Chapter 1031 Counting Gifts Until Hands Ache

Meanwhile, ever since Abella's true identity came out, Long Island Manor had been buzzing with visitors. For days, the place was packed, creating a lively atmosphere.

Today, another couple arrived, showering Abella with compliments the moment they walked in.

"Abella, these sweet talkers are Yosef and Wilhelmina Owens," Kimberly introduced them with a big smile. "They've been family friends for over ten years."

Abella smiled and greeted them, "Hi, Mr. Owens. Hi, Mrs. Owens."

"Abella, not only are you clever, but you're also beautiful, and your voice is just lovely. You two really know how to have kids; she's perfect in every way!" Wilhelmina gushed, pulling out two gifts from her handbag and insisting Abella take them.

"Wilhelmina, you're too kind. Abella's all grown up now," Kimberly said.

"This is just a little something from Yosef and me. You have to accept it," Wilhelmina insisted.

"Abella, since it's a token from Mr. and Mrs. Owens, you should accept it," Kimberly encouraged.

Knowing she couldn't refuse, Abella said, "Thank you, Mr. Owens. Thank you, Mrs. Owens."

Just then, another family of three arrived.

"Uriah Warner, Violette Saunders, Theodosia Warner, you're here?" Kimberly greeted them warmly.

"We wanted to come a few days ago, but seeing so many cars outside Long Island Manor, we thought you and Beckett might be too busy. So we decided to come early today, and it looks like we were right; it's less crowded now," Violette explained, then greeted the Owens couple before turning her attention to Abella.

"At the homecoming party a few days ago, there were too many people trying to talk to Abella. We couldn't get close. Today, we finally get to see her up close," Violette said, exuding elegance and grace.

"Let me introduce you, Abella. This is Mr. Warner, Mrs. Warner, and their daughter Theodosia," Kimberly said with a smile.

"Hi, Mr. Warner. Hi, Mrs. Warner. Hi, Theodosia," Abella greeted them.

"Hello, Abella," Theodosia replied.

Violette handed two gifts to Abella. Seeing this, the Owens couple felt a bit uneasy as the gifts were larger and more exquisite than theirs.

"I wish you to surpass yourself and continue to create your own brilliance. Also, grow up healthy and happy," Violette said warmly.

Kimberly nodded at Abella, who accepted the gifts and said, "Thank you, Mr. Warner, Mrs. Warner. I wish your family happiness as well."

More guests arrived, and soon Abella's gifts piled up like a mountain.

"Abella, your phone's been ringing a bunch. Someone's probably trying to reach you. You should go check it out," Blake said as he came downstairs, greeting the guests and giving Abella a chance to take a break.

The guests turned their attention to Blake, showering him with praise for his singing and dancing talents.

Abella knew Blake was giving her an out, letting her catch her breath. Her phone was actually in her pocket, not upstairs.

In her room, Abella placed the gifts on the already crowded table, filled with presents from the past few days.

The maid, who was tidying up the bed, smiled and said, "Ms. Medici, you've got more Christmas gifts than anyone I've ever seen."

"This is the first time I've ever received so many gifts in my life."

"Ms. Medici, you've been through so much. That Lola took your identity and got all those Christmas gifts for years without any gratitude, even plotting against you. It's just too much!"

"Let's not talk about her."

The maid finished making the bed and offered, "Ms. Medici, shall I help you organize these gifts?"

"Sure," Abella agreed, not wanting to deal with the pile herself.

"This one is quite heavy," The maid said, opening the first gift to reveal a stack of money bound with a white band. "It looks like twenty thousand dollars. Let me count it..."

Abella, lounging on the sofa and texting Phillipe, lazily replied, "No need to count. Just unbind it, and I'll have someone take it to the bank to use the counting machine."

"Alright," The maid smiled and continued unwrapping gifts. "Ms. Medici, did you know? The least valuable gift here is worth ten thousand dollars."

These people were incredibly generous!

"Are you using the skincare products I gave you?"

"Yes, I use them every morning and night. My skin is so smooth now, not a single pimple in sight. Thank you, Ms. Medici. You're amazing for creating such effective products."

Just then, Lauren knocked and brought in a plate of fruit. "Ms. Medici, you must be tired. Have some fruit and take a break. More guests have arrived downstairs, relatives from the Medici and Harris families."

Abella understood. It was the first time her relatives were visiting, so she needed to go greet them.

"Once you've greeted them, I'll say you have a phone call and bring you back up," Lauren offered.

"Thank you, Lauren."

"I'll go entertain the guests now."

"Alright."
