photos too?"

"Hmm?" Abella was somewhat surprised by his suggestion. "Sure."

Phillipe took out his phone and snapped a few shots. However, feeling that the distance between them was too far, he decided to dismount and ride with Abella on the same horse.

Ignoring the rule that only two people should share a horse, the close proximity made Abella's face flush with heat.

"It's better this way." Phillipe embraced her from behind, his handsome face lightly leaning against her shoulder.

The staff responsible for maintaining order pretended not to see. He couldn't bear to approach such a handsome man.

"Is this how couples take photos?" Phillipe's voice trailed off as he placed a gentle kiss on her.

Her face, Abella's expression was a bit stunned, and this scene was captured perfectly by Phillipe's phone.

"Phillipe!"

"Abella, look at the camera." Phillipe held her in his arms, his eyes shining like stars.

He rarely smiled in his daily life, and the people in the group only saw his cold side. But with Abella, he smiled a lot.
