Chapter 1021 Everyone's Blessings

"If you don't eat properly, I won't invite you next time," Abella said, and the seven elders immediately picked up their forks and started eating obediently.

"That's better, isn't it? It's so nice to be harmonious," Abella added, and the elders began serving each other food, their actions dripping with insincerity.

The nearby reporters were surprised at how easily Abella had defused the bickering among the elders. They had been too scared to make a sound just moments ago.

The viewers in the livestream chat were thoroughly entertained, amazed at how Abella managed to keep the seven elders in line.

[Abella is amazing! I declare she my idol!]

[These elders are hilarious. Watching them bicker is so much fun.]

[I'm so jealous of Abella. She has so many grandpas doting on her. I just got yanked out of bed by my mom for sleeping in a bit.]

Seeing that the elderly men were eating properly, Abella was about to return to her own table when she noticed her friends at two other tables waving at her.

"Abella, come over here!" Clare called, holding up a glass and waving with her other hand.

At the table were Saskia, her long-haired friend Luna Reed, her short-haired friend Nova Ramirez with her jagged bangs, her friend Hestia Cooper with the beautiful collarbones, and her male friends Jared Porter, Byron Reyes, and Lonnie Caldwell. They all smiled and waved at Abella.

"Everyone's here?" Abella smiled brightly as she approached them, taking the water Clare handed her. "Since we're all here, let's have a toast. Thank you all for coming to my homecoming party."

"Abella, you're being so polite all of a sudden. It's a bit unsettling," Jared said with his usual charmingly roguish smile, his earring glinting. Abella and Clare had visited his new club before, which had been turned upside down by Remy and Isla.

"Enough with the thanks. Let's just toast together," Saskia said, leading everyone to stand and raise their glasses. "Congratulations, Abella. You've finally made it through the storm. From now on, we're counting on you to lead us in having a great time."

"Sure, no problem."

Everyone laughed and clinked glasses with Abella.

Abella had just taken a sip when Jared quickly took her glass away. "That's enough. Don't drink too much. You haven't eaten much yet. Go eat. Did those elders start arguing again and come to you for judgment?"

Abella smiled lightly. "They're always like that. I'm used to it."

"Abella!" Josie called happily from another table. She was sitting with Samuel, and they looked very much like a couple.

"Abella," Samuel said, standing up with his glass after serving Josie some food. "Let's have a toast."

"When did you two get together?" Abella asked with a slight smile, looking at them.

"Josie agreed to date me just last week," Samuel said, smiling shyly but happily.

There was a funny story about how Josie couldn't climb over a wall, and Samuel had helped her. Later, when Josie was pushed into the water by their classmate Lucine, Samuel had jumped in to save her. One thing led to another, and they ended up together.

Abella's gaze then fell on her roommate Joanna and the rich kid, Arthur, who were also holding hands under the table.

"We've been dating for about three days. You've been busy, so we didn't get a chance to tell you," Arthur said with a sheepish laugh, standing up. "Cheers!"

"No need. You still have to take Joanna home later. Don't drink," Abella said.

After chatting with them for a bit, Abella was called over by another group.

Theo, Sam, Tony, Ernest, and others were all there.

"Ms. Medici, we don't have fancy words, but congratulations. It's about damn time," Sam said, only to be scolded by the others.

"Can you be more refined? It's Ms. Medici's big day."

"Right, right. Congratulations, Ms. Medici. It's about time."

Everyone clinked glasses with Abella and drank heartily. Abella told them to eat more.

The "employee table" also called her over, with QY's head, Jack, and various industry executives all offering their congratulations.

After making her rounds, Abella saw Sarah, Vilma's best friend, at another table.

At Vilma's funeral, Sarah had cried her heart out. Now, seeing Abella finally reunited with her family and her identity revealed, Sarah stood up, tears of joy in her eyes.

As Abella approached, Sarah hugged her tightly.

"I finally get to see this day for Vilma," Sarah said, tears streaming down her face. "Tomorrow, I'll visit her grave and tell her that your achievements and identity are finally recognized, and that you're doing well. She can rest in peace now."

"Thank you," Abella said, touched, gently patting her back. "Thank you for caring for me all these years. I'm so glad you could come today."

Someone handed Abella a tissue. It was Randy, who had come with his grandfather, Daniel.

She hadn't expected him to come.

He looked even more handsome and confident than before, though a bit thinner, but not unhealthily so.

Abella nodded at him and Daniel in greeting, then took the tissue to help Sarah wipe her tears.

"I can do it myself. Don't worry about me," Sarah said, taking the tissue and wiping her tears, then smiling through them. "I'm just so happy. You've been through so much, and now you finally have good days ahead. This is your homecoming party, and I'm being so rude. Don't worry, I'll stay healthy and live a long life. I still need to see those two scoundrels get their punishment. I'll bring the news to Vilma every year. I won't go down easily."

"Thank you. Mrs. Wilson was lucky to have a friend like you," Abella said.

"Abella, no need to thank me. You're Vilma's chosen granddaughter, so you're my granddaughter too. Your business is my business."

After chatting with her for a bit, Abella greeted Randy and Daniel, telling them to eat more, before being called away by her manager, Kiki.
