Chapter 924 Cheating Dennis Out of Money
From a distance, Kimberly could see Louie bouncing up and down, waving like a madman. He shouted, "Mrs. Medici, we're back! Can you let us in?"
If Kimberly opened the door, Abella probably wouldn't say anything, right?
Kimberly was puzzled. Why was Louie more excited to see her than a lifeline?
"Why didn't you go inside when you got here? Didn't you say Dennis just had surgery?" Kimberly walked closer and saw that the front door was locked. The bodyguard seemed to be engrossed in his phone.
Dennis must have forgotten his keys and called the bodyguard, but the bodyguard didn't hear him, so they couldn't get in.
"Why didn't you call me?" Kimberly said, then knocked on the bodyguard's door. "Dennis is home and can't get in? It's freezing out here."
"Kimberly..." The bodyguard opened the door, looking helpless. "It's not that I didn't open the door for Mr.Medici. It's Ms. Medici. She wouldn't let me..."
"Why?" Kimberly was stunned and looked at Dennis and Louie. Both had guilty expressions, as if they had done something wrong. Did Dennis and Louie upset Abella?
But they just got back. When would they have had the time to upset Abella? Did they run into her on the way? Or did they do something to annoy her somewhere?
"What exactly happened?" Kimberly asked the bodyguard.
"Just now, Ms. Medici said a few words to Mr. Medici at the door, then she got angry." The bodyguard didn't dare say what Dennis did to upset Abella, only that, "Ms. Medici told me to guard the door and if either of them dared to come in, to beat them up."
Kimberly was shocked, not expecting that it was so serious.
"Mrs. Medici, it's all a misunderstanding..." Louie started to explain, but saw Kimberly grab a stun baton from the bodyguard. He quickly hid behind Dennis, whispering, "Mr. Medici, can I take a leave now? I need to spend Easter with my parents."
Kimberly was terrifying when she was angry, even Beckett couldn't stop her!
"You two, not coming home for half a year is one thing, but making Abella this angry." Kimberly looked at the bodyguard, "Open the door. I'll beat them myself..."
They hadn't even stepped inside and already made Abella this mad.
Abella was usually so gentle; they must have done something really bad to make her this angry.
The bodyguard didn't dare upset Kimberly, so he quickly pressed the button to open the door. The door slowly opened.
In this house, Abella was number one, and Kimberly was definitely number two.
He didn't dare go against Kimberly's wishes.
Louie widened his eyes, surprised that the bodyguard was so unreliable. Not only did he not help stop Kimberly, but he also added fuel to the fire by opening the door for her.
As soon as the door opened, Kimberly swung the stun baton at Dennis.
Though she didn't activate the electric function, the baton would still hurt.
"Mrs. Medici, calm down! Mr. Medici is injured; you can't hit him." Louie said, but he got hit instead. He had rushed to shield Dennis, not expecting Kimberly to not hold back.
He yelped in pain. Kimberly had definitely gotten stronger recently.
Seeing that she had hit the wrong person, Kimberly stopped, glaring at Dennis. "Since Abella told you to stay here, you stay until she's no longer mad. Close the door!"
"Mrs. Medici..." Louie wanted to say he didn't mind, but at least let Dennis in. Dennis had been standing here for a long time.
But seeing Kimberly's sharp gaze, he quickly changed his tone, "Take care... calm down... don't mind us..."
After Kimberly stormed off, Louie rubbed his arm in pain and looked at Dennis, "Mr. Medici, what do we do now?"
Even Kimberly wouldn't save them.
Dennis had no idea either, so he took out his phone and messaged Blake, who usually had the best ideas.
Dennis: [How to make Abella happy?]
As soon as he sent the message, he received several shocked emojis from Blake.
Dennis replied, annoyed: [Want a beating?]
Blake immediately called him, "Dennis, I can't believe you made Abella mad. You're so brave. Abella could kick you ten feet away with one spin kick."
Dennis frowned slightly. "So you all know how skilled Abella is?"
"Who told you not to come home? I've said it before, Abella's virtues could be talked about for days."
"Do you have any ideas?"
"Dennis, are you shivering? Are you cold? Are you locked outside by Abella?" Blake could imagine Dennis's grim face, "No way, Dennis, did I guess right? Are you really locked outside by Abella? Hahaha..."
"Stop laughing!"
Blake tried to hold back his laughter. "Well, I'm the best at making Abella happy. You asked the right person. But there's a cool new sports car coming out, and I'm torn about which color to choose. I'll tell you once I've decided."
Dennis caught the hint, "Whichever you choose, I'll buy it for you."
Blake didn't expect Dennis to be so generous.
"Dennis, it costs fifty million dollars."
"I said I'll buy it."
"Transfer the money now?" Blake didn't want Dennis to back out later, "I need to pay the deposit now."
Dennis exited the call and transferred fifty million dollars to Blake's account. Soon, Blake received a transfer notification.
"Now, can you tell me?" Dennis seemed impatient. He didn't care about being cold, just worried about Abella's mind.
"Dennis, to be honest, if you made Abella mad, you should stand there and reflect. No shortcuts. I was going to hit you for Abella. Consider the fifty million dollars as buying your peace." Blake quickly hung up.
Dennis's mind went blank. He had been tricked by the foolish Blake.
Feeling Dennis's low mood, Louie couldn't help but ask, "Mr. Dennis Medici, did Mr. Blake Medici give you any good ideas?"
"Shut up." Dennis thought he would deal with Blake in a few days.
After getting his reward, Blake called Steven, "Steven, there's something very important, related to Abella, but it risks offending people, and I'm scared to say it."
"Speak." Steven's tone was as commanding as ever, "Whatever it is, I'll back you up."
"Steven, you must protect me well, don't let me get hurt. Also, my wallet is thinner than I am lately..."
